The roosters were only an issue in the room I had with a balcony. I stayed on the 9th floor and moved to a room with no balcony and couldn’t hear them again. There was some construction noise however but it only caught my attention once. One big issue was smoke (both cigs and weed) being sucked into my air conditioner but this wasn’t a fault of the hotel it was merrily trashy guest when unfortunately, value hotels attract. This hotel is totally nonsmoking and by laws in Thailand prohibit smoking in hotels, apartments and condos like this. Also on their balconies!

I stayed in 10 different hotels in CM before founding this place that is perfect for me. I ended up staying here for a few weeks. It's situated in the middle of residential area - very quiet at night, still less than 10 min walk from the Square. All rooms have large desks and wifi is stable so you can do some laptop work Given the low price, it's just a very good place to stay Pro tip: the rooms ending in 3 (like 603) have the best balconies

It was a nice big room with a table and comfy bed, one can work quite comfortably, if needed. They deliver 3 bottles of water daily. Breakfast was very nice, buffet with some choice. The location is also nice, 5 min to the walls, so you can walk the city center by your feet any time. Doors are electronic with a key card. There is a cozy sofa and bookable in the room. Wifi was very fast, like 200 mbit, they have at least 2 routers on each floor, that's so nice!

There were dim lights and no separate lights for the table, so in the evening it's not so comfortable to work there.

Bed was comfy, breakfast was simple and the kitchen staff don't speak english, so was hard to ask them for something because they don't understand, but they are really very kind. Receptionist let us to leave your backpacks for few hours the day we had check out, so thank you for that.

We sleep in highest floor but on the room are closed doors to next room and because of that we hear everything the person was doing in the room till midnight..

Location - was 10 minute walk into the old city, great to get our steps in, while not too far. Breakfast - mainly fresh eggs, toast, crossiants, jam, juice and coffee (and thai options) - perfect for us. Room - ample space, nice bathroom, and safety lock on door. We had a room on the 7th floor that felt secure (and had a great view!) Staff - friendly, communicative, and waited for us when our plane was delayed and we thought our check in might be past 11:30pm. Also, we left 'do not disturb' on our door, but they made sure to leave more bottled water outside our room everyday. Also made sure to get my laundry back to me the same day when I asked. So glad we ended but staying more than 1 night - Far exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely stay again.

Great location, tremendous staff so friendly and helpful. It was a really enjoyable stay so being flexible extended my stay twice totalling 4 weeks in total. Location wise close to the city centre and within easy walking distance to night markets, bars and restaurants. Great value for money and the breakfast being included was a great benefit, varied and tasty .

Nothing to complain about.

I stayed at Norwind for two weeks. The room was big and clean with a nice bathroom and a mini fridge. The staff were nice and polite and helped me with different reservations. The breakfast was awesome with a wide range of local and international dishes and items. There is a small cozy pool. The Wifi in my room (the 5th floor) was strong. The property is less than ten minute walk to Chiang Mai's Old Town.

I wished I had a microwave in my room.

The Hotel staff is very helpful and you are given a breakfast ticket. The A/C in the room was great and the beds comfortable, plus the shower was fine. The furniture is dated but good. The room kind of dark. Free bottles of water are placed at your door every morning. Nice touch. It is very quiet. Luggage storage included. Love this place.

Quite a walk from the center. A window was broken and work being done on the building.
