It is fantastic that they are keeping up with the standards and the hotel is still in good condition fresh clean new Special mention to Prasad from housekeeping. He did a great job in keeping my room clean and ready. He responded to requests very promptly.

The welcoming on arrival was friendly and efficient. The breakfast was very good and complete served by nice and courteous staff.

The room balcony was opening to the balcony of a neighbor’s house at two meters distance which made our balcony not usable by lack of privacy. On my last day, I requested twice by phone to the reception à fresh bath towel which was never delivered. Upon checkout the reception staff was a bit cold…

Fantastic location for Negombo as it is close to a small supermarket, many restaurants, ATM etc. Best part was the view from our terrace with jacuzzi and jacuzzi itself :-) Cleaning service awesome and extremely nice. Comfortable bed and good AC. Delicious papaya and pineapple for breakfast :-) At the end of our stay, we got invited for a delicious dinner in our hotel and it was absolutely spot on dinner - great cook :)

Breakfast should be improved as you can order fried eggs or an omlette but it does not matter what you order as what you receive is super random.... coffee not a good one and you must wait or hunt someone to bring a cup of coffee for quite some time. Additionally, a variety of food should be changed from one day to another - at least a little bit. Staying 2 weeks and eating every day the same is a bit boring.

The hotel gets better the higher up you go. The rooftop bar is a very nice spot for a meal or drink. The infinity pool has nice ocean views. The restaurant on the sixth floor is very good. Excellent staff. Good food, not too expensive. Again, it has nice ocean views and a good ambience. The rooms are large. Mine had ocean views and a balcony, which is the main reason for staying at the hotel. Good location next to the beach and just off the main tourist street. 20 mins by tuk tuk to the airport. Nice staff. They let me check out a bit later free of charge.

Reception was a bit small for the size of the hotel. I arrived after a big group so it felt a bit overfull. Some small things in the room didn't work very well, e.g. handheld bidet was difficult to switch off, some power sockets didn't seem to work, nor did bathroom mirror light. I stayed on a Saturday night, and the hotel was full, so with dynamic pricing it was a bit on the expensive side.

Overall the stay was great. It was our first hotel after arriving in Sri Lanka and made for a good start of our vacation. The location was nice and a lot of nice places were within walking distance. The staff spoke English well and was very friendly. Breakfast and the restaurant here was phenomenal. The swimming pool was large enough for a large crowd and had a very nice view of both the ocean and city itself. The Negombo beach is not suitable for swimming and having a pool was great. We did not try out the spa.

The wall socket the electric kettle was plugged into was faulty and we had to push the plug in while using the kettle.

The hotel had a good selection of fruits for breakfast. However for a vegetarian all round the menu was a struggle. The hotel driver did a great job was super kind and patient, taking us around explaining touristy stuff and caring about our well being. The spa bath in the room was beautiful, the view balcony space extra big...loved loved it!

The WIFI was a very big disappointment from the first day and given we paid for the ocean suite I expected better. The carpet in the ocean suit was smelling dump probably coz of the humid but the room was beautiful all round. The elevator was slow as it was busy and only one lift is available for guests.

Room really nice and clean and big and really comfortable bed for sri lanka. We had a good night there. Breakfast was good too. All in all good except of the double booking at the beginning.

They double booked our room on booking and wanted to send us away as the only room left was a more expensive one and it was evening and i have asked if we can discuss it with the manager as upon arrival nobody told us there is a double booking and we did not want search for a new room. So after speaking to the manager we got a free upgrade.

This is one of our favorite hotels in Negombo because the rooms are large and the beds are super comfortable. The breakfast buffet has great variety including local and western foods as well as a good assortment of fruits.

The service in the restaurant has declined since last year. We had to ask for coffee/tea several times. Last year they were more on top of such things. Also, last year when we returned to the hotel 3 times we were given a complimentary fruit plate. This year we probably stayed here 5 times... no fruit plate. Petty, I know, but... Its still one of our favorite hotels in Negombo.

Large room, very bright, airy and comfortable. Exceptionally comfortable beds. Lovely pool area and good service. At check-in we were given a welcome drink and a chilled facewipe which was badly needed after a long journey in the heat. Within walking distance of lots of little shops and restaurants. Good area to stay on the last night as so close to airport.

Very high taxes on food and drink. I think we were charged roughly 30,% whereas every other hotel we stayed in was only 10%. There are only about 8 sunloungers around the pool. The beach behind the hotel was quite littered, there are no sunbeds.

The hotel is localized next to the beach, there are many restaurants and bars around - along the street and at the beach. The beach in Negombo is not the most delightful I have ever seen though... The hotel is nice, so are the rooms. Some off them have a little balcony, some don't and you can't even open the window. The breakfast was delightful with the view - the restaurant is localized on the highest floor. The food is good, the chef is very nice, he likes to chat with the guests. But do not expect to get a lasagne like in Italy when you order one ;) The dish was very good, but an average Italian could get offended it was called lasagne :D But they had very good bruschetta, pasta, garlic bread etc, and it was the only place in SL we got pesto :) Asian food was very good too. There is a nice bar with a pool on the roof, it's also a nice place to rest.

There was not really nice smell in the hall - not always though. We could not open the window in our room. The bathroom was quite tiny, but big enough.
