The best thing about this property is their location, their staff and the hotel itself. Everyone is very friendly over there and they go out of their way to make your trip a memorable one. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone and would book it again myself too. You are located in the heart of everything which a traveler wants to explore. Great food options nearby too. The hotel rooms are amazing and all the amenities a person wants. The rooftop is just beautiful with all the views. Thank you to everyone there during our stay.

LOCATION - fantastic. 10 minute walk to the blue mosque. Supermarket and restaurants nearby. BREAKFAST - Fabulous - lots of choice, cold meats, cheese, olives, salad, omelette made to order, tea, coffee, on the rooftop terrace for fab views of the Hagia Sofia, blue mosque and the Bosphorus. ROOMS - clean, comfortable, great shower pressure, aircon, slippers, water tea and coffee provided each day in room, complimentary toiletries. STAFF - excellent staff, very helpful, friendly and accommodating. PRIVATE AIRPORT SHUTTLE - €60 for 2 people. Efficient. On time. CAFE - great coffee.

I had the most incredible time and felt completely at home thanks to the warm and nurturing atmosphere, especially Mehmet Ali Nacar. He went above and beyond to make my first trip to Turkey truly exceptional. Traveling alone could have been daunting, but he made it so much easier by guiding me to the trams and ferries, highlighting must-visit hotspots, and sharing fascinating historical insights. His efforts made the experience unforgettable. The food was absolutely delicious and the rooms are so nice and clean and comfortable. The night Manager was so lovely as well.

I truly couldn’t find a single flaw with the property—it was absolutely perfect.

The hotel has an excellent location: 5 min walk to all mail attractions of the Old Town, 15 min to Grand Bazar, 20 min to main piers to get to the leisure boats. If you are planning to use a tram it is 8 min walk. I booked a transfer to pick up at the airport for 60 euro and on the way back they ordered me a taxi for 33 euro. The hotel itself is very clean, modern and comfortable. The Elevator is a great addition . The upper terrace gives an outstanding view to thе Sea of Marmora, you can sit there at any time and enjoy. The staff of the hotel is a separate pleasure to communicate: extremely polite, friendly, assisting and ready to explain everything). Ali ( the General manager) talks personally to all the guests trying to accommodate all their requests, he is beyond any compliments. The hotel is highly recommended.

The hotel room was well appointed, large and very clean. The cleaning staff were very thorough every day. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were super attentive and very helpful. The owner was very attentive, super resourceful. The terrace views were extraordinary. The buffet breakfast was varied and very tasty. There were so many options that you didn't need to eat again until dinner. The hotel is central - easy walking distance to the Sultahammet square to see the Mosque and Hagia Sophia, museum and to the tramway for access to other sites.

Be aware that the hotel is on a street with many restaurants and bars. There is loud music coming from the bar/restaurant across the street from the hotel called Siva - on some days well past 1 a.m. Its unfortunate because the Henna hotel is awesome place to stay. Although the room was soundproof, we felt the reverberations of base sounds and had a hard time to sleep on our first night. By 1 a.m. we asked the hotel staff to cross over and ask the restaurant to tone it down, which thankfully they did.

This hotel has probably the best location in the city. Situated in the neighborhood where hotels and restaurants and shops gather and is only 5 minutes’ walk from Sultanahmet Park, centre of the historic peninsula of the European side of Istanbul. The most famous tourist attractions Ayasofya and Sultanahmet Camii is within five minutes’ walking distance and the station of Tram 1 ten. Room is clean, spacious enough to walk around and is equipped with all necessities. Shower water is hot and big. Breakfast has a wide variety that includes almost all genre of food for breakfast and also varies from day to day. contains local cuisine such as menemen, simit, lentil soup, dried fig and apricot, etc. When checking in, the hotel offers Turkish tea and also serves some snacks and tea in the afternoon. The roof terrace is one of the specialties for this hotel where you can see Ayasofya, Sultanahmet Camii and Bosporus Strait right in front of your eyes. Although I went there in cold season when no guests go up to the terrace to have breakfast, but still I enjoyed watching sunrise and sunset from there. Every staff has been welcoming and kind and of great help. They help with the luggage and escort guests to the room. General Manager Mehmet Ali Nacar is very friendly, responsible, always there for help and sees to it that every guest feels at ease and at home. He also takes great pictures for guests on the roof terrace. If you have any question about your traveling plan or traffic concerns, just ask him and he’ll come up with various solutions.

Phenomenal property with opportunities to take memorable pictures everywhere. Nice finishing in units. Wonderful breakfast included. Gorgeous rooftop area to take pictures of Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. PERFECT LOCATION within walking distance to all the sites. Most memorable part (on top of all this!) was however the staff . Staff where there to help with any and all questions and even support us with taxi arrangements. Owner Ali was a truly exceptional host. When we return, we won’t think of going anywhere else!

We arrived very early and Melissa, who was at the front desk, was so helpful to have allowed us an early check-in. She even invited us to have breakfast . Ali, the manager, welcomed us to the Hotel and made us all feel at home. He even offered us his assistance after our stay as we had moved on to a different part of Istanbul. Henna Hotel was close to all main attractions and they were within walkable distance. Breakfast was excellent and the chef even came by to explain each dish to us.

In the evening, the restaurant touts outside were very pushy with their offerings. Probably have to ignore them.

This hotel had everything going for it. It’s a functional hotel, and I mean that in a very positive sense, but if your looking for character rather than practicality, this may not be for you. The rooms are clean, modern, well appointed and have all one needs at a very reasonable price. The location could not be better, so close to the main three sites in Sultanamet, that it was easy to rise early and see them before the huge crowds. The Number 2 tram which was our lifeline was not far, so getting about is easy. I would certainly recommend staying in this part of town for its convenience and character. The breakfast was very complete, indeed excellent. To top all this off the staff were professional, kind and helpful. The reception staff are efficient and welcoming, and Ali, the manager, is on hand in the mornings to give welcome advice on what to do in the city and how best to get about.

The location is brilliant, a 5-10 minute walk to The Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. The tram was equal distance if you want to go further afield, in fact everything you need is walkable. There are plenty of restaurants around the hotel if you don’t have the energy to walk any further in the evening. The staff are lovely and can’t do enough for you. Mehmet the General Manager was wonderful to us when we were stressing about our transport back to the airport and helped to sort everything out for us. Our room was clean and comfortable and we were lucky to have a view across to the Bosporous. Breakfast on the roof terrace was nice and relaxed and had plenty of choice. We would thoroughly recommend Henna Hotel and it will definitely be our choice if we are lucky enough to visit Istanbul again.
