The room is very spacious and it has a well equipped kitchen. The huge window with the enormous city view is great. The bed is comfortable and there are different types of pillows to suit your needs. The swimming pool is large and has a good view too.

The design of the hotel is good, but most of the facilities are not user friendly and the workmanship and the maintenance is not good. For example, the bathroom has no ventilation, the auto-washing toilet seat board is too small, the drainage of the bathtub is broad, the stairs to the upstairs loss, the lighting system is too high-tech to use it properly. The main problem is that the lift is not direct to your floor, so you have to bring our luggage walking up and down the stairs to the rooms. Actually this is a very nice designed hotel located in a quiet and a great view area. If they have a good management and maintenance team, I think they can do great.

The location of the hotel is a little out of the way, but the hotel provided free shuttle bus to 3 major attractions nearby on a regular basis. The hotel itself was very clean and well maintained, the room was amazing with great view and the breakfast had great options that meet more than our expectations. The staff were very helpful with organizing taxis, tours etc. Note, some floors still have steps to get to you room so if you have luggage you will have to carry them up and down on arrival/checkout.

If there’s one aspect that is potentially negative is the lack of lift access to the rooms. There’s a main lift that takes you from the reception area directly to fifth floor, where the restaurant and access to the swimming pool and rooms is. However, the rooms are generally on the 3rd and 4th floor, with no lift access. That means on arrival and departure you’d have to carry your luggage up and down those stairs. It wasn’t a big deal for us, but it just takes away the perfect 10 score. Also bear in mind the access road to the hotel is very steep and use of taxi to the front lobby is essential.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The room was well thought, spacious with all the amenities needed. We loved the breakfast option and setting. Additionally, the free parking was a nice addition considering the location and the big hill, we didn't try walking in or out, so the use of car was easier. It may be a bit further from the old city but the great view and swimming pool makes up for it.

Even though our room and the breakfast area was fine, the general building could use a bit of a refresh and some cleaning. Considering we didn't visit during the busy touristic period we didn't mind at all. But we are sure that with some maintenance work it would look perfect.

The staff were kind and friendly. They were very helpful. Special shout out to Best the tour guide, he worked really hard to make us feel welcome. They truly are very wonderful.

My room was located close to a tank outside so there was a noise that I couldn't do anything anything about.

Breakfast was great! -- It had a full & complete buffet; and not only did they allow me to take it to dine in my room alone with my wife, but the whole thing was pretty much all for just one low price! )) The bathroom was lovely and very clean, with a nice large shower stall that was not cramped in anyway for space to wash and then dry off! ))

The one thing we did not like, was the fact that regular tv programming, news, or movie channels were not available for watching at all! --- And this was in spite of the fact that both TVs were large, smart, flat TVs. -- They were set and programmed to only promote & advertise the Hotels' special services & offerings! ((

Friendly staff, especially the shuttle driver to old town Phuket. Very quiet to sleep at night, in a mountain with fresh air morning and night. Price is good! It’s also safe for solo travelers, I arrived at 10:40pm at the airport and they arranged an airport pickup for me alone. I got to the hotel around 11:30pm safe and sound!

Fantastic resort on the hill and well designed, very clean and sufficient for our stay. Rooms are very spacious, clean and new, staff are amazing and exceptionally patient, helpful, and very accomodating with all our requests and enquiries. Breakfast at the Plearn restaurant was great with good views overlooking the city and the sea. Beautiful infinity pool overlooking the islands and sea. The gym, yoga classes, and cooking classes are a differentiator if you’re looking to something interesting and different (for additional costs), particularly for relaxation and wellness. They also offer excursions which can also be organised separately. Free Shuttle services to Phuket town and Chillva market which runs regularly. A little hidden gem for those looking for quiet, calm peaceful resort, value for money, very decent and good location.

The location was picturesque; whilst it was a fair distance from town, restaurants or attractions it was the perfect place to stay and unwind. The place was not packed with tourists and whilst there were other guests staying and using the facilities there was always enough room to move, sit, have privacy etc. The breakfast options were plentiful and the staff were happy to meet requests and/or to assist when needed. The outdoor seating for the restaurant was perfect; tranquil with comfortable seating and great views. The pool was always clean and had towels available for guests; the view from the pool was exquisite. The free shuttle to and from Town was a very unique experience and quite convenient for going to and fro without having to pay extra costs.

There was absolutely nothing that we didn't like. Hilltop met all our needs and went above and beyond our expectations.

The bathroom smelled a bit like sewage especially when the exhaust fan was on. And the faucet is not large enough for the sink so it's hard to wash your hands if you have large hands without banging into the basin
