We stayed here for one week and it was the most magical stay. The resort was paradise and had a beautiful pool where we loved to watch the sunset each evening. The service from all of the staff was absolutely excellent. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We loved getting tuk tuks and longtail boats to and from the mainland and really enjoyed the day trips provided by the hotel. They ensured all transportation and trips ran smoothly. We felt very looked after and didn't have to worry about anything during our stay. I couldn't recommend this place enough. It was a really special part of our travel journey so far that we will remember with great fondness! Thank you to everyone at Islanda Hideaway Resort! 10/10! 5 Stars! 🌟👏😁

This accommodation is amazing! Very friendly staff and perfect services. They take care of your well being and your needs. It is a good place to connect with nature. The bathroom and shower is outside and it looks stunning. The pool view at the sunset is something once in a lifetime. Very good breakfast, not many varieties of food but it is enough. The food at the restaurant is amazing, they have a la carte. The only thing which you need to keep in mind is that is far from the city. 2 minutes by boat from Chaofa or Thara Pier and then 20 min with a tuk tuk. You will pay around 300 bhat for this every time you leave and return to the resort, but I tell you with all my heart that it is worth the sacrifice. They have good massage in the resort. It is better to take a massage there even though is more expensive than in the city, because you will pay for the trip to the city anyway. Also we first did one in the city and it was not that professional even though cheaper. I strongly recommend this hotel for couples ready for an authentic experience. Down the road you will see the authentic village and people of Thailand. If you don’t like boats then you can reconsider. IMportant!!: They don t have a beach due to the low and high tie. You need to book trips to the islands if you want to stay on the beach.

Overall the hotel offers a very nice experience since it is far away from the city. The breakfast was good with room for improvement. Restaurant was very good. It is a place for relaxing.

The pool can be clean more frequently. We asked for repairing the safe box twice and nothing happened. We gave up asking. The hotel has forgotten to pick us from the airport and we needed to wait two hours. The airport was closing and we needed to wait outside. They did not even apologize nor offer any compensation for this bad experience.

This property is perfect for a quiet getaway, it feels authentic and cycling through the village you really get a feel for Thai life. The bikes and canoes are free to use. Both of which are a great way to enjoy the local area. The rooms are spacious and clean. Showering outside is perfect in the Thailand climate. The staff are super friendly, watching the sunset every night mid amazing.

If you want to be in the busy more touristy part, this isn’t for you it’s a tuk tuk, boat followed by a taxi/bus ride to Aonang and you can’t really swim in the sea from the hotel as it’s too shallow.

My wife and I really enjoyed the intimacy and privacy the hotel and its facilities have. It almost felt like we had the whole hotel to ourselves. If you are looking for a perfect getaway that feels like you're staying in a private hotel on a lonely island, then this is your place. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The hotel also has a nice gym and bicycles for active people. The pool has filtered sea water. We had the perfect honeymoon here.

The hotel is 7 kilometres away from the closest pier (boat station) and it doesn't have any western like shops anywhere nearby. However this is not a huge issue because you can easily book a tuk tuk from the hotel and afterwards take the boat into Krabi town. Usually it takes around 30 minutes to get from the hotel to Krabi town (Chaofa pier).

Everything went well. From the airport pickup, check-in, food, drink, room, ease in which everything was organised including excursions, right through to drop off back at the airport. This is a hideaway and not for those wanting loads of nightlife or shopping, however, it's easy enough (and great fun!) to get to Krabi town and also to various day trips etc. I highly recommend accepting the hotel's offer of airport transfer as they travel a different route and you spend more time in the long tail boat than in the Tuk Tuk. If you want to make your own way there, then make your way to Krabi town quay and a short boat trip from there across to Koh Klang and a 20 min Tuk Tuk is easy enough. On arrival, you're met with a relaxing and peaceful check-in (the staff are just excellent) and we (2 people) had a beach front room which I recommend as it's detached, with stunning views and has everything you need. The resort was built around 10 years ago and was closed for 3 during Covid etc and everything is in good condition. The bed was firmer than I would normally go for, but didn't cause any issues and was comfortable. The bar is stunning (don't miss happy hour at 18:00 plus the sunsets) and the restaurant is nicely laid out and offers excellent food. All in all, I can't fault anything, in fact it was an amazing experience throughout.

I loved absolutely everything about the property everything was clean. The stuff was very, very very friendly and helpful, and they never pressured any of us to tip. They would do with things out of love, especially Mr. film he was really a great help to us. That hotel has a lot of programs that can take us to visits, two different islands around crabby and just everything was absolutely wonderful

There is absolutely nothing I I can say that I did not like about the property. Everything was beyond expectations.

Before reaching the resort I had a feeling that we booked at the wrong site. After reaching there, our feelings changed immediately. Wonderful and very comfortable family cottage was given with two separate rooms with separate entries and each having their own bathroom and changing rooms and a huge balcony with seating arrangements. People staying in other cottages were also mostly Europeans and good. It's secluded and nothing much around, but from airport to resort shall take less than 45 min which includes Taxi, a short less than 10 min ride by boat and 10 min ride via tuk tuk. Sounds complicated but was convenient. Resort provided pickup and drop to airport at additional cost. Awesome infinity swimming pool. Superb staff and very tasty Thai cuisine. Breakfast was average. Overall we had a great stay, beautiful sunset and ocean view from everywhere including our cottage.

One has to leave the island for all the tourist attractions, Ao Nang visit, and all the other touristy island visits which are via Ao Nang.

Loved the peaceful and slightly remote setting, the staff were fantastic, everything was as described. The stilted bungalows are spacious and this is a true hideaway!

Only slight negative were the breakfasts, which we found a little basic. Whilst we understand that Thai food culture doesn't include cheeses, pastries or fresh bread, we would have appreciated more variety. They offered us omelettes towards the end, but it would have been great to have someone making them at the buffet. The food generally at lunch and dinner was great.

I had an incredible stay at this charming hotel in Krabi! The staff were absolutely amazing—always welcoming, attentive, and ready to help with a smile. The location was perfect, offering stunning views of the sea and nestled in a quiet mangrove area, making it a peaceful retreat. Although getting to the hotel required a boat and a tuk-tuk ride, the journey added a sense of adventure and was well worth it. The property was clean and serene, ideal for those looking to relax and disconnect. A highlight of our stay was New Year’s Eve. The hotel organized a fantastic dinner accompanied by an entertaining show. After the countdown, they surprised us with a hot air laterns, which was absolutely magical! It was an unforgettable way to welcome the new year.
