It's such a cosy and lovely place ran by loving, caring and friendly people! Great Shower and warm room with afternoon sun and double glazed window. Gave us a kettle and mugs when we asked. I had the best Gluten free rolls specially prepared for me every morning. Nothing was too much trouble to ask - truly a gem...quiet and central in the lovely medieval town. We had two rooms of the whole floor which was very considered arrangement.

If I had to pick something the bathroom was on the small side for the two of us, but not a big issue at all.

It was very well located, and the staff there is REALLY great! They were so kind and accommodating during my stay. I had a wonderful time.

My room was quite small, that is part of the concept so it didn’t bother me. The only real problem was that there is nowhere to put a large suitcase. Fortunately I had a queen bed, so as a solo traveler, I could share the bed with my suitcase. For me this was just an inconvenience, but could be a problem for a couple.

Very good breakfast. Nice and helpful staff. Nicely renovated hotel. The owner tried to find us a cooler room as our room was extremely hot due to 35degC outside on that day.

Our room was on the noisy main road. Small village but so much traffic late at night on a Saturday. We found the price of almost 200chf a little expensive for a rather small room. But I guess that these were swiss prices...

No Parking @location for more than 15m which is very frustrating when cold and raining. nearest parking is about 7m walk when parking spot is available.

The room AC should be replaced by a regular fan, it's noisy and doesn't do much. There's no parking.

First of all they are absolutely pleasant and lovely. The place is smack in the old town. I was there for one night as my son had a chess tournament nearby. I arrived after dropping him off early and they made the room ready in 20 mins hours before check-in time. We had an amazing meal in the restaurant. After we left I realized I had left my apple pen in our room. They mailed it to me immediately. I cannot recommenced this place more. Really wonderful owner/staff/ chef. Thank you so so much.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Rive Sud. Even before our check-in the staff were very communicative and responded to each of my queries. They were very flexible and accommodating. The food at the restaurant, while expensive (± 120 CHF for 2 people with entrees, drinks, and dessert), was really good. Since we are vegetarians, the chef went out of his way to make us a lovely meal. The complimentary breakfast was also good. On the whole, we loved our stay here and I'd recommend it to anyone.

The location was perfect and easy to find in the pretty medieval town. Food was delicious and the good continental breakfast was served in a charming room. Staff were very pleasant and the room, although small, was comfortable and perfectly adequate for me. I hope to return when the next Artichoke event happens or in the summer when the lakeside activities are open.
