The room was modern, quiet, and very clean. The AC and shower worked well. The front desk staff were efficient and friendly (had to use Google translate with some older staff members who didn't speak English). The clothes washer and dryer on the 5th floor were fast and efficient ($50 in coins to use each one, plus $20 for washing powder from the front desk). The fitness room in the basement looked nice.

The room had a bad smell, which seemed to be coming from the drains in the bathroom (not the trash can). Running the bathroom fan continually seemed to help, but the fan is connected to the bathroom light, which made the room too bright if we kept it on at night. The hotel was a harder walk from the train station, with luggage, than we'd expected because the sidewalks in Chiayi aren't good for walking. Better to take a taxi ($100). The sign on the fitness room door said it didn't open until 9 a.m., which isn't good for a workout before breakfast. The breakfast foods were OK but didn't change from day to day; more fruit would be nice.

Clean room, comfortable bed, very friendly and helpful front desk staff, restaurant staff, and room service staff. Coin-operated laundry washer and dryer machines were very convenient on premise. I did not opt for the hotel's paid breakfast buffet option as the nearby local shops had better food options that were more to my taste. Convenient location that's less than 10 minutes driving distance to the Chiayi Rail Station. Hotel has a free parking lot, for those who opt to rent a car. Short walking distance to good breakfast, lunch, and dinner shops.

The staff was super helpful. We were by car and needed help finding the parking and the receptionist ran along the road to show us where it was! So nice really! The parking was free (which is great) but you do have to walk a bit (crossing 2 blocks) to go to it. The room was big and comfortable, with a big shower too. The location is great, near youbike station and a few minutes of walking to the night market! Free water in the lobby.

The staffs were really helpful and got us everything we needed. As we got to the room and the kettle was broken, he was trying to look for a new one but there was none so he took the kettle and brought us hot water. We also asked for the iron and there was none at the beginning and he came up to the room later with the iron. We were impressed. The room was clean and spacious. What surprised us more was the breakfast! It was nutritious and got many choices. Very impressive. Would recommend anyone that need a stay in Chiayi. Worth more than the price we paid.

The hotel's central location provides easy access to numerous city attractions, including the 'night market' and the popular shopping mall 'Showtime.' Additionally, there are a variety of restaurants in close proximity. The staff at the hotel is courteous. The hotel offers well-maintained facilities, including reliable WiFi.

The 4-hour difference between check-in and check-out times is quite inconvenient and seems rather unreasonable.

Room and bathrooms both big and can easily accommodate big luggages if you need to.

Property and location is ok. But this is my first time travel to Taiwan, if the road is better with proper pedestrian pathway. I would like it more since it is about 10 mins walk from the rail station to the hotel (without carrying luggage.) I only have a carry on luggage but with the road condition I slowed down.

Clean modern hotel with nice breakfast. Very helpful staff. Lively night market within a few minutes walk.

A difficult 15-20 minute walk from the train station - no bus and very limited sidewalk (scooters parked everywhere). The payment was reserved on my Credit card, and again when I checked in. Both are still pending. Hopefully only one will be charged.

The location is very central, 900m from the Chiayi station where we arrived and were supposed to take the bus to Alishan the next morning. Just one night in Chiayi and the hotel offered more than what I expected. Everything was perfect. Good breakfast with good coffee. Just one stop before we head to Alishan, but it was the most spacious room in my whole Taiwan trip with reasonable price.

The wifi connection wasn't stable, could have been better. The toilet doesn't have a heating system like other hotels I've seen in Taiwan, but I suppose it's the style in Taichung & Chiayi.

The front staff were phenomenal in helping us book and arrange a day tour of Alishan Mountain. Very responsive, informative, and with a sense of humour. Would highly recommend booking your stay at this hotel. Breakfast was included, with a good selection of Western and Taiwanese cuisine.

One of our rooms had some thermostat problems resulting in the room being colder than usual, which worked out okay for some members of our group. Otherwise, everything was great!

Very good restaurant, Tokiya (western meal with Japanese style management), available on 2/F. Food and service, considering the price, is exceptional. This was handy as we were too tired to venture outside.

The receptionists were not particularly helpful nor friendly, just told me to check in using the electronic kiosk. Yet parking key was handled separately and manually with a downpayment. Parking is about 100+m away from the hotel.
