Cheap, and balcony. Breakfeast, but they really should have nutcream everyday and some new bread, since it is like rubber. Water could also be HOT, not only 50 degree!

All over the hostel, things was broken. Curtain, shower head, hair-drier turned off!!, Disgusting kitchen, old food, no system, not cleaned!. MOLD everywhere in the showers and NO cleaning of the floor for the 7 days I was there. Dust in the windows.... My room card, was locked down 3 times, instead of working all my 7 days! Also not cleaning UNDER beds! Booking.com really should stop selling beds here if they dont fix things and remove the MOLD. People can get sick!

- Free breakfast (egg, cheese, jams, bread) - Great value for money - Plug next to each bed - Air con that works! - Clean and comfy small dorms - Great large communal/workspace - Live music played on the street every night - Rooftop terrace with giant chess - Great location for main tourist sights (15mins from Sultanahmet square) - Key card access to dorms - Receptionist usually present - Kitchen with a hot plate, fridge, kettle etc. and is clean.

- Loud at night due to restaurant street location - 1 fridge and two hot plates for the entire hostel. Not enough space to store food.

-Location :is good -Property :is clean -Staff :are good but the owner is wederfu he makes you feel like you at own place cleanliness : 10/10 Trust me you will love it and you will enjoy it. I stayed 15 days there and i haven't seen anything bad to complain about . NOTE!!!!! Try to clean after your self to keep it clean don't wait for them to clean after and then start complaining

Every thing is good

Everything - they organised the taxi pick up from airport to hostel which meant that i was not scammed if i had done it myself. Yuhan the manager of the hostel kept me uptodate throughout the journey until i reached the destination. Check-in was done smoothly . i have travelled many times to Istanbul over the past 15 years and must admit this was certainly the best smooth check in i have had experienced. Yuhan the manager ensured that we were made to feel at home - provided us with information and all resources a family of 8 could ask for. his pleasant nature and the ability to communicate in English was very helpful. the atmosphere at the hostel was so good. The place is very secure and it is located in a historical part of istanbul.

The staff went over and above to accommodate us - we arrived at 6.30am with 2 kids after a long overnight flight & they did everything to make it easier for us. We also used their laundry service and the clothes came back perfect (and we’d been travelling in Africa for 2 months so they were filthy to start with). We then had a very early check out when we left (4.30am) and the shuttle they organised for us was perfect and a good price too. The added bonus of breakfast was great! The hostel is in a great area of the old city - felt safe (important with kids). Our son loved the foosball table too! Thank you for a wonderful stay in Istanbul!

Maybe is better to put curtains for beds To feel privacy

The day time manager Johan is great. Probably my 2nd favorite accommodation manager all time. The location is also good and close to many things. A short ten minute walk from the U3 tram. It's also not far from the water. The top floor is also a good work area and its not usually loud despite the cafes below. The beds are are relatively comfortable, but the blankets are better. I'd give it an 8.5.

The window opens from the top down(hinge bottom) instead of from the left or right. So the air circulation isnt great, especially when the room is filled. The kitchen on the top isn't always keep clean, and could use some improvements. Also maybe start to fining people who don't clean up after themselves. The breakfast is alright, but perhaps it could change slightly. Lastly, I noticed the evening/early night desk worker isn't exactly friendly or social.

I don't think you could find better hostel for cheaper price. And you have breakfast. for breakfast you have a plate prepared for you (and covered in plastic wrap). Bathrom was clean, you don't have toiletries. Room was clean, bunk beds, clean sheets. Reception working 24/7. Location is okay- 13/15 min to grand bazar and tramp T1(brings you across Galata bride) and 20min to Aya Sofia. It's in a location with a lot of restaurants and during the night you can listen to traditional folk music (it's not loud and you can sleep). Reaching aeroport with minimal walking and no taxi: go 3min by foot, downhill, towards the sea. Take BN1 bus for 13 stops(17lira, Istanbul card), exit and take Hava Bus 10 (5e) -in total, bevause It was rush hour it takes 2 hours. There are other ways but required taking taxi or walking 15/25min.

Most importantly - great staff. During the trip, I felt unwell, the employee helped with everything necessary, sent me to the hospital. Good location of the hostel, pleasant area with restaurants, walking distance to the main attractions. At the same time, the price is low and a simple breakfast is included. On the 4th floor there is an open terrace, it is nice to sit. There is also a kitchen.

There are no curtains on the beds. Lockers with things are not locked with a key. For the lower tier, the second bed is very low, because of this I scratched my skin when I got up unsuccessfully.
