Great location, comfortable room and great staff

Way location in Sa. Moritz! The rooms are fantastic! The food, restaurant staff, bar staff, and views are the best! They have a wonderful relationship with an activities company led by Stefano and he is excellent!! The spa was really nice (although some patrons don’t realize that it’s a quiet place) .

The front desk staff were not the most attentive at times.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Steffani. The staff is great and super helpful. The hotel itself has a lot of history but is well kept. The rooms have the Alpine style charm but are still modern. There is a restaurant, a bar as well as a spa. Parking is right in front of the door. The hotel is in the very center of St. Moritz. My room had a balcony and a beautiful view over the town, the lake and the mountains behind. This is very personal: But I loved the attention to detail when it comes to decoration and the fresh flowers in the lobby.

The room was a nice size and comfortable. The hotel was lovely, and the staff super friendly. The hotel's breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of choices. The location would be easy to get to, it is not far from the train station, but it is uphill and taxis are available from the train station. We did utilize the hotel's shuttle to the train station upon check out. There is a decent restaurant on site, but it is also a short walk to any shopping mart.

The hotel and staff were great, but St. Moritz is quite boring if you're not skiing or in to high-end designer shopping.

Everything was wonderful, the facilities and the room. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially the blonde lady at the reception who unfortunately I didn't ask her name. One thing is certain, if we return to St. Moritz, we will only choose your hotel. Also, the breakfast was very rich and the entire hotel was spotlessly clean. Thanks also to Fabio at the restaurant for being so kind. And thank you for the free transition to the train station

The best thing about this hotel is it’s staff: incredibly hospitable team of hard working people. They spoke mostly Italian, some pretty good English but for us studying Italian for the last 5 years it was a treat to practice this beautiful language . We liked the location: 5 minutes walk ( uphill though in the morning with skis) to the funicular that takes you up the mountain for skiing. Not many options in St. Moritz like that ( unless of course one is quite wealthy to rent a château with butlers). The spa area is good, with sauna nice and toasty, cool water pool. Very good buffet breakfast. If you ask, they will make you an omelette, but wouldn’t offer on their own. Coffee, cappuccino, macchiato: all excellent, like it should be in Italy , at times you forget that you are in German speaking Switzerland. Comfortable mattress.

The building is old , has tired decor: probably 70s , at times shows it’s age: the door handle to the bathroom detached when we tried opening the door, the staff fixed it though the same day. The shower has almost no water pressure, it is difficult to adjust the temperature, the fixture on the wall holding shampoo is detaching itself . There was black mold on the tiles,again we asked to clean it , it was done. It is not possible to adjust the temperature in the room: no thermostat: at times too cold, at times too hot. Pillows were not comfortable, but that is a personal taste and habit.

Location is very good with walking distance to lake, shops and funicular. We were upgraded to a top floor suite room 617 which was lovely, but there are 2 full flights of stairs to access this room. We were given a choice to have this room or keep Junior Suite. Suite 617 was huge and has lovely views, modern bathroom and great sunroom.

The breakfast selection was OK with limited hot selection and very old fashioned decor. Service was quick and friendly but breakfast could have offered some side extras with the egg dishes such as grilled tomatoes, mushrooms or hash browns.

I honestly didnt like that room service is in the morning from 1130,we were at breakfast until 10 in the morning,and we ate good because there is a variety of thing to eat and we ate bacon also..we got thirsty around 1010 and I called room service and they told me i have to wait 20 min untill their start..I honestly paid without a doubt for the hotel and they ask me to wait 20 min to drink water..I DRANK IT FROM THE SINK

The hotel facilities and room were great. For a small fee we were upgraded to a much larger room. They put our car in the garage because of the heavy snowfall.

I wish we could set the temperature in our room, and I wish we had a heater in the bathroom as well. For the room that size it felt a bit cold. But some people might like it.
