Loved the room design — very modern — and the location could not be better for someone traveling by train. Some people might be put off by the fact that the facility is not staffed 24 hours per day, and when I had a problem with the wifi, I was unable to get it rectified until the next day. But that that point, the staff member on duty went out of her way to address the problem. I would not hesitate to stay here again and absolutely would recommend it.

Getting connected to the wifi was definitely a problem. Fortunately, while this was a work trip, I was able to get by for a night. Otherwise, no complaints.

The hotel was next to the train station, which was extremely helpful. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. At one point, my key card stopped working to allow us to get into the building and our room. I called the contact number for the hotel found in the email. They answered immediately and one of the staff left her home minutes away to come let us in and get us a new key card. It was amazing! They also allowed us to store our bags there after we had checked out and we’re waiting for another train. Amazing staff!

The breakfast was awesome - according to my sweetheart; I had a triathlon compettition and had to leave early in the morning. The staff made sure to have "my" (small) breakfast ready earlier, awesome service! The location is very central right next to the train station, that fit our bill. The bed was exceptional, one of the most comfortable beds I have EVER had, and I slept in a LOT of hotel beds ;-) The staff was super friendly and very accomodating, mille grazie!

Great value for price, especially with breakfast included. The place was beautiful, spotlessly clean and clearly newly designed and decorated. Right next to the train station and 2 min walk from the lake. Everybody was really helpful before and during our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Tiny comment: it would be great to have some vegetables in the breakfast buffet and salt&pepper on the tables. But that’s really nitpicking, overall it was really great!

The room was nothing like j expected. It was way more comfortable and enjoyable. I loved that the place was quiet and relaxing while being close to the train station making it easy upon arrival and check out. However, it was a bit hard to find since it is kind of tucked behind the coffee shop.

It was hard to figure out how to use the light switches but staff was very kind to show me and help me understand.

We made a short city trip by train to Locarno and decided to stay conveniently close to the train station b/c of luggage etc. We were happy to have chosen to stay at the Binario 934. It's a cozy small boutique hotel. A warm and friendly welcome by the CEO and founder herself, a personal welcome note with some biscuits on the room ... a truly nice first impression. The room itself was facing the train station and the view wasn't as nice (given you're in Locarno) but the room is greatly sound proofed so no big noise. The room category was a bit misleading by booking.com, if I would have checked the hotels homepage I would have known better and opted for another category. The bathroom was very nice and was comfortable with a rain shower and amenities. All the little details including fresh flowers on each breakfast table, the cozy couch corner in the lobby etc etc ... they can really call themselves a boutique hotel. Overall we loved it and the friendliness and positive personality of the founding lady made it a very pleasant experience. As mentioned it's conveniently located right by the station, a stroll away from the center and the lake makes it a perfect choice for city trips. Breakfast choice is ok. However it is all very fresh and always refilled etc. We can highly recommend the Binario 934 if they keep up that great level of customer service. Great job well done.

Very quiet so don't worry about being so close to station. This and the Ticino card provided by hotel allowed us to take numerous day trips, and even go down to Lugano and back for dinner. Few minutes walk to lake, but don't stay here if you want a balcony and lake view. Good breakfast and helpful staff.

Room was 18m2 but modern, stylish and well set out so didn't feel cramped.

Loved our stay here. Very quiet but central location. The rooms are so well decorated and put together, spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. You can tell there was a lot of love and detail put into the design. Breakfast was always delicious and had many options. There isn’t hotel parking but we never once had a problem finding parking just outside. It does cost per hour but it’s very very affordable. To top it all off, the owner of the hotel is extremely hospitable and friendly and gave us the best recommendations. We would 100% stay here again.
