Nice, freshly refurbished hotel, everything seemd new. Large rooms, clean bathroom with automatic Toto toilets, lots of different lighting options. Free parking outside of the hotel. Also you cannot beat the location it is inside Alishan National Park, so in the morning you can start your hike straight from the hotel. Reception spoke English.

They only turn on central heating when indoor temperature drops to 7 celsius, which is crazy, but they had electric blankets, and it was not very cold in the rooms despite outside temperature was close to 0 celsius at night. So it was not a big issue for me, but if you feel always cold in the winter, this is somethis guests should consider. It was my most expensive accomodation during my 2 week stay in Taiwan, but yes location is everything, it is inside ALishan National Park and you have to pay the premium price for that.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming! They gave us great suggestions on walking the trails and where to eat. The hotel has recently been renovated and is very well presented. The beds were very comfortable, and the hotel provided local tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast is a voucher for a local eatery which was plentiful and delicious local food. It felt very communal as most of the hotels in the area do the same for their guests. We would highly recommend staying in Alishan overnight to enjoy the sunset and sunrise, and to the Sea of Clouds. And we’d highly recommend this property. Thank you to the staff for such warm and friendly hospitality.

The hotel is very convenient to walk to trails/train station in Alishan, it is also close to other facilities as well. The room is clean and the view is decent. Staffs were very friendly, they are quite fluent in English, and were very helpful with our questions. The breakfast exceed our expectations, it is a buffet in Taiwanese style, very delicious. There is also a parking right in front of the hotel for those who drive.

The bathroom is small, and after taking a shower, the whole room gets wet. Although, they have a slipper available. The sound proof is not very good, if you are a light sleeper, it might be problematic, especially people here tends to wake up around 4-5 am for the sunrise.

Great location within the Alishan Recreation Area and only around a 5 min walk to Alishan Train Station. There is free parking outside the hotel. The shower and wifi worked well and the hotel looked quite new or newly refurbished compared to others in the area. Reception staff were very friendly. A van tour to watch the sunrise and a stargazing tour were offered in reception for a small fee. The room price was reasonable for it's location within the park. Note that you still have to pay for entry and parking on arrival at the recreational area, even if you are staying the night there.

The room was very compact, but we did book a "small double room", so I this was to be expected.

The staffs are very helpful and one of them speak English, she provided lots of information about how to spend the time within the park.

Shower room completely wet after shower, having difficulty to open the door. Water dispenser was right in front of our door, some guest getting water early at 5 am and having phone conversation right in front at the door step. The entrance door of the room was pretty tight for us when we tried to enter with backpack on our back. Breakfast provided at the restaurant was cold, we went to a different breakfast restaurant for a better food by paying ourselves.

We love every bit of it: nice building, modern amenities, super friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room with mountain views, hot shower. Despite no central heating, the electric mattress was very warm. Once it's heated, the warmness lasted for the whole night even we turned it off just before sleep. The toilet seat is heated, a great feature in winter time. Another pleasant surprise is that the toilet bowl is illuminated so no need to turn on the light if we need to go to toilet in the middle of the night, how considerate!

The room and hotel appeared to have been updated recently and was clean and modern. The beds were comfortable. The linens and towels were of good quality. The location was good and it was a short walk to the main part of the park and the walking trails. It was also easy access if you were arriving by train. The park was really nice and we wished that we had stayed 2 nights instead of one.

The way the glass worked in the shower, it was almost impossible to keep the bathroom floor dry. It was too warm for heat and the room got very humid overnight. We probably should have opened a window, but didn't think to do so. The staff should probably suggest doing that. Breakfast was a coupon to a restaurant nearby. This was not unexpected, but inconvenient. The breakfast buffet food was good, but the only choices to drink were coffee and soy milk. I don't drink either and would have appreciated tea or at least water. Given that so many tourists visit the park and that the area is known for its tea, it was unexpected not to have tea at breakfast (although we were told afterwards that the Taiwanese do not drink tea at breakfast).

Location - right at Alishan. Easy enough to find from the bus station. After arriving, find out i could call for their shuttle to pick me up. But they drove me to the train station. The lady at the desk is very nice, maybe she’s the boss/owner. They arrange the sunrise tour, interesting, then drove us to breakfast place. Good. Standard. It’s a newly renovated hotel, so it’s modern and clean. Give water bottles and water machine at hallways. Good.

A bit on the pricey side. I guess location locations location

When we checked in, the front desk person was very informative and helped us book our sunrise tour. She gave us good information about places to see and also about the Cedar car of the Alishan Railway. The hotel is close to the shopping plaza, Alishan station and the visitor information center. Our rooms and bathrooms were of adequate size, clean and comfortable.

Didn't enjoy the breakfast, not sure if the Alishan area has similar food choices for breakfast. The soy milk at the breakfast place was good.

We appreciated the thoroughness of the staff, especially Karina. We liked how soft and comfortable the beds were and how organized and easy it was to check in and out.

The room was overlooking a back alley and there was some noise if we left the windows open (which was recommended for cooling due to a lack of AC). Overall this was not an issue at night and was far quieter than city noise is.
