The hotel and the grounds are lovely. The beachfront rooms are gorgeous. The generous supply of fresh water each day was much appreciated and the replenishment of tea, coffee and snacks. The cute towel animals on the bed each morning was lovely. The cleaning ladies are to be commended. They are highly professional and very friendly.

We had a fabulous time there. The only thing I can think of is that I feel as though the pool area may benefit from having some oversized pot plants placed around. It is quite hot up on the deck and some greenery would really help visually cool the space.

Amazing spot right on the beach. Our room was right beside the garden pool which is about 300m back from the beach. While we didn't really use the pool in that area, it was very a peaceful part of the resort and only a short walk to the main area. There is also another main pool facing the beach. Plenty of very comfortable lounging areas (cabanas, bean bag chairs, swings, hammocks, sun loungers) either on the beach or by the pools. The ocean was quite rough, but it was fun to splash around in the waves. The breeze off the water made it so enjoyable to chill out in a beach cabana all day. The free breakfast was extensive with both western and Thai options available, all of which were delicious. Would 100% stay here again.

There was a pool table, but it was coin operated. We felt that it should have been free to use. Restaurant was a bit expensive for us, but there were plenty of cheaper options within walking distance.

We loved most everything. The resort is beautiful. Lovely gardens. Amazing beach. Lots of lounge chairs. Two swimming pools. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast buffet. Good restaurant and coffee shop on site. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Massage available onsite - best massage I’ve ever had! We stayed in a standard garden bungalow that had a very comfortable bed. It was clean and had air con, fridge, drinking water, beach towels and toiletries. There was also a little balcony for drying towels and swim suits. Overall a great place to stay. We would definitely recommend it and would like to go back again one day!

The standard garden lofts are at the back of the property by the road. I wouldn’t say we didn’t like it, but we didn’t like that it wasn’t made clear that it was not close to the beach, especially since the price we paid was higher than other bungalows or hotel rooms we stayed in on our trip that were closer to the beach. A sign said it was 200 m to the beach but an app on my phone said it was more like 400 m. But it was pretty and a good walk. I just wish that information had been made clear when we booked. It’s almost like there are two separate resorts joined by a walkway. The road noise could be heard from our bungalow but the air con helped drown it out. Overall, we did love our bungalow itself as it was very comfortable.

The environment is wonderful, they have everything: restaurant, bar, café, massage, the fire show, the pool, the beach, the service is outstanding. And I’ve been 3 times of massage, that were amazing.

Just we were not very happy about the location of our room, it was just beside the street, we could hear the busy traffic, it’s not so relax, because that’s the reason we escaped from city to go to the resort on the island. The first night was on Saturday I couldn’t sleep because of the traffic noise. During the day was construction work’s noise. We just thought any other room in this resort is better than the one we have stayed.

The sea view villas are amazing, I slept better then home with waves and frogs sound. The cleaning service is also great. We liked the access to great restaurants ( all the main road restaurants are very good, the beach side not so much) and massage places, supermarket from the main road is local type, better then 7-11.

The only thing I really didn’t like and I don’t rate as 10 is the sun beds issue, even if the beach is beautiful, the perfect beach, there are so few sun beds and there are fixed, so even if you wake up at 7 to catch one, you have to sit in the sun in the worst hours because you can’t move them under the umbrella, also not all sunbeds sets have umbrellas, they really need to invest in this for guests confort

We loved the beach front, bar and restaurant. Prices were ok but sometimes a little small measures in the bar! Most staff were helpful, smiling and kind. Breakfast was excellent. Our room has a good sea view and was just what we expected.

The door to the villa wasn’t easy to lock and this could be frustrating. The air conditioner seemed to have a mind of its own and sometimes switched off in the night for no reason (no, the timer was off!). One night we were told we could not have a drink s the bar was closing. It was 21:50 and the bar closes at 22:00. It seems that there was perhaps a team meeting but I didn’t believe this. The staff were quite rude about us just wanting a bottle of wine! The sink in the room was ridiculous. Form over function. No plug so a lot of water is wasted. No hooks in the bathroom for robes/towels. Poor storage in the bedroom.

The staff were always smiling, very nice and kind. Massages at the spa were divine! You can hear the sea during it and it's the best experience. Sunsets are beyond beautiful. Lym's restaurant is a separate establishment, but works very well in symbiosis. Their food is amazing and we loved the prices too! Coconut just 60 baht, and same for the beer during happy hour. Escape cafe was also wonderful with their craft coffees. We wish Long Beach Chalet a long and prosperous business and we hope to come back one day.

Because the massage spot is just at the back at the reception, sometimes there would be louder conversations (or playing kids) heard, but I don't think anything can be done about that. Just an observation! The massage is still too relaxing for me to care about some noise.

We had a sea view room and could see (just) and hear the waves. This room was close to the pool, beach, reception, restaurant and coffee shop, which was an easy stroll. The whole atmosphere was relaxed and just being able to enjoy the beach, which was clean and inviting, then enjoy an end of day drink at the restaurant while watching the sunset was really great. Our room was clean and comtemporary design and the outside area was good. The breakfast was expansive and good quality and the restaurant served excellent food for dinner. The coffee shop on site served an excellent coffee.

Nothing really, all good. While the resort itself was excellent, the main road appeared to be still in the process of recovering from Covid. This meant the option of going out to eat didn't appeal to us compared to simply staying at the resort for dinner. Usually we like to mix it up, but the resort had a much better buzz than the surrounding businesses, so be prepared to perhaps eat in, as at the date of this review anyway.

We stayed in a lovely room just one row back from the beach, great location. Very comfortable, large, clean room. Unfortunately stingy things in the sea meant no one could swim on that beach, if we drove 20 minutes further down the coast we could generally swim without being stung. Such a shame not to be able to swim in front of the resort. Both my partner and I got an ear infection, I think due to very low level of chlorine in the heavily used pool. A very nice resort, but we stayed at 4 different places on koh lanta, the other 3 being half the price, and we wouldn't pay long beach prices again, even though v nice, as there are a lot of smaller v nice resorts around. Food was mediocre and expensive so we walked up to the restaurants on the road behind the resort to eat. Couple of nice bands played in the evening while we were there.

The stingy things in the sea, maybe jelly fish eggs? No one was quite sure what the cause was but everybody got stung and the sea was empty of people. Pillows were horrendous, v hard and massive. I slept on my rolled up scarf in the end.

Beachfront bungalow view, tall trees with natural shadow on the beach, SMART TV, breakfast, kids menu for kids below 120cm is for free, swings on the beach. Lovely stay for a family with kids

We stayed 8 nights there in high season and only on one day there were fresh coconuts at the bar available, and even then bar ran out of coconuts before 13pm. Too less sunbeds on the beach and people reserved it with a towel at 7am - this didn’t actually bother us, because we were staying in beachfront bungalow, just a „watch out“ point for the people who like to sleep long :)
