Exceptional. Lovely house, every facility we wanted and more. The beds were superbly comfortable, the shower was hot and strong, the breakfast was so plentiful and fresh it was a delight. To be able to use the kitchen was an unexpected and great addition. We were able to eat in if we wanted. It's a very old house but it is maintained to the highest standard and spotlessly clean. The staff could not have been more helpful or pleasant. Definitely a place to stay again.

There was absolutely nothing we did not like. Everything was exceptional.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and very welcoming on arrival. The breakfast choices were excellent - something to suit everyone. There was an honesty bar which was a nice touch if you hadn't been to the shops. There were also cooking facilities and fridge space so that you were able to cater for light lunches/suppers.

Fortunately we booked a non-pet room but this should be checked in advance if allergies etc. There appeared to be a lot of guests with dogs, which would not be our preference due to allergies, but would suit many.

The property itself was wonderful! My room was a suite, and couldn’t be any better. The room was very big, nicely decorated and clean. The breakfast was great!! Fresh products and a healthy breakfast, +++ fresh pressed orange juice. What was even better than all the above was the people working there. They were sooooo nice and kind - you could literally ask for anything. I would recommend the place so much!!

The room was great but the beds were a touch too hard for me. Next to that, the room was a little noisy.

Absolutely beautiful property which was well maintained and was in a quiet rural location. The view from my room was stunning and everyone made me feel very welcome. I even got a lift back to Gandia train station. Pablo was so friendly and helpful. I can only highly recommend this place and will definitely like to visit again.

As I had no personal transportation it was a bit of a far walk to the town centre and definitely to the beach. The public transport in the town is not very good so you will definitely need a car if you like your comfort.

From the moment we arrived at El SEQUER, we were made to feel at home. Pablo told us about the history of his family home and kindly informed us about placces of interest to visit during our stay. All of the staff were extremely kind and helpful. The location of this house in beautiful olive groves is exceptional and although you are right next to the town of Oliva, it feels as if you are in the middle of the countryside. A great breakfast makes a good start to every day.We couldn't have asked for more and will definitely repeat the experience.

Everything was to our liking. No complaints.

Beautiful old house with lovely historic family touches - photographs, books, furniture. All set in splendid grounds, with a nice pool though a touch cold for a swim at this time of year! (Nov) The breakfast offering with eggs cooked to order was perfect. Being able to use kitchen/fridge for drinks and to heat a 'ready meal' was brilliant for me as a solo traveller in the winter.

Wonderful breakfasts with produce from the surrounding gardens. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff who even did our clothes washing for us! Good recommendations of the things to do and places to eat in the area. Use of shared fridge and kitchen. Shaded secure parking. Lovely pool that was cool and shaded in the afternoons. Great local beaches. We couldn’t recommend it more highly.

The property is beautiful and in a quiet, rural setting surrounded by orange groves. Although you can walk into Oliva, a car is highly recommended to make the most of the area. We were made to feel really welcome by the owner and staff and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was large, spotless and had a private terrace area - the breakfasts were delicious and there was plenty of variety. The pool looked lovely but unfortunately the weather was not always kind so we were not able to take advantage of it. Highly recommended!

We couldn't fault this property.

The hotel is a delightful oasis (set in an orange grove). The owner was friendly and welcoming- as were all the staff. The building and gardens are attractive and well maintained. The pool was warm enough to swim in each day (in early May) and the rest of the facilities were also great. Our room had great views and a very nice balcony.

The location is slightly out of central Oliva, but for most people (with car) that shouldn't be a problem at all- as there is secure parking- which is hard to find in Oliva itself. If you walk into town, be sure to use the Cami Collado and head towards the blue tiled church roof. Nice restaurants are within walking distance.

We stayed for two nights in El Sequer Casa Rural, our experience was just special from the the moment we reached the gateway controlled by intercom, parking was shaded, the Casa El Sequer is amazing, we were welcomed at the main front entrance by very friendly staff members who showed around, we were made to feel special which is unique. Our bedroom & en-suite was very nice. Breakfast in the morning was continental but you could have bacon & egg, scrambled egg, omelette if you so wished - Rosa was only only too happy to oblige. Overall an very relaxed experience, could not have been better, wifi is excellent. We toured the general area up onto the steep mountain terrain with 360 degree views, cove del Rull is worth a visit. We would highly recommend El Sequer Casa Rural for at least two nights and more, it’s located close to many interesting sites including the famous Park Natural de L’Albufera, Valencia city, mountain trekking etc.,
