Clean. Confortable. In front of cable car

Not flexible regarding dinner. I called and said gps says I will be there 20.31. Hotel said find another place to eat. Last order 20.30. We ate at Adler. Delicious and when we arrived people were still eating and drinking at our hotel. It was stressful. I went directly from work in Geneva and had not stop trying to make on time

Wonderful location, so tranquil and brilliantly placed for getting the gondola to Lake Oeschinensee, which turned out to be one of my top hikes of all time - wow! Hotel Ermitage is super cute. The restaurant is lovely and had plenty of delicious vegetarian choices for me. Breakfast is great. The views are amazing. We went into the hot pot after a strenuous day hiking which was so much fun and perfect for soothing the muscles! We stargazed at the beautiful night sky from the hotel car park with the tinkling of cow bells from the field. All the staff were delightful. Thank-you everyone for our wonderful stay!

Perfect location right next to the gondola up to Oeschinensee and a lovely view down the valley. Good food in the restaurant and a nice breakfast buffet, just lacking a little in choice.

Tiny bathroom with a daft shower arrangement (cubicle-filling rain shower or waist-high mounted hand-held shower head). No lift (and no offer of help with luggage) from car park a floor below reception up to 2nd floor bedroom (though it was worth it for the view). Electric car charging was outsourced and expensive, with a "Parking charge" so you couldn't really leave it charging overnight.

Great location, staff are friendly and view is amazing. Very simple to locate from the train station with a 10 minute walk. The location is right next to the cable carts up to the mountain for the perfect hike and spectacular view. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Not a dislike but for other travellers to understand, this is Switzerland so in general everything is quite expensive and most places do not have air conditioning. Think of it as you are paying for the chance to see a beautiful clean country and not on a unit transaction basis where you will think food is expensive etc.

Stunning views. Just stunning. Property is "modern Swiss", spacious and flexible. Loads of space inside with balconies to allow you to enjoy the views and the fresh air. Hotel staff very friendly and informative. Guest card (KanderCard) available to all guests for local discounts.

Because it is right next to the gondola to OeschinenSee the outside area is a bit busy and the traffic up and down the road might be a little challenging for some. But the property is worth the trouble.

Amazing location right opposite the cable car and you get a guest card which gives you 20% off the cable car tickets. Ample parking and you can leave your car after you check out if you want to enjoy the area for longer like we did. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and the staff were really helpful. Would 100% recommend and would stay again if we return to the area.

The blinds let in a lot of light, that’s our only complaint!

Typically Swiss Hotel Ermitage was indeed a typically Swiss hotel, which was exactly what I was hoping for. The room was very neat, had a nice balcony with a great view (see picture) and the bed was perfect. Besides the great breakfast I had a surprisingly good dinner at the hotel restaurant and was impressed with both the food and the staff, who were not only very capable, but also sociable and provided great (local) tips. I was also pleasantly surprised with the idea of a central minibar (with coffee/tea, soda, fruit juice and alcoholfree beer) on the floor instead of in each room individually. Works perfect!

The price of my stay was rather high, but is to be expected for this perfect location (walking distance from trainstation, free parking spaces available and literally next to the cable car to Oeschinen lake)

Our stay at the hotel was fantastic, primarily due to its incredible location. The views and accessibility were perfect, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. We also booked the hot tub, which was a wonderful addition and truly enhanced our overall experience. The on-site restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The food was absolutely delicious, and we suggest considering it for lunch or dinner. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Reception lady was very welcoming. Bar staff and restaurant service was very helpful Room was super clean. Beautifully presented. Bathroom was spacious. Views were lovely. Close to the cable car and hiking. Restaurant at the hotel was lovely. Dinner was delicious. Breakfast was included in our stay it was the best we have had in our Switzerland holiday. Staff very friendly. Rate the whole experience 10 /10

Every thing was fantastic

We had an apartment for a family of 9 members. The location is directly opposite to the cable car of Oeschinen Lake. We just walked to the cable car station and went up to the Oeschiland and Oeschinen lake for some snow activities during January.

The kitchen does not have microwave. The apartment has 2 staircases which can be tricky for kid of 2 years old, a child stair protection grill can be useful.
