I stayed at 8 Rooms House for a little more than 2 weeks, and I also worked from my room every weekday. I can say that it was a very comfortable stay. The host (Neslihan Hanim) was amazing! She did her best to make her guests feel comfortable. She was always kind, helpful and positive. Sakine Hanim, who was responsible for cleaning, was also great. They offer laundry and ironing services (with a small fee). And the room was cleaned on a regular basis. There is always water, tea, and coffee in the communal kitchen area (free of charge). There are also tables where you can have your breakfast. The location is very convenient. It is close to the Agora Shopping Centre, Teleferik, markets, and bakeries (delicious!). There is a kettle and a small fridge in the room. My room was on the first floor, and it had a balcony. It was nice to sit on the balcony on hot summer evenings. I'd definitely stay there again.

There is no lift. But my room was just on the first floor, so it was not a problem.

The room was spacious and comfy. The bathroom was very clean and in good working condition. Yes, there is a patio door to the bathroom, but it was okay. There is a self service kitchen with ground coffee, which was nice to find in the morning. No breakfasts though. The area around is very nice with lots of cafes, coffee shops, restaurants within walking distance. There is also a park nearby if you need to take your dog out. Oh, and they are dog friendly!

We didn't understand at first how to get in, then we entered through the backyard and found no one at the reception. Turns out we just needed to call the hostess on the phone. I don't mind, but wish there was a note about it somewhere. The floor in the room was not very clean, walking on it in white socks just once showed that it could use a wet mop. The windows are facing the street and there is a mosque very nearby, so you'll probably be woken up at sunrise with a prayer. Power outlets are only on one side of the bed.

It’s so clean and comfortable. It’s really hot outside so air conditioner helped me a lot. Bathroom is also huge and clean. The owner is kind and speaks English so it’s okay if you cannot speak any Turkish. There is a public space which has kitchen and terrace. You can drink coffee and tea. Location is also good. There are a couple markets nearby and you can walk to the subway station.

I visited German Consulate in Izmir, so 8 Rooms House was the best choise to stay in that location. The place was great, clean with huge bathroom, AC, TV, wardrobe etc. All furniture is new and comfortable. I checked in late, so personnel had left a key in special safe at the front door, also they attached the phone number in case of any questions. It was very convenient. Hotel stuff was super friendly and you can get free shacks, coffee and tea in the morning.

Very friendly people, nice rooms, very comfortable. Koffee, tea and biscuits available at all time. The location is a bit far from the center but in a nice area near the university.

Just minor things, everything I asked for was immediately taken care of. the owner is very friendly and helpful!

Choosing 8 rooms house was the best decision of my trip to Turkey. It was located at a convenient location and it was a very warm , cozy and quiet place. Neslihan was very kind and welcoming. She was always helpful. It's a place where you feel very relaxed, even though you are away from home.

Clean and comfortable. Open area for breakfast, free coffee/tea. Very close to the economic university. Easy access to the Metro station. Food market and bakery nearby. Very kind and helpful host.

Everything was great. The bed was very comfy, the bathroom was large with a luxurious feeling. The room and the whole place in general was beautifully decorated, and the hostess was super friendly. Really loved our stay there, even though it was just overnight.

Because of the plastic (or similar) roof, the attic room we got used to get way too warm during the day and not even the air conditioning managed to keep the temperature at acceptable level
