EVERYTHING. 1- The hotel is amazing. Very quiet. 2- The food is really good and not too expensive. 3- The rooms are like a dream come true. 4- The swimming pool is big and you can easily go to the beach. 5- The best was the staff, from the recepcionist (who was really interested in learning some Spanish and always available for us) to the waitresses. This hotel was a true highlight of our 8-day journey across Sri Lanka! Set in a stunning location, it offered breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. The pool was spotless and inviting, making it a fantastic spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options that satisfied every palate. What truly stood out, however, was the hotel’s design—it was by far the most beautiful and thoughtfully designed place we stayed in during our trip. Every detail reflected elegance and comfort, creating a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a mix of style, comfort, and exceptional hospitality!

This hotel is an absolute gem in Sri Lanka. We've visited several places, and this is our favorite. It's beautifully located, allowing you to walk for miles along the beach without encountering anyone. The beach is pristine, free of litter, unlike some other places in Sri Lanka. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The service is excellent, and the restaurant offers a delicious and diverse menu. There are plenty of excursion options nearby, with stunning wetlands and lagoons perfect for bird watching. This wonderful place has been crafted with great care. Interestingly, it is also very affordable compared to other hotels. It's definitely worth traveling a bit further to enjoy this exceptional and beautiful spot. An absolute must-visit. I highly recommend it to everyone.

I only wish this hotel was +18 only. The kids were not a big issue, bus since its a boutique hotel with one pool, sometimes there were some kids playing a bit loud. Put its just our preference not to be around kids.

The only downside was the weak Wi-Fi, which made it difficult to work remotely. However, if you're visiting for leisure, this might not be a concern.

Beatifully located on the beach, lovely staff always with a smile on their faces ready to sort out anything you ask for. Nice rooms and comfortable beds. Lovely yoga sessions free of charge every morning. A great place to go for relaxation.

Strong currents and big waves so no swimming in the ocean unless you’re a good swimmer. It’s a bit off so you don’t have many options for eating or activities nearby, but the pool area is very nice. There’s a great restaurant on the other side of the road from the hotel though and the hotel reception will help you to organise trips to Ella, Yala, Mirissa etc.

We had the suite, with the large terrace, directly on the beachfront. It was simple amazing! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room service can be arranged by whatsapp. The menu and drinks have enough variety for 5-6 days. The beach is very quite and beautiful. Highlight was diner at the beachfront. Also, the spa menu gives your some good options for relaxation.

Only minor remarks. Unfortunately, breakfast does not have that many options. Going into the sea is possible, but the sea is rough and it is not advised to venture too far in. At around 10 p.m. (after diner) you don't have any options to go for a drink or walk into town. That is OK, since it is an ocean retreat, but if you want to experience more nightlife, you should choice differently.

The location, it felt incredibly remote with no other property along the entire strip of beach. Wide sandy, clean beach - the waves are very powerful (no life guards), the sunsets were divine. Very few people minus the stray beach dogs The rooms were large with a view onto the beach and pool. Comfortable, spacious, ideal for a small family Whilst the spa was simple and no frills I had an amazing massage. I would happily head back.

Prices are in USD, making food and drinks fairly expensive based on LKR prices - and given the location (which I loved) there were no other options close by. The menu could have benefited from a few more choices.

We arrived tired after nightfall and received a warm welcome and (on request) a super swift check-in. The food selection at dinner was delightful; breakfast left us a little less enthused. The rooms are sizeable and most have at least partial ocean view. The spa may be small but offers a great selection of treatments; private yoga classes are available on request... The staff is wonderfully attentive and the express laundry service was above and beyond... A birdwatching sanctuary is in the immediate vicinity...

This property's beach location is unparalleled, even though, as older website photos reveal, the adjacent land blocks are gradually being developed and the original green areas between the pool and ocean appear to have altogether disappeared...

The property meets expectations, offering a peaceful and serene environment with exceptional privacy. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, and the staff were incredibly friendly and always eager to help.

I felt the restaurant could benefit from offering a bit more variety. The food itself was good, but given the distance from nearby cities, dining at the hotel is often the most convenient option. While the need to pre-order ensures the dishes are fresh, it also limits the menu options and can be inconvenient if plans change unexpectedly.
