Room was spacious, with all the amenities provided. It was the first time we stayed in a hotel with our little dog and we felt very welcomed. They had a little dog care package in the room, ie bowl for water, pads and some canned food just in case you need them! We felt this extra touch was very nice. Parking was a bonus, as when you come by car you always worry about where to leave it safely and we didn't have to worry at all.

There was nothing that we didn't like. We didn't get to try out the restaurant as it was closed for a private event, but it didn't bother us at all.

The gothic look is great. Staff were friendly Location is so convenient for the ferry port and the area of Santurce is worth a stroll to. The lovely terrace where you can have breakfast or a late night drink Quaint seating areas around the hotel. Secure parking The breakfast was good Beds were comfy

The bathroom needed updating. Old grouting had mildew in the shower/bath At 70 and 76 years old, climbing in and out of a very narrow bath to take a shower is not very safe or easy. For a 4* hotel, the towels were not up to standard, quality wise.

Living like royalty in a 1906 palace! 👑 Just had the most amazing stay at the URH Hotel Palacio de Oriol in Santurce, Bilbao. Waking up in a historic monument with breathtaking views of Abra Bay was something special – the perfect mix of elegance and comfort. ✨It was incredible to come back to a space that felt both luxurious and modern. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to blend style, history, and convenience! 🏰🇪🇸

The hotel was beautiful and our room had a glorious balcony overlooking the harbor, Getxo and the Vizcaya Bridge. I expected the area to be more industrial, but it really was a neighborhood (in addition to being industrial) and it was really fun to walk along the water and over to Getxo via the aerial bridge. We saw the beach, but didn't go. We wished we had had more time to relax and to explore. There was parking in the basement and it was only about 25 minutes to the airport. We weren't there for breakfast.

Room was very good with balcony overlooking the harbour breakfast was exceptional the scrambled eggs and bacon were the best i have eaten in a long time

We booked a table in restaurant at the reception desk for dinner when we arrived at restaurant only to be told no reservation was made however after conversations with reception the waitress on duty gave us a table (The restaurant was totally empty) she seemed very indignant that we had arrived and made every effort to get our meal served very quickly to get us out, the bill was presented without asking for it this is the only time i thought the service in this hotel was lacking

Very good service, nice breakfast, excellent location and the restaurant for dinner is very good! You can enjoy the view of the river from the tranquility of the bar. Nice surrounding, plenty of trees.

The only thing I didnt like is that the temperature in the room was too hot. The AC is controlled by the hotel; the first day, they fix it, but the second night, I haven't a good sleep at all.

A classic castle with all morden equipments, a perfect place to relax yourself and experience the local life, I would say it's one of the best hotel I've ever stayed. Also, the reception gives a room upgrade to the junior room, with windows and sunlight from all the orientation.

The only thing that I might say it's a little unsatisfied is that the curtain, they can't be perfectly closed, always some gap between each 2 curtains.

Room size was good and air con worked well. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We were allowed to keep our motorcycles parked in the garage and kept our luggage at the hotel for the afternoon after our check out time for free.

Room wasn't ready at the stated check in time and the garage was difficult to get into as the intercom didn't seem to work properly. House keeping entered the room an hour before check out time.

Location, a 15 min walk to Portugalete, secure parking under the hotel. Good sized, clean and comfortable room. Very convenient stop off for the night if you are getting the ferry, the port is a ten minute drive. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Food in the restaurant very good indeed.

Our view out of our two tiny, filthy dirty circular windows. Pigeon droppings and pigeon deterrent spikes. Service in the restaurant was extremely hurried, we were asked our choices within two minutes of being handed a menu.

A very pleasant hotel with plenty of room... a little tired in some places but suited us very well. Situated in a suburb of Bilbao, it gave us reason not to just stick in the city centre. Lots going on on the river. Good connections ... metro & rail into the city and the motorway on a couple of miles away. Breakfast was excellent and parking conveniently under the hotel.

Not much, the door to our patio needs some work on it and there was a rat trap on the balcony.
