Best located for metro city food anywere

but i pay full before i arrived they asked me unexpected fee

The breakfast was good. Satff very friendly and helpful. Location was good for our needs. Breakfast was different every day not like some hotels we have been to,

I think they could have a kettle and beverages in hotel as we like to have a cup of tea or coffee whenever we feels like it and no need to go outside to get. There was no blankets/duvet on beds just sheet to cover you but I dont know if this was normal or just this once off? Maybe because so hot? we did not mind as it was hot. The sheets were changed every day. the room was cleaned every day and the staff and management very helpful if you need anything. They will assist you with whatever they can.

The location, the staff and good. Breakfast is a bit monotonous and lacks in fruits but has a good choice of salads and other items. The staff are very polite, quick in their responses and very helpful. We really liked the location of the hotel which is less than 5 minutes walk from the YusufPasa tram station with approx 15 min on the tram to the Hagia Sophia/Blue Mosque and 25-30 mimute to Galata Tower, Karakoy Ferry Terminal and Dolbalmahce palace. There are a lot of restaurants near the tram station which makes this an ideal place for stay in Istanbul. You also have only about 15 minutes walk to Yanikapi train station from where you can get train to Asian side of Istanbul. If you want to have meals, buy baklava etc. the prices here are much lower here compared to areas near tourist hotspots.

The double room 502, was a bit small in terms of its width. The side tables were tiny as a result. And as a result perhaps no coffee or tea facilitieswere available in the room. However the room and bathroom are very clean and they changed the towels every day and badsheets every 3rd day.

very friendly and helpful staff at anytime. the property was very clean and felt comfortable at all times. very large and clean seating area to relax if you want to stay out of your room for a while. large breakfast area. less than 5 mins walk to tramway to main attractions. loads of restaurants and shops in walking distance.

The breakfast was very good but it was just repetitive. The employees of all departments in the Hotel were great and very helpful during all our stay. It was great value for money. The area is very good and during night time was calm and quiet. The location of the Hotel is within walking distance to the main public transportation. I really recommend the hotel and for sure I will stay again in Hotel Grand Umit whenever I am in Istanbul.

The breakfast if they can change something everyday, it would be perfect. All remaining is perfectly as shown and sometimes even better. Thank you.

We booked 3 rooms and arrived 2 hrs early and were allowed to check in early. Farhaan and staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, location great and lots of shops within walking distance. Free WiFi and working Aircon. When one of the rooms air con was faulty, they immediately offered another room with a working Aircon.

Nothing really, we enjoyed all aspects of our stay at the hotel.

we don’t like break fast, in one week tried twice it should be like international standards at least tea and coffee , nothing for kids in breakfast especially, and I don’t like the payments method, language barrier with staff

I came to Istanbul to visit my family and I really wanted to book a room for 4 people not 2 separate rooms, so I can spend more time with them and I found this hotel on booking with good rate and reasonable price. It was hard to find a big room with this price in Istanbul and our room was spacious enough to let us have a comfortable stay during our trip. The staff were very kind and helpful with the luggage and every inquiry we had. Farhad is so attentive to make sure we were enjoying our stay there. The strongest point of this hotel is that, it seems to be a family friendly hotel and you feel like home. Breakfast was convenient and they cleaned the room every day.

The room was spacious.. entire hotel in general was cozy.. staff were so polite and giving assistanse and hospitality with a smile on their face.. hotel location was great.. near to tram station, restaurants, laundaries, super markets and the city center by the way and not too far from the metro station in addition .. what surprised me is that it was better than a 4 star hotel -where I were before coming to Grand Umit- despite it's cheeper .. I really would recommend it for every one and it will be my first choice every time I will come to Istanbul 👌

We stayed six nights and were very happy with the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was Turkish with a good selection of dishes each day - eggs, cheeses, salads, breads to name some. The room was a good size as was the shower/bathroom. Housekeeping kept the room beautifully clean. The hotel is a couple of minutes away from the tram to the Blue Mosque and Dolmabahce palace; and buses to Taksim square. Ideal for seeing the sights - Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia also easily walkable. Would book Grand Umit if I visited Istanbul again
