- Rooms looks bigger on pictures. Actually, they are pretty small - You can t open the windows to have fresh air - Some noise from outside - Low water pressure on 4th floor while showering - Doesn t look like a 4 star boutique hotel but its value for money for what it offers.

Aircon was not working (and there was no other form of air ventilation) and if you open the balcony door, street noise wouldn't let you sleep. Nonetheless, temp in the city was good so I could manage.

The room was small but enough for what we needed (2 people). Everything was very clean and new and the bathroom worked perfectly, with hot water. The staff (sorry, I forgot the name of the man) was super helpful and was available on whatsapp anytime. The hotel is very well located, in the neighbourhood of Galata, 2 mins walking to the tower and to the famous street of Istiklal. I really recommed this place.

The hotel was next to a mosque so the first call to pray in the morning (around 6 am) woke us up every morning.

Ali who met us was super friendly and welcoming. Very helpful and even took us to a coffee place one morning. The hotel is very central and we walked everywhere from there and felt very safe coming back at night after dinner and drinks. Hotel room was a good size and modern. Very good for the price we paid.

Galata Co is a very pleasant small hotel in the vibrant Pera district. Located between Istiklal Street and the Gaĺata Tower it is easily accessible by metro Sishane which is on the main line and also by funicular tram from Karakoy. The building itself is a historic one but the rooms are spacious and get good light. The renovated bathroom is an added bonus. Ali, our host was very kind and extremely helpful. We will definitely visit again.

The staff is so kind and professional. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and happy at all times. Ali was especially kind. I also love the location. It's right in the heart of Galata, near restaurants and shops and all of the action, but not too busy or noisy at night. Close to a lot of transportation options as well.

I would have liked a duvet insert for the cover.

It was a small room, but compared to other rooms at this price the size was decent. The location was absolutely perfect. The galata neighbourhood is the most family friendly and versatile neighbourhood in Istanbul. You have easy access to both metro, bus and tram. The hotel room was clean and had a small cute balcony. We did have a mini fridge as well. That was about it. You have to climb all the stairs and the room was only good for sleeping. Nothing else to offer in the hotel.

Nothing much. I wish it was more hotel like and less like a room for sleeping.

I loved how clean the hotel was, everything was where you needed it to be, you had your own key and lock for the door and the main door, so coke and go as you please - the location is the best, literally at the start of Istiklal Street (all the main shops in Taksim) everything is a walking distance away. I will be back! The staff were exceptional, great hospitality

Nothing really, if I had to be really critical, it would just be the shower was a bit awkward, but it wasn’t even bad at all in all honesty, couldn’t fault the hotel, had everything I needed

The hotel is located in Galata, less then 5min walk from Şişhane underground station and Galata Tower. The region is extremely pleasant, full of life during the day and also at night, with the nearby İstiklal Street always busy. The hotel is small (just a few rooms) and cosy. The room is spotless cleaned, the bed is comfortable, the shower is great and the WiFi works properly. The reception area is small and most of the times that I was arriving or leaving there wasn't anyone there, however it's easy to communicate with the hotel staff through WhatsApp in case of necessity.

The only thing I would comment is that there wasn't room cleaning in one of the days, but this is just a minor observation considering how good the hotel is. If one day I come back to Istanbul, I'll definitely stay in this hotel again.

The location is perfect. The room is clean, stylish and pretty nice. Everything that was mentioned in the description was the room.

The room was very small. The sound isolation between the main room and the bathroom was practically absent. The host didn't met as on the arrival and didn't leave an instruction about getting in.
