Resort location e.g. near Kata beach, shops, restaurants, motorbike for rents, etc. The female receptionist at the front desk was very helpful in printing our flight boarding passes, confirming our airport transportation via email as my mobile phone was malfunctioning during my stay there.

It is mentioned in the description the breakfast spreads are HALAL but bacon was served (at the egg station and at the buffet line as crispy bacon). As a Muslim traveller, I felt it was not fair to advertise the hotel serving HALAL food as this would not be a suitable resort options for other Muslim travellers like me.

We had a great time of 9 days! A very nice welcome at the reception and restaurant. The room was nice and we had a nice view to the pool and sunset. The breakfast was good and enough variation during our stay. Tasty selection of fresh juices. If something didn’t work in the room it got fixed and the stuff asked if all is fine now. The location of the was close to the beach and not too far from the night market. We got a breakfast basket when we left early.

Bed comfort. Bathroom tub very nice. Quiet evenings and a nice balcony o enjoy the evening breeze

The pool was a bit weird because if you swim you see everyone looking from their balconies. Also. The walk to the beach is much further than Google maps or the hotel staff suggest. Still worth it.

The staff were stellar. Everyone went over and beyond to make our stay great. Eye and Pui were exceptional. We got invited for christmas dinner with them as well.

Great location. 5min from Kata beach. Lots of shops and cafés around. Swimming pool is the highlight. Go for pool access rooms. We spent hours in the pool back and forth between the room and the bar. Great cocktails at the bar, fantastic food including vegetarian! Very reasonable prices. Staff is very helpful. Allowed us late checkout on request. They are willing to help with your tour bookings as well. We got complimentary wine on first day, 2 cocktails daily and hi-tea daily - all complimentary. Our room package was breakfast inclusive. Served from 6:30-11am. Limited veg options but great overall.

Nothing! But it felt like the non-pool-access rooms would be super boring.

Excellent well run resort. Staff were fabulous from morning till night. Nice relaxing atmosphere here. Great position and within easy reach of the beach (literally a few mins walk - Kata Beach). Easy to get to Karon beach (just down the road) and 30 mins away is Patong (a must see for an evening). Overall great location, great staff, great food. The place grew on us the longer we stayed and staff couldn't do enough.

More spaced out sunbeds - could make more use of the area just next to the restaurant. Could also fit a small table a few chairs in all the swim-up rooms patio areas! We had two of them - and they were lovely! Definitely recommend to book and pay the extra - it's worth it.

The location is close to the beach and it is very far from the airport.

Bed linen is not clean. As well as the staff enter the room without permission with a Do Not Disturb board on the door.

-staff were great, really helpful and super pleasant. -the room was the best room I’ve stayed in throughout my time travelling Thailand, words won’t do the room any justice but it was incredible. -perfect location to kata beach, which has the most incredible sunset where hundreds of people gather to watch it in the evenings and it has a really cool surfer vibe there.

-you have to pay a cash deposit on arrival which isn’t mentioned on here. -swimming pool was dirty and the outside area in general just looks neglected. there is a raised area with sun beds on and I honestly hadn’t seen sun beds as battered as those in throughout my time travelling Thailand. however kata beach is perfect so we didn’t need to use the pool area but if you are looking for somewhere to lay down then the pictures on here are fairly misleading

Still at awe at the amazing hospitality and service we received during our time at Chanalai Romantica. Rooms were beautiful, spacious, clean, and comfortable. Location was perfect with lots of options for food in the area, day trips departing from the area, and in close proximity to all "must sees" in Phuket. However, the kindness and attentiveness from the staff is what blew us away. Specifically, Eye and Mint were so hospitable from the moment we met, always made sure we were comfortable and our needs were being met, and all around kind people, we will miss them and this place so much!

The hotelroom was STU-NNING: really really beautiful and super big! The prettiest room I've ever stayed in! Our welcome was nice; we had a welcome drink/ice cream and the FO Agent was funny! I also liked the swimming pool. The hotel was pretty close to the beach, 7-Eleven and other tourist shops!

The Front Office staff was not very informative. They couldn’t give us the right advice/suggestions. I also had a bad check-out experience. Check-out time is at 12:00 and at that time they prioritized checking a whole group in and let me wait??? Super chaotic and not guest friendly at all and our transfer was already waiting for us…
