The shared room with the bunkers bed of 4 was very nice. Good value of Money. Really recommended. It has a great site view and sitting area all famous places are approachable at walking distance. Don't not by any thing from the airport. Take Havist bus # D12 from airport to Aksary station it's the last stop of the bus service. Walking 1 minutes you can find the T1 station to travel sultanahmet or take a taxi which will be around 50-60 lira. Make sure you have translator service from Google Turks struggling with English language speaking. Negotiation is mandatory if you are interested buying something and be aware of scammers in the city. Ask police for help if needed. Buying a metro card from sultanahmet station machine is recommended as it's at the price of 100 lira and airport guys will charge 500 for the same card with 10 free rides only. They charge security deposit to have 🔐 but it's safe to have your own lock to put on the items you store.

Location within the budget price is fairly justified. The only thing that was not comfortable was the head space for the top bed on the bunkers. You can't sit straight up as the head strikes the roof cleaning. They don't provide towels. One must bring your own.

I recently stayed at Antique Hostel in Istanbul and had a wonderful experience. As someone who is always concerned about bed bugs in hostels, I was relieved to read the positive reviews about cleanliness and hygiene at Antique Hostel. Upon booking, I reached out to the staff to request a lower bed due to my fear of heights, and they were incredibly accommodating and assigned me a suitable bed. The location of the hostel is perfect, as it is conveniently situated near all the main attractions and there is easy access to public transportation. This made exploring Istanbul a breeze. I never had to worry about getting around the city. While there are a few areas for improvement, I hope the management takes these suggestions constructively. The Wi-Fi connection sometimes experienced interruptions and became slow, so it would be great if the management could work on improving the stability and speed of the internet. Additionally, it would be helpful if they provided towels, even if it came at an extra charge. Having this option would save travelers the hassle of carrying their own towels. One aspect that impressed me was the breakfast provided at the hostel. Considering the price, the breakfast was excellent. It offered a good variety of options and ensured that guests started their day with a satisfying meal. Lastly, I would like to address fellow hostel guests. It is important to follow the rules of the hostel and respect the privacy of others. I encountered an unpleasant incident where someone knocked on the bathroom door while I was inside and then turned off the light. This kind of behavior is disrespectful and ruins the experience for everyone. If you need a private toilet, it is better to book a full room instead of a shared one. Overall, I highly recommend Antique Hostel for its friendly and accommodating staff, convenient location, and good value for money. With a few improvements, such as the Wi-Fi and towel availability,

I stayed in Antique Hostel for my first 3 nights in Istanbul. Glad that I chose to stay here. The receptionist(s) were friendly and can converse in good English so surely you would have no trouble communicating. I stayed in the 6 bed-room and apparently the space is a little bit tighter that what I was expecting. But for the price paid, I'm not complaining. The cook/housekeeping lady were also very polite and sweet. I checked out slightly later but she was most accomodating to let me take my time. They served typical Turkish breakfast but the sea view from the rooftop dining hall is excellent! I purposefully looking for a hostel as I was traveling alone. Made some friends in my room and we had a great time going around the city together. The location is PERFECT! It is so close to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia and the access to Sultanahmet tram station. But if you are going to commute via public transport to the hostel, it would be best if you use backpack coz most of the streets heading to the hostel is cobblestone pavements. I don't mind coming here the second time.

Other facilities were good but the aircond in the 6 bed-room needs to be upgraded.

Within sultanahmet area so literally few steps away from everything! I loved my room it feels fancy and underrated! Even my friend who was in a VC with me said it looked fancy! I was amazed by how fluent with english the young guy receptionist was, he was on a day shift. The old receptionist guy from night shift even surprised me with a sparkler and a mini cupcake when I went home after partying and i told him I had a good night because it was my birthday! Lovely guy! ❤️

I stayed for 3 nights and nobody bothered to give me clean towels, I had to keep on messaging them and disturb on the front desk to ask for some. One receptionist kinda mistook me for asking for some extras and he kept on telling me I needed to pay for it, he finally gave me one for free when I insisted Im not asking for extra but it seems fair for me to ask for clean towels as it is 4days3N stay and I never got any replacement. I also had to insist i needed cleaning in my room and he told me off that they do cleaning on a daily basis it’s impossible i never had one, I said you can check my room (as my bin is full and I even had two more bags of trash piled up) or the CCTV to prove my claim that I never had one.

The location was 3-4minutes away from Aya Sofia, Blue Mosque and Sultanahmet square. The room was not to big (as other the hotels in this area), but enough for sleeping and having a shower. The location had a terrace, perfect for sunrise watching. The breakfast was not "fancy" but fresh and it had enough food.

During the night it was a little bit noisy because of the cars on the street, eventhough during the day there street was closed with a barrier.

I stayed in this hostel for 3 days, and it was above and beyond my expectations. The washrooms are clean, and the rooms are both clean and affordable. The reception staff are warm, welcoming, and helpful in every way, whether it's with inquiries or lifting my heavy luggage. The terrace has a beautiful river view, and the breakfast is great—filling and tasty. It’s the cherry on the cake. The location is amazing, close to stores, the entire market, the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and everything else you might want to visit. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay at affordable prices. Additionally, they are flexible with time. My flight got delayed, and they offered me to stay as long as I needed on the terrace, making it feel like home.

no bidet in toilet and just found out it happens in turkiye in general. you guys need to write down the direction to the hostel from IST airport as simple as take bus from airport to aksarai, then follow the tram line down to blue mosque, take a walk in between aya sofia (left) and blue mosque (right) until the information/ police station, turn right then left. take the second right Antique hostelnis 100m left side. with the same price a friend got a room with bosphorus view, i got in the basement the price it showed in booking.com is denied. so you'd be surprised you pay more on site. the drink water taste chlorides quite strong

There is a very good location in the old city center near by Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Very tasty breakfasts was also included in this property. P.S. Roof terrace with amazing sea view is very good bonus

Check-in is exactly at 14:00. This is a strict rule. But my bed was not ready by this time. I arrived in Istanbul at 6 am and came to the hostel, they told me to come at 14:00.

I really enjoyed the whole stay. Everything was just perfect. Great location just around the corner of the major historical spots blue mosque and aghia sophia, 2 mn easy direct line walk to tram station. Comfortable mattress, clean floor and toilet. Staff members are really friendly and helpful, they do not hesitate to guide and advise you if you need any help. They give free luggage rooms and lockers. Breakfast is good, they have a beautiful terrace. You can access the kitchen to make coffee, snacks or to put your drinks and food in the fridge. Hot water, A.c ate available. Calm and safe place. 💚
