Room was perfect. Had everything we wanted and more. Balcony was a great size also

Everything was of an exceptionally high standard, the pool area was a let down and certainly did not maintain the standard everywhere else. When it was a hot afternoon there was quite a few people at the pool. It was very difficult to order a drink at times. A couple of times the barman seemed to be missing completely for long periods of time chasing simple things like ice. There was a couple of excellent staff, but there was also a very bad one. Could not even get a simple drink order correct and it took forever. The food is also of a low standard. For a place has has such excellent food everywhere else, the pool menu is quite poor.

The location is excellent. The rooftop bar with pool and jacuzzi is very nice. There are multiple sitting/dining options. Great gym. The courtyard behind the hotel is lovely. I appreciate having a bathtub in my room. Breakfast was great. I had fresh mango every morning.

The quality of the sheets was not that of a five star hotel. The sheets were rough and scratchy. Marriott and Hilton have better sheet quality. I was surprised by this, as I expected the bed linens to be on par with everything else in the hotel.

Roof top pool was a nice break in the middle of a hot day. The hotel was clean and nicely situated. We were able to walk to all the things we wanted to see without taking a taxi. There was a gym for use, a little small, but it had enough of the machines to do a light workout.

The room felt smaller and felt tight with two people and their luggage. While the staff were eager and attentive, at times if felt like we were at an All Inclusive tropical resort. We personally didn't like that, but other's might like that.

The location was great, close to the main shopping area and the Opera and Palace. The concierge were brilliantly, I strongly recommend you us their knowledge, they booked us restaurants and arranged cars. The hotel ha a complimentary car which we also used. Breakfast was lovely, and it was great sitting in the garden and bar enjoying cocktails and relaxing.

It was a shame the swimming pool and roof terrace were out of action - the weather was beautiful and it would have been great if we could have taken advantage of the facilities. We did know ahead of our stay but it was a shame.

I came to madrid with my spouse for his birthday ., i wrote to the hotel a massage regarding this issue but no attention was made.... The room ( classic) was small and the window was facing an ugly building which was very disappointing. The hotel was far from being full and its a pity that we were not offered a nicer room.

LLL- location - walking distance to Gran Via, Location- walking to Cathedral and Palace, Location to Metro just a few steps away. The Palace is a fine part of history and is a treat to stay during your visit to Madrid. There is a nice breakfast buffet style but also a menu if you ask for it. Service throughout the hotel is amazing.

Service is top notch, nothing to not like.

This and advice to the Melia company after I've been to the Melia in Marbella a scandalous hotel that will surely ruin your reputation. Upgrade your Marbella hotel so it doesn't ruin your work that you do in other cities. Madrid hotel nothing short of extraordinary and beautiful.

Staff very Friendly and helpful rooms spacious and well equipped hotel very clean in all areas Breakfast weas excellent with a very wide choice available, red level options good nice outdoor space to sit and relax also had a very nice Rooftop Pool area.

lack of barstaff at rooftop pool was a shame as people were often left waiting to order drinks as only 1 person was working the bar area and they kept being called away to do other jobs in the hotel, other than that minor issue a great hotel with fantastic service

Pretty much everything… all the staff are warm and friendly, room beautifully appointed, breakfast lovely, Dos Cielos restaurant amazing, Great location in West Madrid close to the Palace but still a discreet and quiet spot.

Fantastic hotel in the heart of Madrid. Service was exceptional. Rooms nicely done, breakfasts very good.

The red level is not really worth the extra expense. The idea is great but the area is not comfortable enough. It’s more like a restaurant and needs to be more inviting. Also table service would make it more appealing.
