Everything. It was lovely. The staff are so warm and welcoming, the bed was displayed with a welcome sign on it which was such a beautiful touch. They also upgraded our room to a suite room which was unbelievably beautiful. The pool is stunning and the view at night is breathtaking. The bathroom is so spacious and the bath tub is so big! I loved my stay here. Freedom beach and paradise beach are also walkable distance and are definitely worth the hike down! They are both beautiful. Thanks so much for a great stay Baan Yin Dee. I hope to stay again and will recommend to anyone I know to stay with you! .

The Baan Yin Dee resort was such a pleasure. Great view, pool and the hospitality was warming and comforting. V was so helpful to accommodate your needs. We also got breakfast included in our stay and it was so yummy especially with the choices they offer you 10/10. My only advice to those wanting to stay there is to hire a scooter for your stay as it is on a hill and it is about 1-2km long, But you have great access to beaches along the road. 10/10 for Room, 10/10 for service, 10/10 for pool and view. I have read many reviews prior to staying at the Baan Yin Dee and read many conflicting reviews, I can agree with some of them but I have to say I really enjoyed my stay. The place could do with a bit of a general upgrade but I was looking for a Thai style resort and to be honest that's exactly what it is. The hotel was extremely clean the staff were amazing and did anything to make you stay amazing. A special thanks to V for going above and beyond. The location is a but of a hike so if your looking for something more convenient to patong beach Rd it's probably not for you but the hotel has a shuttle and we were happy to pay for a tuk tuk which cost between 200- 300 baht. I would not hesitate staying there again.

I can't say I didn't like anything, only that it could do with a paint job oh and softer mattress.

Very silent ( except the deep and loud sounds of frogs from the wood in the backyard) The stuff is very polite and helpful Nice swimming pool area

Old furnitures made in wood so make noice the pavement when u walk in the room, doors cannot close easily on the balcony so bugs can easily enter,stuff hardly speak English and also worst to understand them because of their pronunciation. In theory the distance from the “city Center and Patong beach” is not big, but in practice is it because it is on a hill and every time u have to pay for a tuk tuk or taxi because otherwise is 20 min uphill walking.The taxi charges 200-300 Bath per way to Patong beach area.

Fantastic big bedroom and extra large bathroom. So many pools that were clean and well maintained. Looked after by some lovely staff. Special mention to Mel C and Joy in the Restaurant and V and Rimi at Reception

Distance from shopping,Patong Beach and Bangla Road . The hotel has transportation to/from Patong every few hours from 11am until 8.15pm.

It’s a very quirky Vibe Very near to the Patong beach 8 mins by taxi They’ve a shuttle service goes 3 times a day and back free of cost The food and view is amazing from the restaurant. The staff is very helpful and polite. Grab also delivers food there if Incase hungry after mid night. They’ve an amazing marble bath tub which is exceptional and never seen before. Very private for couples Do visit atleast 1s in your life time.

Great location. Short 20 minute walk downhill to the beach area. Lots of taxis to bring you back up if you don’t like uphill. Hotel was quiet and very clean. Staff were great- I locked myself out of room safe and they were able to send someone to help me.

We stayed in BYD for 6 nights. Overall, everything was fantastic from the room to the staff at reception, breakfast and housekeeping. Staffs are very smiley, friendly and not intrusive. V attended to us and few of the staff which we didn’t get the name are fantastic. Amazing Thai hospitality!

Nothing at all. We were so busy during our trip. The only fault is the phone line in the room which was not working but it’s not a big deal to us. In general, it is the time for the owner to restore the the hotel to its former glory.

Gorgeous hotel considering the super fair price of the stay (if you google AMANPURI you'll notice certain -budget- architectural inspiration, which is highly appreciated), room felt more spacious than in pictures and pools are delightful. Nice attention and staff always helpful when needed, they even gave us great tips for our tours. I recommend the included breakfast, it’s very vast.

For drinks, lunch and dinner, I found more interesting and higher-than-average flavors outside the hotel. Access to the main Patong beach is close, but hard to get by walk.

Location was a bit far from the centre of Patong, but this was actually nice in some respects as it was more peaceful. It is also cooler up on the hill with the sea breeze. The resort is beautiful in a traditional Thai style. The staff were really lovely and very helpful. The pool is really nice. Loved having Youtube/Netflix on the TV.

The rooms are quite dark and it’s hard to see properly. The bathroom needs better lighting. It’s hard to get ready to go out when you can’t really see yourself in the mirror.
