Such a gem perfectly located in the very center of Chiang Mai. The rooms are nicely decorated and very comfortable. The staff is extremely kind and make you feel so welcome. The complimentary drinks and light breakfast is awesome! Nice with a small fitness room, I did a few runs on the threadmill. I would return to this place again. Also, its a really cute street and right next to Sunday market and everything you need in Chiang Mai!

As others have mentioned the zink in the bathroom are too small and not handy for washing your face. Too many pidgeons in the pool area.

Its a small and cozy hotel, in the best place of the old city. You are close to the temples, to the street markets, the turism agencies. The staff is very lovely.

Amazing location! Right next to so many shops and massage places. The hotel also has a little grab and go station for drinks and snacks right out front. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The pool area was lovely and in the sun. The room was clean and comfy! You get so many complimentary snacks and drinks everyday.

The pool was dirty and had lots of bird poop in it. The toilet was in an awkward position and your knees hit the shower in our room.

Staff, location, tea time at Chala 6 was nice. Free waters, coffee, snacks at our hotel at all times. At Chala 6 tea time, you get free coffee/beverages and snacks. Worth checking out. Overall, fairly happy with my stay.

Wi-Fi was bad. Lucky I had data that I used so I could work from the hotel. Room was lacking mirrors and bathroom sink is tiny and the shower is small if you're relatively tall. I'm 5 10" and I had to duck so my head didn't hit the shower head.

The hotel is spotless clean, nicely decorated and the staff are super nice. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. What I really appreciated at Chanla No.2 was the complimentary snacks and drinks, such as the mini bar with bottled water, two beers and snacks which was restocked each day. There’s a little coffee machine, juice and cereal/snack area open all day which are complimentary as well. Just a nice change from other hotels that will charge these at a premium.

Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! Amazing location right next to the Sunday night market. and was able to walk to many temples and restaurants/cafes. I also liked the small gym (not too much equipment but sufficient to get in a workout while traveling!) the staff working there are extremely friendly and helpful. and the rooms are very clean and they offer daily room cleaning if you want. I could not be more happy with my choice to stay there!

the sink area in the bathroom is a little small so it was a bit awkward using it but not a big issue at all :)

Great locations

Everything is good acccpet the bathroom sink and the smell coming out of the toilet, the sink is so so small , u can't Evan brush ur teeth properly, the toilet super close to the wall , if u a big person u won't have room, the backup smell of the toilet is horrible , need to keep the bathroom door shut all the time, other than that , I'm happy with the stay

The attention was amazing, the staff was super nice and I felt so welcome all the time ! The room was always clean and fresh. I loved the pool and the gym ! The location is perfect

The only think was that behind the toilet sometimes we could feel a weird smell. (From the pipes I guess ). It was not terrible and it didn't affect the room or our stay.

Location and staff attentiveness once they are made aware of the issue. Very clean room and comfortable bed. Due to these positives I booked an additional 7 nights. Cozy decor has a quaint homely feeling. Able to use Chala no 6 pool.

Bathroom design too small shower space water ends up on the floor. Had internet issues that day. Having to pay cash for food orders would not be put against the room and change not returned on one occasion. Also no hot water until we asked for it to be fixed.

Staff Always aiming to please and extremely friendly. In Thailand maybe the most comfortable bed encountered.

Noise from repairing the swimming pool and other quests.Need to pay cash for food orders. Aesthetically beautiful space but certain design aspects in particular bathroom problematic space in regards to functionality.
