We loved everything about our experience at Hotel Parnass. We spent 7 nights in Zermatt leading up to New Year’s Day and our accommodations could not have been better. Adeel, his family, and his team provided second to none service with a genuine and personal touch. The hotel is spotless with AMAZING unobstructed views of the Matterhorn. Location could not be beat, right in the heart of all the dining and shopping that the gorgeous village of Zermatt has to offer. Being right next to a ski lift bus stop (5 minute ride to Matterhorn Express Lift) and a short 7 minute walk to the Gornergrat rail station and the main train station was incredibly convenient. All of this at a reasonable price by Zermatt standards made for an incredible experience during our family vacation. Thank you Adeel and team for helping us achieve a dream vacation come true!

Our stay at Hotel Parnass was wonderful. It is centrally located to the main area of the city. One of the main lift areas (Sunegga) is an 8 minute walk from the hotel. The Cog Railway station is about a ten minute walk to the station, however, there is a bus stop near Sunegga. The hotel rooms are very nice if you just need a clean, comfortable place to stay; it is not a 5 star hotel. There is a nice sitting area with coffee available all the time. A very nice breakfast is served, which is included in the price of the room. The rooms are clean and well kept. Most importantly, I found the best thing about the hotel is that all of the staff were friendly, attentive, and most helpful in all respects. If you don't need all of the amenities of a 5 star hotel, I highly recommend the Hotel Parnass. Should I return to Zermatt, I will stay there again.

For my needs, there was nothing lacking, thus, there is nothing negative I can say.

The room-with-a-view was unbelievable! The Matterhorn view was directly out the balcony door. It was so majestic! Also, the location was unbeatable! We walked straight to Sunnega tram every morning! The ski/boot drying room were a real plus. We also really like the breakfast! Last thing, John at the desk went out of his way to make us feel welcome and to be helpful! He is part of the reason that we would return back to this property.

It would have been nice if some of the breakfast items were rotated for some variety or if hot food options were available.

Incredible balcony view of Matterhorn. Comfortable, grassy patio area with afternoon sun facing the Matterhorn. Great breakfast with good service (free coffee is a big deal in Switzerland). Efficient elevator. Very helpful receptionist. Community refrigerator in basement. Convenient location for walking from train station - 7 mins on ~same elevation.

Shower on the small side (common in European Hotels). Located on busy intersection but not that big of deal.

We had an amazing stay here at Hotel Parnass. They had such a nice commercial gesture towards us that completely changed positively the dynamic of our trip. The room was nice, and the breakfast amazing. They have a cute space where everyone can gather to read, talk, or play games. They also provide good meal deals with some restaurants. We went to one of their suggestions and it was great! The location is also perfect! Really a very pleasant experience overall! We will be back. Thank you!

This is the most amazing location I've ever stayed in. Full facilities, huge room, large balcony, and the ability to step outside to observe the Matterhorn mountain at any moment. The crew extended a warm welcome to everyone. When they discovered I am Thai, He delivered even more remarkable services. Thank you for assisting us in numerous ways that we have requested. Breakfast here is wonderful. Accommodation is close to the rail station. Even though it is July, the weather is cool, so the lack of air conditioning in the room is not a problem.

It’s not spacious but warm，near the main training station, location just in between station for Gornergrat and Glacier paradise in walking distance. The services are excellent! Has a great view to see Matterhorn from room and breakfast. Mr Gin offers a great service, warm-hearted, who is diligent and energetic that was admired!

Location is absolutely perfect - so easy to walk to any of the valley stations (Sunnegga, Gornergrat, Furi) or the main train station. Room was small and basic, but comfortable, modern, and very clean. Staff were so welcoming and helpful.

Would have been nice for breakfast to start a little earlier (or have a takeaway option) for guests heading out on early hikes. Room got a little stuffy, but that's pretty typical for a European hotel in the summer and it's nothing an open window couldn't fix.

- Would recommend staying here. - Amazing view of the Matterhorn if the weather is kind. We could see sunrise hitting the Matterhorn from the room which was convenient. - Excellent location. Close to everything in town including restaurants, supermarket, train station - Very clean and comfortable .

- Has a European style shower head where you need to hold it by hand with a weird placement on the middle of the wall. - heating turns off early in the evening so it was a bit cold one night. Seems this is a setting the hotel has across all rooms as we couldn't turn the heating back on (unless we just couldn't work it out!). Would be good for staff to inform about this at check-in

Lovely establishment on the river easily reached on foot from the train station. Welcoming and friendly staff. Comfortable bed, amazing views of surrounding mountains. Charming breakfast room with views of the Matterhorn to enjoy with the breakfast buffet. We were pleased with what an excellent value this was during a very busy weekend (ski season) and how surprisingly quiet it was!
