What a beautiful hotel it is! Beautiful building with stunning rooms, amazing staff that always greats you with a smile, great atmosphere and top notch restaurant. We loved everything about it. We came by car and hotel offers free parking for the guests. It’s also located a stone throw away from the train station. Frutigen is a beautiful, scenic Swiss town, with amazing people and atmosphere. I had the best Wienerschnitzel I’ve ever eaten. I loved it so much that I ordered it again just a day after! We’ll be definitely coming back. We already miss Feutigen and Hotel National.

Location is beautiful, quiet village with lots of restaurants and cafes. Easily found free parking on the street, although there is only one or two free public parking space in front of the hotel. Staff where initially friendly and helpful. Room was beautifully presented and decorated, comfortable, with magnificent views to the hills around. Hotel got its own confectionery with tasty sweets. Lots to do in between Kandersteg to Interlaken and beyond.

Unfortunately breakfast wasn't satisfactory, not a lot to choose from, which is free. You have to pay extra for some cooked food ex. scrambled egg. Ordered the mentioned scrambled egg and the staff brought it to the wrong table. When asked there where nice and apologetic, but there was the owner of the hotel siting right next to me where i asked the ladies for my breakfast, he could not care less as it seemed.

The breakfast was buffet style. It includes hard boiled eggs, but omlets are at an extra pay. Nice variety of cheeses, cereals, jams, granola etc. Dinner was very good, althogh somewhat expensive. The menu also offers a nice Thai variety. The room is very spacious. The parking is right across the street. The Coop supermarket is 5 minutes by foot if you need anything. Last, but not least, there is an in-house patisserie which offers excellent pastries, sweets and chocolates.

The only little thing was missing were some hangers in the bathroom.

The staff are very lovely, they are ready to any help or question. The room was enough for 3 persons and its was clean. The location was good, it's was far maximum 1 hour from our activities.

There was no AC on the room, and it’s was very hot weather on August.

Hotel National is a very cozy hotel managed by a family of very nice people who take care of all little details. We spent one night in the Deluxe Junior Suite at the second floor and the room was very big and nicely furnished, a successful mix of tradition and modern style. The bed was so big and comfortable that made it hard to go out in the morning. We had a delicious dinner at the hotel's restaurant which is a nice combination of swiss and thai meals. I would surely recommend the Hotel National to anyone who want to spend sometime in a little nice village and explore the region with all its amazing hiking trails.

Very good staff, in a beautiful location, and comfortable room with nice balcony looking over the Alps.

Located a bit of a drive from the main area sites. Parking is limited and constrained.

The hotel is warm, quiet and cozy. Frutigen is a small town, there are barely no tourists and is close to lot of the highlight places of the region. Loved the stay there, we also went to the restaurant and was a really nice experience. They have two Tesla destination chargers, although the Tesla website only lists one as of today.

Depending on the hour it can be tricky to park right on the electric charger spot because some people don’t give a thing about it. I just had this problem once and managed to move the car after a while, but I’m pretty sure the staff will help you out if you have any issue with this.

Beautiful setting! close to the train station. The property has a terrace and lounges that feature the amazing Mountain views. the staff were attentive, friendly and helped us with activities in the area. The hotel kitchen is amazing. we enjoyed the gourmet Thai menu; they also have more traditional Swiss food.

Comfortable hotel with very good restaurant and patisserie. Balcony had awesome view of mountains. Nice not having to go out to find somewhere for dinner.

The bathroom was a little small and dated.

Very kind staff (actually the owner), cosy and modern rooms and high class restaurant with an astonishing menu served with even higher quality and taste

Actually everything was perfect! The only thing is maybe parking possibility where we just had the last and very tight spot. However, I have to admit that I didn’t ask for other parking spots except those I saw in the first place.
