Quaint hotel in the Rhone valley which is situated in a good place to discover all that mother nature (and the Swiss) have to offer in the area. By car, foot or train. Very friendly owners with a passion for their job. The Hotel is comfortable and cozy with good facilities. The restaurant is superb with many locals frequenting it (which is always a good sign). The little village of Niederwald is like a fairytale village and very quiet. We loved it.

Not much, be aware you have to pay for parking in a parking lot about one minute walking away. Download the international parking app Easypark for no worries. (Parking is cheap luckily, 4 euros for a whole day)

The hotel is situated in a very small, but beautiful town. It's very well connected by train and with there are lots of outdoor activities to do nearby both in summer and winter. We had a room with a shared bathroom in the adjacent building, which was fully renovated recently and it looked great. There was one toilet and a full bathroom with shower to be shared between three rooms, so no problem with finding a free toilet. The hotel is also a restaurant, and we had a great dinner and tried their rösti and the local fondue-style cheese. Everything was delicious. Breakfast was also very good. There is free parking available at the train station, just a couple of minutes away by foot.

Super cute apartments nestled among the hills with a very nice view of the surroundings. Perfect for a stop over or a few days exploring the region. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and you could tell the love they pour into their property. We stayed in the perfectly maintained historical cabins which felt like a journey back in time. Breakfast was delicious and varied. Highly recommended!

The hotel is in a very small town with no other dining facilities than the hotel restaurant. Fortunately it was a good place for dinner. Our room was on the second floor (no elevator) of a very old building. It was fine for a one night stay. The town had many very old buildings which were interesting to see. Free parking.

The shared bathroom was shared by three rooms. We had people who took long times in the facility. It was not very convenient when we visited. Parking was a bit away from the hotel in a lot across from the train station. Fairly expensive for the quality of the accommodations with the shared bathroom.

Located in a small village, it was really great. Room was as expected and we ate at the restaurant, which was amazing. Great food and service! Breakfast was also quite decent!

Nice old house representative of the valley architecture., in the small old Niederwald village. Courtyard permitting relations among guests. Very good restaurant.

Modern and clean facilities. Good breakfast. Welcoming staff. Possibility for local dinner.

Shared bathroom

very nice Swiss house in a traditional Swiss village, very comfortable bed, very clean. it also has a good restaurant: try the « chouera » (potato pie) and he rhubarb cream. And visit the small museum dedicated to Mr. Ritz, the founder of the eponymous hotels. he was born in Niederwald.

Authentic mountain experience in the heart of a historical village, cozy wooden rooms with traditional low hanging ceilings that welcome you with their uncomplicated warmth and comfortable, restful sleep, with very good food prepared by the owner/chef in the intimate restaurant at the bottom of the stairs. All a few steps from bus and railway stops and the nordic skiing trail.
