I recently stayed at a wonderful hotel located right in the center of Göreme, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The location is perfect, with all the main activities within walking distance. Whether you're exploring the stunning rock formations, visiting museums, or booking a hot air balloon ride, everything is conveniently close by. There are also numerous restaurants in the vicinity, offering a wide variety of delicious dining options. From traditional Turkish cuisine to international dishes, there's something to satisfy every craving. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The breakfast served each morning was very good, providing a great start to our day with a variety of tasty options. A special mention must go to the hotel owner, Mehmet-bay. He is a very nice person who put in a lot of effort to make our stay unforgettable. His assistance and genuine care for the guests truly made a difference. If you're looking for a centrally located hotel in Göreme with excellent service, friendly staff, and a great breakfast, this is the place to stay. Highly recommended!

We had a beautiful stay for a few days in the house. The room was very neat and clean. They also served breakfast, which had a lot of options . Moreover, the host was very lovely and a humble soul. We would visit this place again for the future stay❤️

You must stay here for an authentic Cappadocia experience. The owner, Mehmet, and his staff plus family members could not be more accommodating. The decor of the rooms, with the stone walls and floors, made me happy we chose this former family home. Slept well in the comfy bed. Outside each floor was a balcony. How excited we were to see the balloons flying down close to us. Excellent breakfast buffet with a hot entree each day of omelette or meneman, an egg, tomato and pepper dish. Only one block walk to the downtown shoppes and restaurant. We were surrounded by magnificent views of the Goreme Open Air museum. You can walk most places but we had a car. Mehmet made sure we a,ways had a place to park.

The stone stairs are a little steep for me, as I am older. My only issue was a lack of banister between the lobby and the first floor.

Our stay at this hotel was nothing amazing! Mehmet was an absolute star throughout our visit. Despite heavy snowfall and disruptions that made it challenging to get around, he went above and beyond to ensure we reached the airport on time, even with multiple changes to our plans. His kindness, patience, and helpful nature made a stressful situation so much easier. The hotel itself is stunning, with rooms designed in a charming wooden style that perfectly captures the essence of Cappadocia. Every detail of the décor feels warm and inviting, adding a unique and authentic touch to the experience. From the cozy ambiance to the exceptional hospitality, everything about our stay was wonderful. Thank you to Mehmet and the entire team for making our trip unforgettable. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

What really stood out, however, was the staff. From the moment we arrived, the team was incredibly welcoming and attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, providing helpful recommendations and making us feel at home throughout our stay. I will add to all the positive comments here cuz we also had the best stay in Cappadocia. The hotel is cute and homy and sits just about 5 mins from the center. Firstly, I appreciate Mr. Mehmet for being so responsive to my questions even before coming. He also helped us book our balloon ride which was really convenient and turned out to be very memorable for us, and our Green Tour, where we woke up late 😬 but he still managed to find a way for us to catch up with the group. 🥹 The tour was also fun! Secondly, the room was really well-equipped. There’s a little vanity and a water heater—the other hotels we stayed in only had either one of the two. Their breakfast was also appetizing and had a really good view of Goreme. 🍳 Thirdly, I was able to make my Pinterest dream come true thanks to their cute balcony 🥹🧡 It was a really warm stay all in all. Good breakfast with many options. Great location just 5 minutes from the center with many restaurants and shops that are within walking distance. The terrace is well decorated and a perfect spot to watch the hot air balloons during sunrise. I like the own personal touches that the owner has everywhere. The shower had good water pressure

We booked the deluxe double room and it was quite muggy and hot in the room especially in the afternoon in the middle of summer. It seemed to be more like a portable AC instead of an in-unit AC. The owner was accommodating and helped us replace the AC which was quieter but it was still pretty hot. I would just suggest booking the another room type if you’re staying in the summer.

I had the pleasure of staying at Old Town Stone House and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Nestled at the heart of Cappadocia center. It blends comfort and classic charm. Rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious and equiped with all amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. They went extra miles to ensure my comfort, also offering recommandation for local activities. The hotel serves incredible breakfast with a wide variety op delicious Turkish food, with a beautiful view on the city. The location is unbeatable, it is a walking distance of the city center. I highly recommand it to anyone as it is has the best price quality value.

We stayed in many fantastic hotels during our 11-day trip in Turkiye, but Old Town Stone House was the best! The breakfast is fit for kings, and the terrace has a spectacular view of the balloons. The decor is old-timey, romantic, and highlights the best of Turkiye. It's a place built and maintained with a lot of love. Mehmet and his staff went above and beyond in making us feel welcome and comfortable. It was a pleasure to chat with them every morning at breakfast. Mehmet got us a great last-minute deal for the hot-air balloon ride, which was the highlight of our trip. He also has the best tips for food, shopping, and local activities. I loved my stay here so much, I was teary-eyed during check-out. Hope we can come back again some day :)

Location, ambience, facilities, cleanliness and service. I could sense the passion and love of the owner, Mr Mehmed, in maintaining the place and the services provided. Breakfast was excellent. This was the best breakfast I ever had. Keep going! You should stay here and experience their hospitality!

No lift but there are no lifts in that area is what I was told due to some reasons. Abdullah helped with the luggage. Nice boy!
