Everything was perfect! The hotel is great, there are three big pools. At night there is live music downstairs. The breakfast was good, very friendly staff. The room is spacious with everything that you might need. The neighborhood is wonderful, close to a night market, walking distance to the beach, plus they offer a free transfer to if you don’t want to walk. Again, every interaction that we had with the staff was positive. I had an issue with my grab and the girls at reception came out to help me out and they did not leave until the problem was solved, which took around half an hour. They were so patient and kind. Ao and Suay, thank you so much! You are both amazing!

We booked for 3 people. But there was only 2 coffee and tea in the room. Also there was no toothbrush and paste.

Room was comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly, helpful and responsive to my complaint about the room air conditioning not working - they fixed it quickly. Convenient location - liked the Kata Street Food Market nearby - great to eat there daily. Liked the Watson pharmacy near by which had a good selection of skincare products. 7-Eleven close by also provided access to ATMs which was a plus.

Pool - pool was disappointing. Not a pool one would want to hang out. Bathroom - the water leaked out of the shower that wet the floor. Would be nice if the shower water didn't leak out all over the bathroom floor. Noise - my room was near construction side. Wasn't bothered by construction noise but a rooster that crowed consistently at 5am and woke me up every single day. Soundproofing in the room would be ideal or getting rid of the rooster!

It says it's very close to the beach, but there isn't direct beach access that close.

It's a good location for Kata but if you plan to go multiple times to central phuket or the airport. It will be a long ride.

It is a modern hotel in a great central location with excellent friendly and helpful staff. Room service was excellent for snacks. The room that I stayed in was a 1 bedroom apartment and was fitted with all kitchen appliances which were in spotless condition. It is 10 mins walk to the beautiful Kata Yai beach. I would certainly stay again on any future visit to Kata.

Staff are all amazing and friendly. Room spacious and cleaned daily Inc fresh towels. Parking on site. Choice of swimming pools and excellent food availability, including room service. International tv in room Inc. bonus of a small rooftop gym. Perfect for a 1 month stay.

Noise is a problem with huge construction sites adjacent. Builders work 7 days a week from early hours.

Great facilities, great location for Kata and Karon area. Really enjoyed our stay and we had a wonderful honeymoon welcome. Thank you Grand Kata VIP team!

Great location. Clean room with comfortable bed and fab shower. Breakfast was OK with plenty of choice.

Used the material /disposable slippers in the room. Thought at the end of the holiday that I would pack them and re use them as after wearing them a week they were personal to me and I'm sure no one else would want to wear them. On check out a man was waiting at our room door. He phoned to reception and said a pair of slippers was missing... I was dumbfounded...

Nice breakfast. Pleasant room. Long swimming pool & kids swimming pool. Most of all, great location!!! 10min walk to Kata beach! Many places to eat and shop around. Night Market was fun and exciting.

Not many staff were smiling. Lack of service mind.
