The location, proximity to the harbour! On the most beautiful beach. The room despite other reviews was exceptionally clean. Not luxury but clean and for the price perfect

It's got nothing to do with the hotel. The island does have dogs. They can be aggressive with eachother but these dogs live here. I saw another review saying the dogs should be taken away. They are loved and fed. They are island dogs so not exactly manicured but they are very friendly. If your not a dog lover go elsewhere

If you want a great value resort with a pool that is beachfront - with breakfast included (!) Then this is the place. We loved it here and felt so welcome - we will definitely return.

Very good location. Nice beach. Island centre nearby / in a short 3min walking distance. Pier nearby / in a 10min walking distance. Consider renting a scooter to drive to Charlie Beach. Book a trip to Emerald Cave, this is a cool adventure. And if not visited before, take a day trip to Ko Krdan. Hotel reception will kindly help you with boat and scooter rental. Miss Island Bakery nearby is probably the best restaurant ir Thailand. Dont miss the opportunity to have a dinner there.

Some rennovation probably needed to make the place look and feel nicer. Beds were quite uncomfortable. Breakfast was sad. 🤪

The location was excellent, nice beach close walk into town for shops, bars and restaurants. A short walk along the beach to a couple of nice restaurants. Room spacious with fabulous views.

Room tired and things missing. Not a friendly welcome and no information we found out on the last day you could get an omelette and beach towels. The resort is so tired they are investing in pool rooms but you would not pay the price due to the general up keep and lazy staff. Never once did they clear a table at breakfast or ask if you needed anything. Also the sea goes out a long way so the pool would have been welcome but green around the edges and dirty. Some paint for the roofs of the bungalows, paint around the pool and lights and a good tidy up would make this resort pretty special

The location, the sand. Was allowed to check in early and to check out late.

Not much that was good about this place and we don’t recommend it.

It was ants in the room and the basin, toilet and mirror was aweful. The water in the shower didn’t go down the pipe so the whole floor got wet and slippery. The stairway to the room on 2nd floor was a little bit dangerous. The breakfast was bad, ants at the fruit and marmelaid. If you are vegan, vegetarian or don’t want to eat sugar there’s not much you can eat. The pathway to the village was awful, smelled really bad and they put the trash on fire which smelled and caused headache. The imam start the prayercall at 05 in the morning and that’s not nice to wake up to. The beach at the resort was dirty with alot of trash, so we walked to the beach at Sivalai Resort.

The only ‘good’ thing was it was on/just in from the beach.

The messy entrance, reception seemed surprised we arrived, the beach bungalow was tiny (sitting on couch you had to but your feet on the bed!), bathroom door couldn’t close/had to kick it to open it, hard bed, needs serious renovation. Right next door to mosque with LOUD speaker prayers from 5am with dogs joining in with howling. Paid for six nights and stayed for one. Breakfast was a toasted sandwich with a coffee. Absolutely nothing. it was literally like a nightmare.

The room was beyond dirty with worms on the floor and the pillow cases had huge disgusting stains. We never got the keys to our room because they didn’t find them in the “reception” which was also very messy and dirty. The water smelled like rotten eggs, we had to buy bottles of water to freshen up ourselves this morning since we were not gonna take a shower with the water from the hotel. We were unable to sleep inside the sheets of the bed because everything was so dirty, the walls, the windows, the bathroom, the bed linen… EVERYTHING!! At 5:00 am they played very loudly on huge speakers a prayer all through the complex and then again at 6:00 am, it woke us up. Everything in the premises of the hotel looked old and dirty and broken. I needed to borrow a pen and a paper from the reception, they didn’t have anything and the reception was made a mess, there’s no personal and the only person who is in the reception, doesn’t speak any English at all.
