Location - apartment K1 is literally on the beach, other bungalows are behind. Great massage right in front. Simple but big and clean room, bed is very hard, if you don't like it, be careful! Clean bathroom, hot shower

Staff was smiling but quite lethargic and not very enthusiastic. Owner I found a bit rude, and not very helpful. I had to leave a day early due to flights issues, and there was zero flexibility on refund, which I accept, but when they charged me for extra coffee at breakfast, fully knowing that I will miss next day coffee & food, I was very surprised! It's not about $ but just no kindness at all, which is not like Thailand

It’s right at the beach and away from the main road. it’s super quiet, very nice atmosphere, if you want to get away from then crowd, the best place to be

I stayed at the room with AC, which was super clean and amazing, maybe if you are staying at the Bungalows it might not be as great, so make sure to take the room (it’s also a bungalow just with concrete walls and AC). it was excellent stay!

We stayed in a bungalow with fan only and then a bungalow with air con and a tv. Both were great value for money. Whether you’re on a budget or can pay more for a larger bungalow. This was one of the best places we have stayed in Thailand. The owner was so nice and helpful. Sorting out a kayaking trip and a boat ticket to our next destination. They had an amazing bar and restaurant backing onto the beach where you can watch the sunset. Great fish bbq and a good price compared to other places on the beach. Beautiful water to swim in and when tide is out you can explore loads of rocks and fish on the sea. Fantastic sunsets. Fantastic staff. Cosy cats hanging around. Big menu at restaurant with plenty of veggie options. This place was awesome.

Loved our stay - clean, friendly staff and right on the beach. Great value for the cost, simple amenities but everything you need. The location is perfect, I would recommend staying here over long beach. You are right in the middle of the island for exploring and lots of great bars and restaurants nearby. It gets hot, we booked a room which had both aircon and a fan which was great and the hotel helped us with renting bikes and laundry both at great prices.

Superb location, right in the beach! Our bungalow was about 20 m away. Nice plants around and plenty of shade if you don’t like a sun as much. Has a restaurant with good food. Very quiet and there is few bars near by, but you cannot hear any loud music. Very good value for money and have shops right on the main street. Stunning sunsets!

Staff was very attentive and smiley, however a bit lethargic. I guess it’s due to work everyday long hours. Prices in restaurant are bit on higher end list. Room could do with small rack for storage. It would be nice to have also bucket of water or water shower near by the bungalows to wash your feet when coming of the beach as the sand end up in the rooms.

This is a beautiful place to stay! The staff are lovely, cabins are right on the beach - it was so nice i came back two days after checking out. Cabins are simple but clean and comfortable. I had one with a fan and then one with aircon, both with a porch and hammock!! Breakfast each morning was great and served on the beach. Area itself is quiet but a short walk along the beach to some bars and other ‘busier’ areas are easy to access if you want them. Good snorkelling too 😀

Stayed in the fan bungalow for 2 nights, then spent another 2 nights in the aircon bungalow. The one with aircon is definitely an upgrade, and also comes with a fridge and hot water. The temperature in the fan bungalow was alright during the night, but can be quite hot during the day. I really liked the bungalows, they're very cozy and have cheerful colours. Also liked the hammock on the porch. Location is great, of course it's right next to the beach, and supermarkets and restaurants are very close, just a few minutes walk away.

It’s an absolutely great place. Bungalows are decent in size, including bathroom, hammock and chair on the balcony and it’s just by the beach. Many breakfast options, as well as restaurant that offers a good selection of local dishes. They also offer massage by the beach. Service overall is 10/10. You can rent a bike, book tours, and ask anything at the reception. Close to a c market and seven eleven.

The resort is run by Sam and his family and staying there felt like staying with a family. It was lovely. They went out of their way to tend to my special needs (hot water for my green tea and creatively solving my difficulty in getting work wifi platform to function). The mango shakes were the best! Close to 7-Eleven, ATMs, restaurants, and the fabulous Faikham massage studio. Couldn't ask for more!

Really nothing to complain about.

The staff were very friendly. The location is so close to the beach, with a shaded restaurant that overlooks the sea. I had a TV and complementary refreshments, in my clean and bright room. Lanta Family provides much more comfort than similarly priced lodgings in the area, that were very basic and dirty. And also, more than some of the more expensive lodgings.

The only downside was that my curtain did not fully cover the window. But this was fixable.
