The room was comfortable and pleasant. Staff were friendly and helpful. Retaurant food was very good. Quite close to the beach. If you are interested in turtle watching, this property is very close to the conservation group at the beach.

a/c in the room, and position, just 2 minutes walk to Rekawa beach and Turtle centre. The evening there with "turtle experience" is great ! fruit juice welcome drink good mattress with mosquito net, normal bathroom, hot shower

no swimming pool, but we went to Buckingham Place, next door... no stairs to rooms, and when it's very hot...

Family run. Great location near turtle conservation. We were greeted with fresh papaya juice. The room was spacious with mosquito nets and AC. The breakfast the next morning was fantastic - fresh fruit, tea/ coffee and rotti with Dahl. Everyone was very friendly and attentive.

The bathroom could have been cleaner, lots of bugs and a frog at one stage.

This place is very nice, calm and cosy. Owners are very nice people who do their business with heart and respect with others. They are very polite, kind and professional. They also have restaurant and I can say that it was one of the best meals which I ate in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was amazing with many fruits. The prices are ok. Rooms are clean. There is also hot water in a shower :D. Beautiful beach is close but with big waves. We used their Tuk tuk service, too.

Turtle Paradise was in an amazing location beside Rekawa turtle beach. It had the friendly atmosphere of a hostel, but also had private rooms with super comfortable king sized beds and en suite bathroom. We ate at the hotel both nights, dinner cooked by the lady of the family. Very delicious and cheap. Her son drove us to our next stop. Altogether, incredibly helpful and so lovely sitting in the dining room/ living room playing board games and chatting with other travellers. Would highly recommend.

No tea or coffee in bedroom.

Lovely rooms with clean, comfy beds and a balcony, lovely staff who made amazing home cooked meals! Could see loads of birds from here and overall a really nice place in this area

The location is far, mainly stayed for Rekawa beach and turtle project which we later found out is unethical so didn’t go. it’s not the property’s fault of course, just to note! We still enjoyed the secluded beach and peaceful vibes

This is a pretty homestay 200 metres from the beach. The area of the beach the turtles come ashore. This is not a swimming beach. It is a beautiful, wild beach with sand that you sink into as you walk. Loud, booming waves you can hear from the homestay. We had a very nice room with a big, private balcony. Lots of birds and squirrels, sometimes monkeys, come to visit. We stayed 7 glorious days. Most people stay one or two; just coming for the turtles. We liked the peace, the village life, the glorious wild beach and our lovely hosts.

Wifi works very well in the comfortable, welcoming dining area, not very good in the rooms or on our balcony. Not sure why the description includes fireplace. Didn't see one anywhere.

the property is located in walking distance near a beautiful beach. it is very clean, the room has a nice panorama view and the stuff was very friendly. they offered a healthy breakfast including fruits, eggs and pancakes.

the internet connection could have been better. the communication with a part of the stuff was more complicated because of little english knowlegde.

The architecture was wonderful. The hotel felt that you were in a tree house in the middle of the jungle. It was brilliant. Our room was lovely and clean and the air conditioning was good. The sitting out terraces on each floor are a great place to relax in the shade and the top roof terrace is the place to watch the sunset over the lagoon The inclusive breakfast was excellent. Coffee, fruit platter and different Sri Lankan curry every day. Evening meal was good too. The location of hotel is one of the best for visiting the turtle watch. Just a minute away by foot. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

Nothing to dislike whatsoever.

Perfect location for watching the turtles at night. Very peaceful and quiet location away from the main tourist areas. Lots of local eateries serving amazing food. The hotel itself served amazing food and even baked a cake to celebrate my son's birthday. The hosts were lovely and very helpful.

We had a few power cuts on the first day but this seemed to sort itself out for subsequent nights.
