It was amazing! There's something for everyone. The hotel offers fantastic entertainment (volleyball, cooking classes, water sports). It's right on the beach. For those who enjoy culture, you can take a walk to the nearby town. We stayed there for over 20 days. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and always smiling. The standards are at a high European level. Highly recommend!

The staff is so well trained, polite, warm, pleasant, always smiling, so quick to respond to any situation. The property is beautiful, so clean, the garden looks amazing, every pool is so clean all the time. The kitchen is great, food delicious, especially the restaurant at Maua beach. The managers of the hotel obviously gave a special welcome!

Everything perfect

Staff was super friendly since the moment I walked in. If you are looking for something private then stay here! Everything is on site, taxi, breakfast lunch and dinner. Room was spacious and clean. There are two pools and 3 bars. The beach is out front. I’m serious, don’t think about it just book it and see for yourself! I usually don’t leave reports but I had to. Tony the beach server was really sweet and made my stay comfortable.

First Paje is a decent area to stay at, despite being a bit far from Nungwi (which is considered as a hub for Zanzibar) but the hotel is located directly next to the paved road (which is a plus comparing to other hotels at other areas). The resort has a breathtaking landscape and the rooms overlooking the sea are stunning. They are big enough with spacious bathroom and a dressing area and a lovely terrace. The food is nice but needs more variety (especially in the dinner) but they have open buffet for breakfast and dinner (which we didn't find at the other 2 hotels we stayed at) and that was an advantage. The staff there is very welcoming and helpful and I would like to praise Suliman from the reception, who went out of his way and managed to bring us food in the middle of the night (which is a big challenge in Zanzibar in general).

Nothing wrong with the hotel itself, but general comments for guests to consider; For night life fans, there are some acceptable options in other places not very far from the hotel, but definitely Nungwi would be a better option. There are no dining facilities inside or outside the hotel after 10 pm (and this is the case in different areas not only Paje) so guests should consider that. The beach overall is beautiful, but most of the time the tide is low and this maybe annoying (but when its is high, swimming there is fantastic).

I often come to the east of Zanzibar for work, and without a doubt Vr Club is my favorite place. Starting with the very professional management staff, available and always attentive to the needs of their customers! The hotel and restaurant staff are well trained and always present even at night. The familiar atmosphere that you feel makes you feel at home even if you are thousands of kilometers away from home. It has various types of rooms, apartments and villas to satisfy even the most demanding requests. In addition there is a staff of entertainers who organize various excursions and events one of which is called Zanzibiza, an event that lasts all day where you can do Yoga, you can admire art exhibitions and local markets, and in the evening eat fabulous food and dance all together to the music of famous internationally renowned DJs. Thanks again to the whole team!

WiFi was really strong! Finally after many days in Zanzibar I could manage my job things coz internet connection is really bad everywhere around. Breakfast was delicious! Didn't see in many place such a variety of food. Staff is really cool guys! Always trying to help and always care about you. Beach Restaurant-amazing spot! I work there with my laptop - ocean view and good fresh food - perfect combination! Rooms are super clean. Well maintained. Huge place then you feel comfortable to not see all guests around you. Thanks to All. Great choice! Definitely will be back!

Villa with pool amazing A la carte restaurant quality food at reasonable prices Staff exceptional really made a difference could tell they cared & genuine unlike other places we visited Very knowledgeable with advice regarding trips & when needed pcr test to fly home what could have been stressful was not due to help & care we were shown

A gym on site would have been nice just my preference not to everyone’s taste on holiday The on-site dj could have been more engaging & adapted to his audience rather than playing for himself & friends

The staff was amazing, so kind and caring. The location was amazing, private beach that was guarded 24 hours a day. 2 swimming pools, one with music and the other more quiet. And overall the place was big, neat and really beautiful. I have to mention the Manger that was so kind loving and caring herself.

The variety at the breakfast was not big enough and there were instincts all over the food. Having lunch and dinner will cost 25 dollar per person. And at the muah restaurant the pizza was great but we disappointed from all the other meals at the restaurant.

Location is great all the activities are available there we enjoyed a lot

Bed sheet and the bathroom towels were not so clean The don’t have blankets u use bed sheet to cover ur self.

very spacious resort , this is not room but little house for everybody very spacious , large bathroom view on the beach , 2 very good swimming pool , very good break fast with a lot of choice , good animations , very good beach … we had a issue with mosquito net and it was immediately replaced . the management is perfect still can’t understand why this hotel doesn’t have better review
