Shower is good. breakfast is good. was drying my clothes and they actually put a dryer in the room to speed up the process when they were cleaning the room. Scheduled events in the hotel, eg. tribe performance, archery, yoga… guests can plan their time around. The hot spring area has a proper numbering system so guests will not be confused. In general, a comfortable stay for the family.

Perhaps the bathing area in the room for hot spring can be bigger to accommodate the number of guests in the room.

Room is spacious, bed is very comfortable, and the hot spring is excellent. Breakfast provides a great variety of options. Though some outdoor activities provided by the hotel were canceled due to rain, the evening show was resumed in the main lobby, and the show was very entertaining.

The only problem about the room amenity is the shower head. Not only the height cannot be adjusted, but also the angle is fixed. As the result the water only spray horizontally. So, in order to wash the body, I have to hand hold the shower head. Though the breakfast has many options, the quality can be improved somehow. Lastly, the cost for a room of two persons is slightly high.

The many spas with springhot water, inside and outside. The games inside and outside...the green lush location and the many dishes offered during morning and dinner - buffet style.We want to thank Louise(?), the girl who helped us sort our booking- we extended our stay by one day.

The rooms need a bit of a refreshing touch. While the majority of staff were pleasant and professional, we've encountered Margot at the reception who was unpleasant, not willing to help us sort our booking issues. If in the same situation, just approach any other staff, and you will get your issues sorted out efficiently.

The breakfast and dinner was astonishing, even thought they are serving as buffet, the quality of their food is the top. It equips different hot spring pool for different needs, I like the tranditional japenses style pool, my son loves the kids pool. The evening aboriginal show was amazing, there are dancing, singing ... and learning about their culture.

The Japenses style pool is small, need to wait for other to finish.

Everything was great at Royal Chipen. We wish the outdoor facilities were open but knew in advance they would not be. We really enjoyed the indoor spa, in-room hot tub, hot-pot for dinner and the wonderful breakfast.

Buffet is very nice, plenty of choices. The show during the night is exceptional. Public hot spring facility is very well. There are plenty of activities offered by hotel. It would be better if hotel could send activity information in advance, so that we won't miss it.

Everyting is great for relaxing.

In room coffee and tea were not up to par for a Nikko hotel. In room A/C - temp control confusing as usual!

The hot spring in room was good and convenient. And the concierge did good job.

The front desk had a long queues for checking in. The check-in process should be improved.

Bed is very comfortable and we enjoyed the hot springs bath very much.

The room is a bit outdated and the decor is not tasteful.
