The locaton was perfect! This was the last 2 night stay of a 14 day holiday in Zanzibar and it was amazing. The rooms, the staff, the food and facilities was unbeatable for the price. A Perfect mixture of Zanzibar (beach, locals and good stay) at one place.

Was very clean and nice. Open hearted guest manager Moana was just amazing and made our stay even better. She is full of joy and this energy goes straight up to the guests. The staff was very kind and always happy and in a good mood helped with everything- just perfect.

The only thing we didn’t like is that the food was not as good as the high prices could be defended. although the food was good but the prices just to high in comparison to other restaurants in sansibar. (The Tuna cazpacho was really good!)

Beautiful views looking at the sea. Gorgeous rooms cleaned beautifully and presented really well. We were given a free upgrade by the lovely staff here. The pool was amazing. In fact, they had two pools. The breakfast was gorgeous, and the staff were kind and helpful all the way throughout our stay. 🥰

There's nothing bad to say.

Very very friendly staff. Breakfast was really good as well as other food items on the menu for lunch and dinner. The room was really big and was cleaned every day. Housekeeping staff made cute decorations on the bed with fresh towels every single day 😄 the pool was superb, the seating/chill area was totally insane with the different swing seats and beds overlooking the ocean- totally relaxing. Great views of the garden and ocean and interesting wall paintings all around. This property is just as presented in pictures if not better!

As with a few bathrooms in Zanzibar, ours had this unhygienic smell that was just pretty much in the entire room. At some point when flushing the toilet, the water would go up as if it were to spill out before actually going away, then occasionally it leaked dirty water into the shower area... Just not smelling ok all the time.😬 We were charged a ridiculous extra 5% for our bills for paying with card- this was extremely disappointing since it was never mentioned anywhere or at any point during our stay (only learnt of it last night of our stay when paying for all bills).

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bella Vista Resort and I can say without a doubt it was a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The food was also amazing, with a great variety of dishes and flavors to choose from. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious - I felt right at home throughout my stay. In terms of wifi, I was pleased to find the connection was strong and reliable. And last but not least, the location of the resort was breathtaking. The views were simply stunning. Overall, I would highly recommend Bella Vista Resort to anyone looking for an unforgettable vacation. Thank you to the staff for making my stay so wonderful!

The location is fabulous right at the local beach where there is so much happening, the seaview rooms are on super location, the breakfast is so nice, many choice and on order not a buffet. And the staff is super friendly

The pool was empty and not in use.

My husband and I had great experience at Bella Vista Resort from the management to their excellent staff. The service was superb. We celebrated our 20th anniversary there and renewed our commitment to each other. We will definitely revisit the Resort in future. Kudos to Bella Vista Resort.

Best quality choice in Zanzibar The staff is super great in the whole building! The quality and maintenance of rooms are very well. Breakfast was tasty The hotel location is very beautiful, its front beach resort,you can do dolphin tour right on the resort beach. Staff are very friendly and helpful. the rooms are very cozy.

we are repeaters. first time we were in 2019 here. three years later has a lot changed: a second big swimming pool and more bungalows. it was like in 2019 absolut amazing. the owner and his wife were very kind, the staff so friendly and the diner fantastic. you can choose between many local and international food. every food is very yummie. in kizimkazi there are a lot of locals. so you can learn about traditional life and can meet so many people. you can play football with the kids or you can go to the fish market.you can also book a snorkeling trip or dolphin safaris or safari blue. it is a quiet place for relaxing. there you can see the difference between ebb and flow. during the ebb you can walk on the beach for research. there is also a gym tower and if the owner stays there you can go every morning with him to do exercises on the beach. it was great! finally there is one of the best sunset in kizimkazi! we come a third time!

The food, staff and facilities were great.

There was a storm the night before and powerline connecting the hotel was disconnected. Knowing the power quality in Zanzibar, it was surprising seeing a hotel of this magnitude not having a back up generator. We had a power outage for almost an entire day and had to use candles for light.
