We were absolutely delighted with our stay at this accommodation. From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel incredibly welcome. As soon as our tuk-tuk pulled up, he greeted us with a warm smile and offered us a Welcome Drink. He showed us to our room, which was exactly as pictured—clean, cozy, and equipped with fresh towels and essential toiletries. The host’s hospitality didn’t stop there. We requested lunch, and within 15 minutes, we were enjoying delicious, home-cooked meals with a variety of options. He went above and beyond by providing invaluable advice about local markets, must-see attractions, and even helped us plan a boat safari. The trip was an absolute highlight! We saw numerous birds, monitor lizards, monkeys, and even bats. The guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, sharing fascinating details about the local flora and fauna, including cinnamon trees. The private boat tour, tailored just for us, was a serene and unforgettable experience at a very reasonable price. We truly appreciate the host’s efforts in making our stay so enjoyable!

The owner Gayan and his sister Kalani were very welcoming when we arrived. They were not fully booked so gave us a choice of rooms. The room was very well equipped and very clean. There was a small area with a sink, cutlery and crockery, a kettle and a fridge. The room was big enough for us to have space for our bags, there was a lockable cupboard and fan with good Aircon as well. There was a seating area outside. The dining area was clean and spacious. We were served the most delicious breakfasts all sri lankan and different each time. These included tea or coffee or juice. Gayan was very helpful on one day when my husband was ill and for that we are very grateful. The hotel is close to Galle City and the local beaches. We found a wonderful bar/restaurant on the sea side called Tunagate where we spent a couple of days chilling We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel. It is inexpensive and well worth it

Very clean rooms and bathrooms and AC room. Lovely home and host, brought us a drink upon a arrival. was around a 5 minute tuk tuk to galle fort! Very good value for money and would recommend to anyone on a budget:)

Wi-Fi wasn’t the best but didn’t matter for us as we had 4G. Just not good for someone needing strong Wi-Fi.

Super cute homestay with a lovely family! I felt very welcomed and they even offered to help with a boat safari. I didn’t do it in the end but it sounded great to do! The room is huge and clean. Breakfast is also really yummy! It’s just a two minute walk to the Main Street which means is very quite and no street noises. Bus stops are right at the Main Street and also some small shops.

The room is the nicest room I have stayed in for the money here- mini fridge, small kitchenette area with cutlery, dishes and a sink. A large, clean bathroom. Owner is a great guy, took me to a couple places on his bike, and gave free drinks. The breakfast is good. I highly recommend this place, the value for money is great.

Its a bit of a walk to fort area, its not too bad as can get a tuktuk for very cheap or just walk if you like !

One of the most amazing stay for my family. Ging view villa is a beautifully design property that is walking distance from the ocean front and also a lake. The host took very good care of all our needs with attention to detail. He was available 24/7 and even took us around galle personally. It's a perfect home stay for families and my son enjoyed the property the most. Breakfast was done well and sufficient. Would highly recommend this place for peace, calming and easy access to touristic places. And trust me the host Gyan is a star

We stayed here for 7 nights , I took an instant liking too all the staff , everything about this little place was brilliant, the breakfast was outstanding, guyarn the owner was a gentleman , his wife and sister where truly lovely people , I go to Sri Lanka once sometimes twice a year , I will go back here for sure , thankyou everybody involved, .

Let's start with the host Gayan and family. A welcoming cold drink goes a long way and as a posseser of ancient technology locating the Villa was harder than need be. Gayan to the rescue on his scooter a quick reprieve as it was near at hand. I've been treated like a VIP and the food is excellent washed down with ice cold on site beer. Quiet location and the room is spacious, a hot shower if inclined and the luxury of a small desktop fridge supplemented with cooling air conditioning to suit. Above all the hospitality second to none. I'm running out of superlatives.

Even close to the road, Ging Vew Villa is a very quiet and silent place. Gayan and his family are very nice and provide you the best service possible with gentleness. Room is very clean, AC working very well, bathroom, bed sheet and towel very clean ! Garden is peacefully and each room has chair and table outside to enjoy the garden. First day I came late in the night, and they waitted for me very gently, welcoming me with fresh juice.,.... No need to fight with touk touk being alone Gayan offered me few drops to the fort and station, I enjoyed choosing this place, close to the fort to visit it. I ll recommand Ging Vew to my friends visiting Galle.

Nothing exempt the power sockets almost burnt my computer charger. Be sure to use an adaptater to avoid this problem. It is a common problem in many other stays, not only this one.
