Location was absolutely amazing and Chantel was great. She was very responsive to our messages and gave good directions regarding how to access her place. She even let us in early to give us the tour and show us around.

The wifi was spotty which was not a big deal. Be prepared the place is small, especially the bathroom but this was not a problem either because everything else was so great. The size of the space almost just added to the quaint atmosphere

I had a lovely 3 night stay and found the room to be clean and comfortable. The view was incredible and considering it is right in the middle of the old village it was extremely quiet. I loved how the property had been renovated in a way that kept a lot of the old features, giving it a real charm. Chantal was very friendly and helpful, making checking in and out very simple.

We loved everything about our room! It was small, but so beautiful and had everything we needed. Right in the heart of the old town of Gruyères, and still very peaceful inside. Chantal was amazing and checking in and out was a breeze. The bed was big and comfortable, there was a coffee machine, toaster, and a great bathroom. Parking nearby was also easy and not too expensive.

This is a pleasing, well decorated room hosted by a kind, fun, and helpful woman. The bed was large and comfortable. The shower had good hot water. We appreciated having a small fridge, electric kettle, and espresso machine with capsules. The location is wonderful, right in the heart of this small historic town, lively by day and quiet at night. Window has a nice view. We loved the scenic mountain hiking on Moleson.

Chantal was very generous with her time and "voluntarily" helped us with parking fine problem and she fixed the problem for us. We are very grateful for that. The room was charming, however it is in a very old building so the room was a bit small, as expected. But is in the heart of old town, great location.

We loved the location right in the middle of the old town with beautiful scenery out of every window. The rooms had old wooden beams and the bed was a nice queen size. Each room had a separate bathroom with a nice Swiss-made hair dryer.

This is not an issue with the property but the flies were a constant nuisance. We questioned the food from the restaurants in Gruyère due to the amount of flies in the evening.

We loved this property! Clean, comfy bed, well equipped kitchen and lovely owner, so close to the castle! Bus from railway station to the old town is a short distance, runs frequently and waits at the station. Beautiful views of a gorgeous area.

The location was incredible; so beautiful! lt is within the town fortified by castle walls and close to both the castle and the Maison de Gruyères. The Maison Cailler was only an hour walk away. The room was also very close to some beautiful nature views. Chantal was very welcoming and accomodating and speaks English well

It was all lovely! We had no problems.

It was very centrally located near the castle, shops and restaurants. The room was cozy and charming. Chantal was a great host. She payed special attention to details and made us feel right at home.

Awesome location, a cozy design (pictures are worse than the room in reality), and a very friendly owner. The location is also great.

Hard to pick something, I would add a humidifier/proper ventilation in the bathroom, as there is the smell of humidity.
