The property is “out of town” and has a very chill vibe to it. You wouldn’t believe you are still in Bangkok. It is conveniently located close to the main airport and would help anyone avoiding the heavy traffic when trying to take a flight. The food of the restaurant is one of the best we’ve had while being in Bangkok. And that’s taking into consideration some of the Michelin restaurants that are in town. We had breakfast, late lunch and dinner there and have been pleasantly surprised by the quality. The chef is very good. Definitely a big recommend, whether you are looking for a place close to the airport before your flight or that you are looking for a chill place far from the town buzz or simply really want to enjoy great Thai cuisine from the restaurant.

It was very clean, roomy and quiet. Staffs were very friendly, too. I definitely recommend it to those who are flying in late or flying out early. It is located near the airport, which is very convenient. However, I wouldn’t recommend staying here to go in and out of Bangkok city; it is very hard to get a taxi from the hotel and quite expensive to come in from the city(be aware of the taxi drivers who accept the call but never come and won’t even cancel the call themselves! You may have to cancel and pay the cancellation fee.)

I felt a little uncomfortable when one of the night shift male staffs offered to come into my room and give a massage, because he had been in a massage business in Phuket or something. I’m sure he was just being friendly and didn’t mean anything inappropriate, but I suggest he not offering such service to a female solo traveler late at night. He was very friendly and helpful in general though. He made sure I had food when I flew in late and helped me with WiFi and all.

A Mini oasis close to BKK airport. Perfect place for peaceful overnight stay before onward journey. Good sized rooms, clean, comfortable and very well presented. Excellent quality ala carte breakfast. Seating area is on a mini-lake with lush green setting.

Not much around the property for late night food. Was directed to a 7-11 that’s a 9 minute walk away (no thanks)! There were some snacks and coffee in reception which I bought instead. One mosquito bite, but to be expected I guess given the lush greenery around the property!

Amazing place to stay for an overnight stop before early flight. We arrived late and left early but were not disappointed by this fab little gem which had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. The little restaurant was brilliant and served us a delicious meal even though we arrived late. Great value shuttle service in the morning to airport. Thankyou for a lovely clean hotel.

Nothing not to like.

Amazing hotel and restaurant on a lake, very close to the BKK airport (10 minutes in a taxi) but feels like being in rural Thailand. We stayed here overnight as we had a connecting flight the following morning, and felt we were able to start our holiday straight away. The restaurant was popular with local people, so it felt like a slice of real Thailand, and we loved the walk along the lake edge to see the sunset, and watching the fish feeding.

Nothing, great place to stay and would stay again when passing through the airport.

From the moment you arrive, staff is kind and helpful. Very clean room, all works fine. Its a little zen place with birds and fish and a little lake with trees and yet 12 minutes away from the airport. This is so much less stressful then when you are in the city with all the traffic jams. I liked the food. Iam a vegetarian so not many options, but they have. Also for vegans! They have a convenient shuttle bus for 200 bath to the airport. I will be back. 💚

Power of the shower, but it works!

We kind of unintentionally ended up getting their extra large, villa room, and it felt quite indulgent. It was spacious and pleasant, with a very generous shower and dressing area too. The bathroom basin was quite beautiful. The hair dryer was much more impressive than you usually find in hotels. Everything was very clean.i wasalso impressed by the bed linen; it appeared to be of a higher quality than the usual standard hotel bedding. The restaurant was great, wonderful food at very reasonable prices. The pineapple juice was amazing! We ate there for dinner both nights. There were local customers too, so they are evidently appreciated by the local community. Breakfast was good too. I'd expected a buffet, which turned out not to be the case. I was disappointed, but turned out to be wrong about that because they did an excellent job of supplying all sorts of delicious things. The restaurant is right by the water which is teeming with large fish and if you throw them some food, they go nuts, which was quite amusing. We stayed two nights. On our full day, they ordered a taxi for us, which was quick and cheap, to the closest station (on the airport to Bangkok line), and we had a fast and hassle free trip into Bangkok for the day. Of course if you wanted to stay for any decent length of time in Bangkok you'd want to stay more centrally, but given that our priority was to be close to the airport, this hotel was a very good compromise. The hotel also organised transport to the airport for us the morning we left, and it was comfortable and very quick.

There is not much to say against this place. There were a fair few tiny ghekkos in the room, though that might be a positive when you think that they presumably eat mosquitoes. They were kind of cute and kept to themselves.

The staff was very sweet ! Although we didn't get the chance to take a coffee there, I find the little coffee/waffle corner so lovely. We had a waffle at the restaurant for dessert and it was delicious ! Know that I'm very picky with it... ;) The food was great (evening + breakfast) and if you can eat outside by the pond, it's the best ! The room is simple, but it does the job. Close to the airport, so very convenient, and I didn't hear the planes that much.

It lacks a bit of "soul" in the room and in the restaurant.

Staff were incredibly accommodating and lovely. We felt personally looked after from start to finish. Not sure if it was good timing, but it was like we were the only people in the hotel) Beautiful place with a restaurant over a huge pond. Thousands of Catfish (which you can feed for just 20 baht, do it!) and birds nesting amongst the reeds. It really was tranquil. Both breakfast and dinner was some of the best food we’d eaten in the whole time we were in Thailand. Breakfast was a proper chef made waffles and lots of small plates. Location very close to the airport. Ideal spot to shake off your jet lag or to be close to fly home. Airport drop off was quick and cheap. The van was also big so room for lots of luggage. Rooms were reasonably sized, very cosy and great working air con. Room service available, we had our deserts brought up to the room (came in a very cute tray). Not the place to stay if you want to see Bangkok, but a recuperating day either side of the holiday is what this hotel is perfect for.

Location is basically in the middle of no where, amongst newly built housing units. Long walk to 7-11 along a dusty commercial road. If you’re stopping through, this likely won’t matter too much!)

I spent one night here before my flight from Suvarnabhumi Airport back home to Melbourne and from start to finish it was wonderful. As soon as I arrived at 11.30pm I was greeted at my taxi and they kindly carried my suitcase, and showed me to my air conditioned room which overlooked the garden area. The room had everything I needed and was extremely clean, comfortable and tastefully designed. Breakfast, which was made to order, was lovely, and served outside on the sheltered terrace / timber deck area. The hotel is set in a green landscape with lots of trees and a large pond, and has a sanctuary-like feel to it. I particularly liked the reception / cafe area which felt really cosy and welcoming, with comfy chairs and a sofa to relax on with a coffee. I spent about 5 hours there after check-out while I waited to leave for my evening flight (which they arranged a transfer for - 200THB) and had a really nice afternoon just relaxing and eating and drinking in their cafe and restaurant (both air conditioned which I valued enormously given the high temperatures outside). Everything is done with thought and care here, and the staff are the loveliest and most helpful you will find, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ploen Pirom to anyone looking for an oasis outside of the busyness of Bangkok.
