The look of the room, the breakfast, the bed and the location.

Items in the room are old and need reparation ( shower door, shower itself, table in the room). For a 5 days stay it would be nice to have the room cleaned at least once.

Good breakfast, views from breakfast terrace were amazing. Hotel located between the Blue Mosque and Aya Sophia - both seen from 5th and 6th floor terrace windows; easy walk to lots of tourist attractions, staff friendly and helpful, ability to store luggage at reception day of departure, free wifi,fridge in room. Sympathetic staff helped relocate second guest to another hotel nearby as we no longer wished to share a room and the Nayla Palace Hotel was booked out. With a change of my plans I was able to stay for 6 nights in total. Staff helped as much as they could with translator app on mobile. If easy access to attractions is your priority, rather than glitz and glamour, Nayla fits the bill. Good weather and of average fitness I was even able to walk from the hotel to the Galata Tower and Taksim Square!

Rooms had too much unnecessary furniture making it hard to unpack..... hardly any useful storage space in a very small room. tv in my room did not work at all but there were no English channels available anyway. Given only one swipe card for the room - made it impossible to twin share with a non partner. Note the evening restaurant serving dinner on the top floor is not run by the Nayla Palace Hotel and though food was just OK, high prices were ridiculously excessive. I recommend the Palatium Shisha Cafe and Restaurant on the opposite side of Kutlugin Sk street to Nayla Palace Hotel as better value and atmosphere.

Room was very very clean and new, cleaning was done every single day with towels change, everything worked from tv, AC, shower to toilet. The size is the same as all standard rooms in the area, maybe even more. Might seem small because of some nice, but useless pieces of furniture, lile the armchair. The staff was very polite and helpful, they helped us with a room at a higher level, as we requested and the persons handling breakfast were very nice, positive, smiling. Breakfast is plenty and diverse without a doubt, there is constant refill, even for late risers. The view from the terrace where breakfast is served is amazing, more beautiful than the photos. I highly recommend this place, is on a quiet street, with little traffic, the car is parked laterally on the street next to the entrance of the hotel, but safe.

This hotel was nice and had a unique feel (not a standard modern hotel room) due to the decor. The location was excellent if you want to stay in the historic/touristic part of the city but not deal with noise; it was very quiet at night on the back street. Breakfast area is on the roof providing great views of the river and downtown Istanbul at sunrise :) Easy walk from the closest metro/tram station.

As mentioned in many reviews, the rooms are indeed on the small side. Did not bother me personally & traveling alone, but for some people/groups it might be a concern as there is not much extra room.

Location was excellent. Literally five mins at most to Aya Sofia and Blue Mosque. Comfortable beds. Cleanliness good and staff very courteous and friendly

We’ve been to Istanbul a few times. The only constructive feedback would be that the breakfast wasn’t as good or as varied as we’ve had at other local hotels but it certainly wasn’t ‘bad’. Not a big thing but other hotels give you a choice of how you like your eggs (fried, omelettes etc) but here it’s boiled or scrambled only. It isn’t enough to put us off staying here again and we definitely would come back here

Nayla Palace is a charming small hotel in Old Town on a quiet street. The location is perfect. Breakfast buffet had a good variety of food on an upper floor with a beautiful view. Helpful staff. I'm glad that I arranged airport transfers both ways though the hotel.

No complains, just a few things that might matter to some travelers: A standard twin room is very small, but it is expected in old town. The view from the room is not appealing but covered nicely with thick sheer curtains. Beds are too firm for more than a couple night's stay.

It’s a lovely, small hotel in the very city centre. Amazing location, a minute or two from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The room was quite small, but very cosy and comfortable. Everything was fresh and clean, they also have a daily room service. The breakfast is held on a terrace with a truly beautiful view, both on Hagia Sophia and Bosphorus - we absolutely loved it! The choice could be a bit bigger, but it’s totally fine for a couple of days - we never left hungry. Extra point for a nice variety of Turkish mezes! Last, but not least - very kind and helpful staff, we felt very much welcomed, we could ask any questions and eventually we were able to leave our bags for a couple of hours after the check-out. The quality was very high, especially for this budget - we enjoyed our stay and can 100% recommend :)

Great location- only 3 mins walk away from blue mosque and Hagia Sophia. Close to main visiting sites 10 min walk from Grand bazaar. The hotel had good decor and design Really nice breakfast with ample choice. One of the best coffee's in hotel🙂 The staff on reception and kitchen were so helpful,friendly and accomodating with requests. I would recommend and stay again if revisiting. Thank you to all the staff at Nayla Palace.

Requested ground floor room for convenience but unfortunately meant sacraficing a view and waa facing another apartment and blocked view/ natural light which was disappointing, did request to change to better room but told none available. The bathroom felt quite cold when temperature dropped and not having any heating system meant there was nothing to be done when needing to use facilities.😒

The location is excellent. 5 mins walk to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. There are many eateries around the hotel. The staffs are very helpful. The rooms are extremely clean including linens

The rooms are extremely small. If you have large suitcase it might be even difficult to open it in the room. Another thing I want to point out that for a traveller who is paying enough to book a room at your property have the courtesy to provide enough drinking water. The hotel provides just a 500 ml bottle for each traveller for the day. If you need more you need to buy.

The location of this little hotel is superb, it is within couple of minutes of walk to Hagia Sofia and many amazing restaurants. Little quiet street in a very busy area. The hotel has a restaurant on site so evening meal is possible without leaving the hotel. The beds and linen were clean, towels changed on the request. The breakfast was good, but very repetitive. Nice view.

While the hotel is in quiet street, you could hear calls for prayers, it felt like we are right outside the mosque. The breakfast was good, but very repetitive, coffee machine didn't work and we were not offered a substitute. The breakfast buffet was not stocked up by staff so if the food run out it was pretty much hard luck (aim for 8am). We have had our first evening meal here, while the food was good, it was more pricey than the restaurants near by. Also, there is no atmosphere. It felt very quiet and unwelcoming.
