Our second stay at The Lapa, very little has changed since the last time we were here. The staff are a delight, in particular the breakfast staff who were very welcoming and helpful. Location for us was good, immediately next door to Bluport, and a short walk after crossing the road to the beach. Nice pool area, good size air conditioned rooms. It is excellent value for money.

Hard to be critical given what we paid per night, having said that the poolside loungers were uncomfortable and would have benefited from cushions/pads. The gym was unusable due to the cables within the multigym equipment having snapped.

Amazing stay overall. From the minute we stepped in I loved the place and a staff member even offered to carry our luggage for us. The pool area has a great vibe with a 'fake beach' - it was better than the crowded nearby beach 🙃Our room was spacious and clean and located on the top floor facing the pool which was nice. The breakfast was super good and included Thai options too which I ate every morning - aroi mak ma! The breakfast staff were all lovely too! The hotel is located conveniently close to two bigger malls and night markets along the main road where you can hop onto the local bus easily and travel both ways for 15thb. The only reason for not giving 10 stars is the reason that the pool area could have a few more sun loungers during busier times :)

Large room with very comfortable bed .With such a central location it was surprisingly quiet. All staff I met were very friendly and efficient. Lots of hot water

Only one small issue is that the bathroom door needs attention where the frequent floor washing has damaged it. Cosmetic not service problem !

Temp of breakfast room is too cold, it may be in the winter season, table outside just only three. Faucet water pressure that's too strong.

The style layout and cleanliness of the room was very impressive.

As my wife had a bad back, we booked a pool access room as pictures on the website showed sunloungers.We felt it would be better for her. Unfortunately, there were only deckchairs with plastic seating on the patio in front of our room. With her bad back, she was unable to use them, and despite asking for sunloungers, they were never provided. She did try to use one that was in a different area, but they were metal and only had very thin cushions, so they were not suitable. She had to spend her time laying on the bed in the room. Also, a pool access room does not give you exclusive access to the area in front of your patio doors. We did not book breakfast, so we can't comment on that. However, the description on booking.com says a restaurant and pool bar. The pool bar does not exist, and the restaurant only serves breakfast. The spa is also under refurbishment. The staff were very nice but limited language skills, we conversed with Google translate on occasions.

Cold Showers, every day. I brought it up to front desk but no action, they put me in the back building and I think I was the only one staying in that building.

So dissapointed we have booked 6 rooms Asking for addtional pillow Staff refuse to give Staff offering to change 1 room to lower grade from superior with a promise to give back the money from 2.500 thb to 2.200 When check out instead of give 300 thb as promised staff charging additional 900 thb So we have to pay 3,300 Staff refused to give the receipt upon check out and until now Not received any receipt eventhough they promised to send through email
