Room, breakfast and service all good. I liked the extra touch of the lemonade in the reception area.

No parking. We were told by a staff member that the area past the railway and to the right was free - we left a car there for two days and found two parking fines when we returned

We had a great stay @EL Cid as always been coming for the last ten years only miss out on lock down years. The hotel has not changed in that time a little dated but it is perfect in good location at the back of Sitges walking distance to beach front. bars and restaurants. Very closed to train station perfect. Excellent breakfast all you can eat buffet, lots of choice in a large breakfast room does get busy at times. A good swimming pool . Good large bed room big bed and updated bathroom large balcony all good

We did feel the hotel has gone up in price but then Sitges is expensive all rounder. Maids can be noisy outside your door early morning, our room door was left open all day after cleaning one day a bit scary but room was cleaned every day and new towels every day

It is sparkling clean. Very good value for 1 star hotel. It is close to railway station. The staff are very friendly and they all can speak fluent English. I arrived early at 10 am in the morning after a 21-hour flight. They have a facility for me to take a shower and get changed and left my luggage while I am waiting for check-in, which is about 2pm. A large range of choice for breakfast. The breakfast is serving from 8am to 12pm. I booked in the room with the pool view which is the excellent choice as I can dry all my towel and swimwear in the balcony. So, I can use next day.

If they install a power pluge beside the bed, that would be perfect.

The location is wonderful! Easy walk to the beach, stores, and central town areas. The breakfast was great! Always a good selection that fills you up. Prosecco is a nice touch! (If you're lucky enough to get some). The pool gets sunshine 90% of the day, which is fab. The staff are lovely, especially the Breakfast staff! They are all very welcoming and accepting.

To be honest there isn't much I could say. I'd love the rooms to have conditioner for hair and a hairdryer. If I'm being picky then some of the rooms can get a bit noisey, but honestly it wasn't that bothersome or bad. TV channels could do with some English ones besides just news! :D But who's coming to Sitges to sit in their room and watch TV anyway!

Staff were so friendly as always. Rooms clean and well equipped. Sheets and towels changed daily. Aircon, TVs and great location. Beach towels free of charge and breakfast included. What's not to like?!?

Some of the public areas are really starting to look tired. Walls are scuffed by housekeeping trollies. Carpets are stained / bleached....and the wrought iron lamps and light fittings really need to go. None of that would stop me from staying there again though! I love the place, really! xx

Stayed here for over 27 years and in the groups other hotels the staff from the cleaners reception breakfast staff office staff have always been professional helpful and friendly this hotel has a low star rating but why I’ve never understood the location is amazing the rooms cleaned daily plenty choices at breakfast the pool is great and everyone around it are friendly have always enjoyed el Cid

I don’t really have a complaint the only thing I would say to the management would be to ask why oh why have you taken away the table and chairs from outside reception on the street we missed them and so did everybody we spoke to those tables are like a signature of el Cid when coming back from shop a nice little sit down meeting friends when going out at night for a coffee after breakfast they are truly missed so a re think about them would be appreciated

Room was decent size, bathroom a little on the small side but perfectly functunal, location was great, loads of bars and restaraunts within 50mts, nice ten minite stroll through the old town to get to beach. there was plenty choice for breakfast and kept fresh by not putting to much out, but constantly bringing more out. And breakfast served till 12.00 was priceless for us, staff very friendly and more than competant. Overall we had a great stay in a great ( unbelievably) 1 star hotel

As you can probably guess with my like comment. In our opinion we couldn,t fault the El Cid

The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the train station. Check-in was very easy. The staff were awesome throughout our stay. The room was very comfortable, with a terrace overlooking the street. There is a small fridge which is great to keep drinks chilled. The buffet breakfast ensures a good start for the day.

If you need a safe deposit key, there is a €20 deposit fee (which is refundable) plus an additional €3 charge per day. If you ask for a beach towel, there is a €10 deposit charge per towel. A beach umbrella is provided for free, but availability is not guaranteed. There are no coffee/tea making facilities in the room.

The staff were very kind and spent time showing me around the hotel and directing me around the town since it was my first time in Sitges. The room was very nice, excellent air conditioning which was definitely needed! Had the option to either relax on my balcony or around the pool, both were very nice. My room came with a mini fridge which I loved. The main shopping area and beachfront is less than a 5 minute walk away. Breakfast was good, plenty of cold options and a few hot foods to choose from every morning. The coffee machines at breakfast were the best part.

I found that even with the windows and doors shut the noise from the street every morning had me waking up very early. This isn’t the hotels fault though as it’s not their noise, the hotel is central so the streets can get busy in the morning. I also wish I could have spent more time around the pool, however only a few sun loungers have the option of shade from umbrellas and these get taken first. These are my only negatives and definitely won’t stop me from staying again.

Choose El Cid due to its location in centre of Sitges. Price was great deal and included an amazing choice of hot and cold dishes for breakfast from 8am daily. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel clean and rooms of various sizes and prices to chose from. The room had very good air conditioning a strong flow shower and balcony giving view over pool. Hotel close to all shops and a short walk to local train and bus services. Beach walk was 5mins through main shops n restaurant and bar areas. Planing a return visit to El Cid in 2025.
