The hotel is new,new furniture, so clean and comfortable and the stuff was so friendly and helpful, would totally recommend.

The room was very nice! Drinking water was provided every day, the beds were made daily and the floors were mopped. The location is great. You can get everywhere from there. I can only recommend it!

We loved our stay! Highly recommend for couples or solo travelers, or for families with no mobility issues. The room we booked was super comfortable and had AC, plus a deck/patio outside. All modern/new appliances (shower, fridge, sinks, soft lighting, furniture). Very friendly check in/check out staff that were super accommodating with our arrival and departure times! The location is awesome because it’s quiet but still close to karakoy/Galata and old town. We walked everywhere but you could easily train!

It was all wonderful! One thing to note is that there were no chairs or tables in the double room we booked, but there was a desk/shelf unit, and two chairs outside on the patio :) This was no problem for us at all— and it actually works well if you want space to lay a mat for prayer, yoga, splurge on a rug, etc.! I would not recommend this place if you have problems with mobility because there is no elevator… but if this isn’t the case, I would say book this place because you won’t find a better spot for the price, quality, and location!

We loved our stay at this charming, cozy, and exceptionally clean hotel. It’s located right in the heart of Istanbul, just a few minutes from Galata Tower and Istiklal Street, yet tucked away in a quiet lane where it was peaceful at night. The room was spotlessly clean and had a fresh, pleasant scent. The bed was comfortable, with excellent, fresh linens and towels, and the room was cleaned daily. The staff was polite and very welcoming. While breakfast wasn't provided, the hotel manager recommended a nearby café, Lavander, which offers hearty and delicious breakfasts at a great price. Many touristic sights are within walking distance, along with plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants.

The hotel is charmingly cozy, with one unique quirk: it has no lift, so you'll need to navigate steep stairs to reach the upper floors. If you’re traveling with a heavy or large suitcase, this could be a bit of a challenge. However, the hotel’s friendly administrator is always ready to assist and can help bring your luggage up to your room, making your stay more comfortable.

The location is absolutely perfect—nestled in a quiet and peaceful alley, yet incredibly convenient for getting around the city: everything is easily accessible. The room was superb—comfortable, modern, and immaculately clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Every aspect of the room felt fresh and new, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The best part, however, was the staff. They were exceptional—supportive, kind, precise, and always available to help. Despite our very late arrival, they greeted us warmly and made sure we were settled in without any hassle. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect stay in the city. It was an all-around fantastic experience!

We had a great experience at this newly opened and renovated hotel! The bed was incredibly comfortable and large, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The air conditioning worked well, which was important during the warm days. The location is quiet, with no noise disturbances, and it’s super central for exploring this part of Istanbul. Restaurants and shops are just a 5-minute walk away, and there’s a nearby metro station. Also, cat lovers will enjoy seeing many cats around the area and even in front of the hotel!

On the downside, the hotel doesn't have an elevator, and the stairs are quite narrow. While we only had hand luggage, this could be a challenge for anyone with bigger bags. The reception isn’t always staffed, which might sometimes cause problems for guests. Lastly, the balcony could be better equipped, as it lacked a table and chairs for relaxing.

I recently spent two nights at the Galata Calm Tale Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed, providing a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The air conditioning worked exceptionally well, which was a relief given the Turkish heat and humidity. The hotel's location is excellent, situated close to numerous shops and various types of public transportation, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were exceptionally helpful, always ready with amazing suggestions for food spots and the best shopping locations. It was a beautiful stay which I would recommend.

Charming, comfortable and clean room, central location, very kind people at the reception (especially Yassir and Mahmoud) who will always try their utmost to make the best out of your stay. This hotel understands very well that kindness and being helpful is the start of everything.

Only the climb up to Istiklal, and the climb up from Galata Port, coming from Sultanahmet. But then you should skip Istanbul all together because exploring the city on foot will make you climb either way :D

- Hotel staff very friendly and helpful ( client oriented ) - Very central and good location near (300m uphill) to the Istiklal Cd.and to millions ( it felt like this ✌️) restaurants, cafes and other stores - Good internet - Clean

- Parterre room had a muffy smell and no daylight (rooms on etages are much better!) - Balcony on the parterre room is not really a balcony ( its rather useless) - It's not a perfect hotel but for this money its almost impossible to find a better one in that area
