Everything was perfect. I would especially like to thank Mr. Erhan and Mr. İbrahim. They were very helpful. The rooms are clean and quiet, the hotel is located nearby. You can reach anywhere in 20 minutes. I stayed between 19-26 July for 1 week and was very pleased.

Helpful and available staff. Good communication. Breakfast with a reasonable choice of food, but don't get too excited. Elevator in service.

If you consider to let some fresh air in thorough the room window, think twice, because there is a thick layer of pigeon shit outside and several nests in the adjoining attic.

The buffet breakfast was excellent with a choice of scrambled and boiled eggs. I enjoyed the coffee maker with its many options and takeaway cups. The staff were helpful and provided fresh lemons for me to juice every morning, and I added honey to build up my immune system. Coffee in room, mini fridge, array of soap and shampoo. The staff helped with a lot of tour information.

It is located at the base of a very high hill, which we have to walk to get to the trams. This uphill walking for 15 minutes pushing a baby's pram can be strenuous on knees.

The hotel was situated in a good and accesibile area of the city (20 min walk to the Ayasofia mosque) and also close to a tram station. The staff was very friendly and any issued that we had was resolved immediately.

The breakfast was good but not very diverse. The rooms that we were offered were not renovated recently and the water pressure in the showers wasn't great, but overall the experience was very good and they offered a lot for the small price that we payed for this accomodation.

Shower... it could be a bit cleaner and the shower leaked and the pressure wasn't very good. We also had to be moved from one room to another during our stay. And after we arrived we were asked to pay in cash and didn't get a receipt or prove of payment and were a bit worried that we'd get charged again from the card that we put while booking it - but that didn't happen and everything worked out in the end :)

The host was very polite and he helped us a lot with getting around. The place is a very good value for money. It does need some renovations, but it was very clean. The breakfast was also adequate enough not to go and eat somewhere else.

Nothing particular. Perhaps since we were on the fourth floor, we did mind the carts being left in the hall, but this is just a minor thing.

The delicious breakfast has a lot of variety and is continually restocked. Erhan was welcoming and very helpful. Cleaning staff did a great job as well. The room was surprisingly peaceful with the AC on despite being right in the center of lots of activity. We were steps away from shops and restaurants at various price points and able to walk in under half an hour to the Basilica Cistern and other sites. Cat haven across the street from our window <3

During our recent stay in Istanbul, Turkey, my family and I experienced exceptional hospitality at Germenicia. We are a couple and we stayed for 10 nights...Quality-price Super! Location is really good, 12-13 minutes from Tram, 2 minutes from Bus Stop...20 min on foot from sultanahmet...there's a magic atmosphere in the nights over there ... the guys at the receptions are amazing! Alex Fetih in particular always available for any need we had... room a bit small but comfortable and really CLEAN! that's the most important thing, they would clean every day... thank you so much guys ...good job!
