Stupendous views and a decent breakfast.

Rules galore detracts from the, perhaps, valid intentions: No smoking or alcohol signs everywhere isn't a warm welcome, especially to anyone wanting a cold one to celebrate a great day on the panoramaweg.

The view from the balcony was fantastic. They ordered gluten free bread rolls for breakfast especially for me and the other food was good to either plenty of options. The bus stop is right outside their door. The bed was comfortable and water pressure very good. Easily accessible by bus (Postauto 101) from Interlaken and 10min connection to Beatenberg cable car station.

The only restaurant that I could find (that was open on the evening I checked) was 5min by bus and then a very very steep 15min walk away. The area was quiet but the walls and floors are pretty thin so you can hear all your neighbours

The hotel is located on a hill over Interlaken. You may reach Interlaken in 10-15 min, driving along a beautiful scenic road. There is also a bus connection, I do not know how frequent it is. Staff is very kind, at least compared with the Swiss standards ...

I had a single room, the bathroom is very tiny with WC and shower, and the basin is outside in the main room. The choice for breakfast is limited, with no hot dishes.

The hotel is located at a very good location. You can see the valley and lake if you select the right room. The staff is amazing. I love their hospitality. No smoking and drinking inside the hotel. The staff was helpful to warm our porridge. The bus stop to catch bus for Interlaken is right outside the hotel.

Microwave, mini freeze and electric kettle are not available in the rooms. The breakfast options are limited but they agreed to warm our porridge everyday :).

Absolutely love the breakfast quality, fantastic view, location, very clean rooms, good condition, easy with public transportation, few steps from view point. Stayed at that place a year ago also.

Bunch of Chinese or Korean groups who made your stay uncomfortable as they screaming like crazy at corridor early morning, screaming at evening when back, bumping the doors, at breakfast room uncomfortable to seat when they make so loud talk non stop. So….. such type of guest makes your stay uncomfortable and provide discomfort if you are searching for a quiet relaxing vacation…. Unfortunately … but Property and the stuff are very good

Never underestimate the difference your accommodation choice can make. Very welcoming and supportive staff. Luma, Anette and Abhi made this trip unforgettable. Thank you. I felt at home. Luma thank you for encouraging me to drive in the snow I wouldn't have done it without you, Abi you're simply the best Chef. Anette you are too friendly to be true. I will always carry you all in my memory. Hotel is spacious and warm, you won't feel cold. It has a lift which is very handy. Impressive view. If the view is important to you staying a bit further is necessary. Good quality towels and bed sheets. Free parking. The food is fresh and very well prepared. You don't need to go anywhere to get a nice meal. It is a smoking and alcohol free Hotel. And I support that. Thank you so much. I feel recharged.

I stayed at the hotel instead of hiking the first day. That means, I was so comfortable in my hotel room I didn’t even want to leave. I stayed on the lounging chair outside to get some breeze and sunlight and I think I had a little nap. Breakfast was excellent! One of the best and softest scrambled egg I tasted.

I am by myself so I have both of the pillows and comforters all to myself, but I wish they were thicker and fluffier, that would make so much difference. I agree with some reviews that the walls are thin, you can hear noises from the other rooms especially kids. But at least for me, I didn’t give it much mind. I can sleep with noise just fine. And I understand that the building was probably built way back when, so it wasn’t fully concrete yet or sound proofed.

I loved this hotel so much, that I cancelled my accommodation elsewhere and returned to this hotel only a week after I checked out - it was, by far, the highlight of my 28-day road trip through Italy, France and Switzerland. The beautiful rooms, breathtaking views from the balcony, and the peace and quiet in the charming village of Beatenberg, will compel you to come back, again and again. What makes this hotel stand out from the rest is the kind and attentive staff - I have never experienced quite such a feeling of "being at home" in any of the hotels I have stayed in before - this hotel is very special. I was fortunate to receive a room upgrade (room with balcony) on both occasions, and was permitted a very late check-out so that I could spend some more time relaxing in my room. I enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant on New Year's Eve and, upon my return to the hotel a week later, the kind and very hospitable owner offered me dinner on the house, which was again absolutely delicious - every single dish was so tasty. The friendly chef went out of his way to ensure that the guests' dietary requirements could be accommodated. The warmth and kindness that I experienced from the lovely manager (Annette), the owner, the gentleman at reception, the chef, and the cleaning lady, made my stay just so much more enjoyable and made me feel as though I was part of the big happy family at Parkhotel Beatenberg. This makes such a huge difference, especially if you're a solo traveller more than 12,000 km away from home. If you're not 100% sure which accommodation to book, don't even hesitate - book this hotel without a doubt, you won't regret it!

Mind blowing location of the hotel, on a hill overlooking the Jungfrau, Eiger, Monach, mountains and Lake Thun. Breath taking scenes from the hotel. We could see the snow clad mountains, clouds below us, paragliders enjoying their day and sheeps and cows grazing in the nearby fields. Good connectivity, you can take a 20 mins car ride to Interlaken or bus that stops right in front of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent, good spread and tasty food. Friendly and helpful staff, specially folks at reception and housekeeping staff. Rooms were large and spacious. Lovely wooden theme of the family room, bedrooms. Me and my family enjoyed our stay at the hotel as much as we enjoyed the beautiful Switzerland. Highly recommended hotel if you want a breathtaking view of the Swiss Alps peaks and Lake Thun at the same time.
