Really the nicest resort on the island. It is at the end of the beach in the most beautiful part, and it is much more private, without the daytrippers filling up the beach. There is also a really nice stretch of coral reef right in front of the resort, about a 100 metre wade offshore with clownfish in anemones and parrot fish - really beautiful for snorkelling. The room was brand new, and all have beach views. It's an island where everything is more expensive, but it is worth it. Plus the included breakfast was excellent.

Calm resort without all the additional day tourists that occupied the beach further south. Nice reef to snorkle on right outside the resort. We tried the reefs further south but the Mali reef was preferred. Nice italian restaurant next door, if you crave a good pizza after too much Thai food. The breakfast was nice as well with plenty options. The Mali restaurant was also good.

The beds in some of the rooms were very hard (as is often the case in Thailand). We move room due to broken AC so our family tried three rooms. 1 out of 3 had a soft bed (the middle standard suite). The superior bungalow hard a very hard bed. Food is a bit pricy, but that was expected, and the luckily quality follows.

Unbeatable location on the beach at Koh Kradan with pristine turquoise sea and soft white sand. Loved that each room has its own sunbeds on the beach out front. Comfortable beds and sofa, and the long-tail boat trip to Koh Rok was great - incredible snorkelling, crystal clear sea, healthy diverse coral and loads of fish. Don’t miss it.

The details still require work - our deluxe Villa was pleasant but starting to look tired while still having builder’s marks on the shower glass. Breakfast was a bit chaotic - not enough staff so once the buffet trays emptied that was it: go early! Thai food was decent, western food pretty much vanished off the menu when the chef went to Bangkok for a couple of days! But these are just minor irritants that fade in the face of that location, which is what this place is really about.

The resort is located in a quiet (and in my opinion the most beautiful) part of the beach. The bungalows are tastefully and very practically equipped. I must highlight the very comfortable beds. I haven't slept so well while traveling in a long time. The staff is very nice and helpful. The resort has an excellent restaurant offering Italian cuisine. Their pizza is absolutely excellent. I have never had such good pizza in Thailand (where on earth did they get such excellent porcini mushrooms here). I can recommend the resort with a clear conscience to all lovers of peace, relaxation and good food.

We were looking for good snorkeling and the reef at Koh Kradan delivered. You can snorkel from the shore though high tide will be a bit of a swim. Breakfast was really good - omelets, pancakes, bacon, ham, fruit, yogurt, etc. They just added a fancy coffee maker. The island is quiet, no shopping, just beach, water, sunrises and sunsets. We hiked to the west side of the island to watch the sunset twice and that was nice. Owner/manager Derrick was super helpful and nice and all the staff are friendly. There were kayaks and paddleboards to use for free. Hope to go back on day.

We stayed in two different rooms. One was excellent, one was okay. The vast majority of the bungalows are great but we had one of the older side by side rooms for part of our stay. The bed was comfy but the room was a bit small. But again other than rooms 1-3 everything else is super.

Quietness, location, staff helpfulness, cleanliness, beds, breakfast. Sam was also great and gave us some helpful tips.

English of the staff could be improved. As soon as you request something out of the ordinary the communication is not very good. For a resort of this price class and given the remoteness we also expected it to have some basic medical supplies. E.g we asked for a thermometer and they didn't have one. Food variety of the restaurant could also be improved.

Fantastic beach, sun beds, and view - the room was very spacious and comfortable. Bathroom very good. Our villa (10) was in the best position just a few yards from the sun beds which were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Pond.

The welcome was brief - no welcome drink as in other resorts. No hand towel ( though this may be a conservation issue). Soap was minuscule. Breakfast was a bunfight first thing - some shortages later on. No cakes!! Menu is ok but not very extensive.

Feel like this is THE best spot on the island. I’ve travelled the world and it’s getting harder to find those “Robinson Crusoe” types of escapes. Here’s one… Mali is on one end of Ko Kradan. Seems to enjoy a constant breeze which matters as that means less mosquitoes and more comfort and quiet. The rooms and grounds were the prettiest and very well appointed. You have everything you need: a mini fridge, water, coffee, towels (I kept getting more and more towels). The “patio” are of the bungalows are lovely. The beach is stunning. The water even more so. There are trees, flowers, everything is just quite gorgeous. And you won’t notice it… “magically” all the leaves from the trees are raked from the beach. Cut green grass stretches across the property. Grounds are Immaculate. The bar and restaurant are also lovely. Go barefoot. Relax. Mali has a sense of place and offers that feeling of escape. Owners are always in site and engaged. Personnel is extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast offers Thai and western options (try the Thai — it’s why you’re here). Restaurants serves tasty and solid Thai meals (the southern yellow curry soup will set you on fire 🔥) as well as western comfort food. The fruit shakes are yummy and the best is the mango sticky rice. From the moment you arrive you will be taken care of. It’s either there or they will help you. Leave your shoes, wallet, key, etc. In your room and unplug. Water is perfect temperature at all times and flat for swimming. Just relax, smile and if you need anything ask: ice cream, snorkels, kayaks, tours, drop off to the port, or to be left alone. Please note: Prices on this island are higher than other parts of Thailand as everything must be brought in. That said, you’re still going to pay soooo much less than anything you would in the west.

Amazing location right on the beach with a lot of privacy, super helpful hosts, and free kayaks and snorkels. Our bungalow felt very luxurious with a lovely sea view terrace and a small section the beach to ourselves with sun loungers. The resort is spread out accross the best part of the beach and every bungalow has a sea view. The restaurant has a really good menu and an Italian chef for amazing pizzas and pasta. The Thai food is also really good and all the other staff are locals. Can’t wait to come back
