Loved the location and the wonderful staff! I looked forward to the snacks every day.

My stay at le canal was one of my favourite stays out of my whole Thailand trip. The beds we’re comfy everything was spotless clean. The toilet was even amazing. The location was perfect for me inside the old town walking distance to everything. I’m currently in my next hotel wishing it was le canal boutique house. The tv with YouTube and Netflix was such a luxury too and great working wifi with a plug in hairdryer. Definitely book your stay here when in Chiang mai such a great hotel for its price- I paid €95 for 4 nights in jan

It is next to a hostel that does play music until 12/1 and 10/11 other nights I didn’t mind as I just put my ear plus in and went asleep. But if your a light sleeper maybe ask to be moved. They did say I have a quite room but my windows were facing the back of the hostel we’re the music was playing so that’s why it was loud. I wouldn’t say it was that loud!l.

I was looking for a place to stay in Chiang Mai at the last minute at the airport upon arrival as I booked in the wrong city without realizing it and came across this wonderful place on a great deal. The place is on the outside of the wall but not really an issue. Aoom, this owner commented how lucky I was as she had posted spots since some people canceled. It is a boutique hotel with a cafe and clothing store attached at the front. The cafe is great for breakfast and the coffee is nice, but I can't speak to the clothing store as it wasn't open when I was there. The staff is nice and there is a security guard at night so if you need to park a motorbike or come and go that's no issue. The owner is usually there during the day or her staff until 6pm, but she is lovely to talk to and has another location on the edge of the city as well.

I didn't have any issues as I was only there for 2 days and my standards aren't high but since it's right on a street there may be some noise at night. But she provided earplugs which was a nice touch as there might have been some construction noise but I didn't notice any. However, if you travel you should always pack a set because you never know.

We stayed in the honeymoon suite. it was such a treat. Separate lounge area with two comfy chairs in front the TV, huge bathroom/dressing area and then the bedroom with doors separating all. it felt like a little apartment. We were both able to have our own space rather than being in one hotel room unit. Such good value for money. Lots of snacks provided and the bed was huge and very comfortable. the terrace also was private on three sides of the room, with a nice view from bedroom. North gate jazz bar a few doors down was an added bonus. Highly recommend!!

- Location is good, easy to get to most tourist spots in the old town. - Staff is quite friendly, and willing to help to clean up the room even I don't request it 😂 - Room is cozy and quiet, I slept well every night. - I can see they put so much efforts to make every guest feel welcomed and at home, like they make towels into swan shape, and they prepare a bag of cookies in your room. - The public area of the hotel is open spaced, but at the same time you still have privacy to keep to yourself.

Just one thing to improve, it'll be better to add a faucet in the bathroom. Now there's only a shower head.

I definitely appreciated the hospitality and kindness of the hotel staff (including the lovely and helpful security guard who helped me check in at night). It was a well-kept room complete with toiletries (except toothbrush/paste) and some welcome snacks. The hotel is also in a great location close to a night market and a funky jazz bar for a fun night. There's a cozy cafe right beside the hotel, and I enjoyed the coffee and pastries during my morning rush. I highly recommend this place for any travellers seeking comfort and value for their money!

This family run hotel is clean,modern,close to the old Town and a night Market across the canal/street.Plus many of the temples,restaurants and cafes in Old Town within walking distance. Street parking for our rental car was available every time and it was easy to get in and out of Chiang Mai from the location for daytrips.

They had some trouble with the internet connection,but that was beyond their control. There is a big underground electricity lines project going on right across. They told us that the work could be noisy too at night and provided earplugs,but we did not use them at all. We went to sleep around 11/11.30 and it was fine every night.The work must be going on very,very late at night

Clean , tidy, quiet and comfortable. Staff is very helpful. Unfortunately the window is too small and too high which may be uncomfortable for some people. Apart this, overall, this property is very good for the price.

Everything was great! The location was good for both getting around in the city (7 eleven and market close by, within the walls which is great for trip pick ups and easy to find). The staff was really like, the security guard and the receptionist lady too. Thank you for the welcome snacks too. I really liked the layout of the room because the slidable door could block the sunlight and the room didn't heat up during the day. Not to mention the atmosphere was lovely too. Would definitely recommend!

There was nothing I didn't like.

There was some noisy electricity night-repair around the accomodation during our stay, and for making the place sleep-friendly, they gave free earplugs for every single night. I also would like to highlight the cheerful and helpful staff, we could always count on them. They helped with the laundry, to choose food aroud, to direct us what to see, to book a journey, and with a great smile on their face. We even got recommendation for our next stay in Phuket, because the receptionist knew a few places there. Oh yeah, and also the room was great, before I forget :)
