I paid to have breakfast included each day. I was glad for this option as it was a lovely and convenient way to start each day. There was a nice selection to choose from, both western and Asian options, always fresh fruit. The location was convenient to the Old City, it was an easy walking distance. There were a number of nearby restaurants to go to. The staff were extremely warm and helpful. Every staff member I interacted with during my stay was friendly and made me feel at home. No matter the request they were always happy to assist. As a solo female traveler I always felt welcome and safe at the Hotel Loy.

The view from my particular room was not particularly pleasant. However, I did not spend a great deal of time sitting and looking out the window anyway.

The hotel is modern and room 307 was luxury and good bed. staff is helpful and happy to help although sometimes they are a little too exaggerated.

The location is in a more quiet alley close to a bar street. Everything is pretty much on walking distance but you can use a taxi or rent a scooter to get around. WiFi was absolutely terrible and that’s a a dissapointment especially for the western price you pay. I also think that cappuccino should be included in the breakfast. swimming pool didn’t look tempting.

Great location not far away from the night markets. The breakfast was really good but the highlight was definitely the staff especially Kate and Matti who made our stay so memorable. They were so lovely and helpful! We'll never forget this. Everyone who loves to be treated at a hotel with a more personal touch will feel comfortable here!

Good breakfast and very friendly staff- the friendliest we had out of our whole trip. Extremely clean room!

We stayed one night in old city and one night here- this was further away from what we enjoyed, but good if you want to be close to the night Bazaar as it’s a close walk!

Great location, lovely room and staff.

They had a koi carp pool with very large fish but the pool was far too small for them and was just a black container. Very poor animal welfare.

- Our stay becomes memorable because of Sen! He went above and beyond to make us happy. He always checked in with us when we're back at the hotel. His personality is full of character that I saw him treat all the customers with the same respect. Sen is a big asset of this hotel and that is the reason why we rated this hotel highly. No doubt that he will continue doing so to whomever that crosses path with him. Sen is the true and genuine icon of Thai hospitality. Thank you Sen, and I hope to see you again next time! - Other staff were also friendly and made sure that we're taken care of, from refreshing drinks after a full day exploring to their attentiveness to details e.g., answering our questions about tours or places and helping us with our luggage. - The room's always cleaned everyday. - Location is walking distance to the markets, and the main road is also has 7/11 and restaurants. We tried Chez Marco and it was good. Some of the massage places along the road look dodgy, but nothing to worry about if you care less. - The laundry service at the hotel was very affordable, and it helped us a lot. - We did not use the pool and gym, so could not comment, but the pool looked nice.

- Maintenance of the property should be considered. The bathroom door squeaked everytime you slid it. - Black flooring was not such a good idea as it looked dirty everyday. Unless the concept is to take off your shoes? - Power plug was not in each of the bedside, so it's inconvenient when you wanted to charge your phone. - No mirror in the bedroom. It's only in the bathroom and it's time consuming when you're travelling with friends as you need to wait for the person in the bathroom to finish before getting ready. - Water pressure of the shower (the main big one) was too weak.

It was the most friendly, welcoming, clean and comfortable hotel. We loved the fresh iced juice they gave us whenever we returned to the hotel or before we left for the day. And the breakfast was outstanding.

Everything, the staffs are very attentive and really serve with their heart. Room is very clean, location is also superb. I really recommend this hotel.

It’s a lovely, boutique hotel, in a very easy location close to the old town but very peaceful and quiet at night. My bedroom was huge, with a comfortable bed which would probably have fitted four of me! The pool was lovely even in December, the breakfasts are delicious and a wide menu. But most of all, the team of staff at Hotel Loy are delightful - really polite and friendly, and so helpful. They made me feel very welcome and it was a pleasure coming back to the hotel to be greeted by them every evening. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Loy!

I liked everything

The interior and general aesthetic was very pleasing and calming. The room was spacious and well designed. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We received a welcome drink plus a drink every time we returned in the evening which was a lovely touch. We were provided plenty of bottled for the room. They provided pool towels and if we had any issues they were promptly resolved.

There were a couple of things that could be improved; The pool could had lots of moss/green debris on the floor and sides, so it could have been cleaned a little better. The beds were always made when we returned, however it was a little inconsistent in terms of the sheets not being fully tucked in all the way around, and we did receive a call to the room at 12:45AM whilst we were asleep to ask if we would like to extend our check out, which was quite odd as it was well into the night.
