Had a cozy, stylish private room. Would have liked to stay longer, but was already booked.. breakfast was also simple, but good enough for me

Just the mosquitos in the garden (and I did not like the coffee offered for free, but that does not count I guess)

Nice and peaceful. It’s not a party hostel so you can get a good nights sleep without drunk people coming in at 2am. The breakfast was good considering it was free. Staff were fantastic.

Just a minor thing but there’s not really anywhere to get changed because the dorms are mixed and then the shower cubicles are very small so you end up stood in shower water as you get changed. Also I found there to be a lot of mosquitos in the garden during the day, hard to avoid in Thailand but I don’t think having a pond helps. Didn’t seem to be a problem in the evening.

The hostel is located in quiet spacious enough surrounding away from traffic. Nice garden with hammock bench and seating in front t to relax, read or chat fellow travelers. Dorms very secure and option of safe in every bed or lockers outside Dorms with your own lock. .. Staff really friendly, happy to help but especially Ploy. She has good English and went way beyond the call of duty in assisting in every possible way. A star..🌟 She even booked Grab Taxi for me.on departure...

Breakfast was poor... Better served if they provided just fresh fruit and Tea/ Coffee The biggest problem was the squeaking of top. Bunks in my dorm with any movement. I was in lower bunk but had poor nights sleep as a result... Also duvet on bed far to warm ...

The location was wonderful, a quiet and freen place, just 5 mins away from the main streets, with shops and restaurants. Staff was super welcoming and helpful, allowing us to have breakfast even before the allocated time when going to a tour, thanks!! The room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was nice and with a good choice of salty and sweety options.

The shower in the bathroom. There was no curtain to separate the shower from the rest of the bathroom, hence everything was "flooded" once we used it, really a pity.

Lovely chill hostel in Old City Very clean and great breakfast every day. Private room was large with a big bed and nice bathroom Staff really helpful - especially Wit who was so kind and always had recommendations for things to do in Chiang Mai. Thank you Wit!! Great location also. Hostel was very quiet however, not sociable at all and didn't have any activities but that was fine for us! Very lovely garden with hammocks and benches to chill out

The breakfast was a great added features. Frutis, stir-fry noodles, waffles, coffee, etc. The front yard area is so serene and relaxing and liked sitting out there soaking in the sun.

The worst part of the hostel are all the mosquitos there. I have never encountered more mosquitos there than anywhere else. Also the bathrooms and showers being only on the first floor wasn't ideal since the dorms are upstairs. Despite this overall, great hostel and would recommend.

The space was furnished really well with a lot of thought and attention to detail. There were a ton of seating options in the common areas and storage in the private room, which I realised I've been missing in other hostels. Especially the little pond area outside looked beautiful! Staff were so incredibly sweet and helpful :)

The sheets were freshly washed but did have some stains on them, we didn't mind much though. Breakfast was just okay, it was usually cold when we came downstairs because there aren't enough people for the staff to be constantly adding fresh food to the buffet. It's also the same every day, all of which are things I understand from a logistical perspective, it just gets a little old quite quickly. Price was a bit high for Thailand to me (~32€/night) but that's subjective and we didn't exactly book early. All in all I'd still recommend Sherloft!

The property was beautiful and relaxing, the location was wonderful, a little remote but a close walk to the markets. It wasn’t necessarily a social hostel, but this was my first stop and I was looking to rest and recoup. I booked a private room with a private bathroom and it was perfect for my first stay in Thailand. Staff was nice and helpful, I was able to keep my bags there after check out so I could explore. I would absolutely stay here again.

Where should I start? I had such a great time in Chiang Mai and staying at Sherloft truely felt like having a home away from home. The staff is so helpful, friendly and always giving their best to provide help and recommendations. The room was unexpectedly big, very clean and quiet (although close to kitchen and public areas), nice breakfast to start the day,... Would definitely book again!

The property was perfect! So so welcoming, and the staff were all so friendly. Our private room was lovely, the aircon worked perfectly, and the entire vibe was just amazing. 10 minutes to seven eleven and central location. Easy to meet people as lots of social spaces to relax and everyone says hello! Breakfast included was delish! Fruit, eggs, noodles, coffee really wonderful.
