The staff was very polite and responsive, he took our bags, he gave us istanbul card for metro. He answered all our requests. The facility is very close to the center and the metro, I also liked the terrace very much. The room looks the same as in photos and everything worked well inside.

As written in reviews the adress is not right, I panicked a bit trying to find the reception. But then I wrote them on WhatsApp and they came for us. There are no signs that's why it's hard to find. My mum is 64 and didn't like the stairs, she said they are maybe a bit dangerous because the carpet falls off and you can easily slide. Regarding cleanliness, maybe they can pay more attention to cleaning the toilet and the sheets.

Amazing place, newly equipped historical building. The rooms let you feel like the beginning of the 20th century. Staff is super friendly and very helpful. They told me that they have just started to run the hotel few weeks ago. Therefor the whole equipment in the rooms were new. The Terrace is awesome with a great view over Sultanahmet Mosque, Princess Island and the Marmara sea. I would highly recommend this place for travelers and families.

Jako dobar smeštaj po veoma pristupačnoj ceni. Osoblje je veoma ljubazno, susretljivo i na usluzi za svako pitanje ili problem koji imate. Posebne zahvale Mehmetu. Takođe, veoma je jednostavno obaviti check-in. Stigle smo u ranim jutarnjim satima i odmah po dolasku dobile sobu. Enterijer hotela mi je ostavio poseban utisak.

Lokacija na Bookong.com nije tačna i to sam saznala čitajući recenzije. Međutim, odmah nakon rezervacije kontaktirala sam vlasnika hotela i dobila pravu adresu. Ulica u kojoj se nalazi smeštaj je malo zavučena, ali na jako maloj udaljenosti od centra i to nam je bilo najvažnije. Svuda se može stići peške.

I would absolutely recommend staying in Valeria Hotel. It is a very nice and cheap place in a walking distance from the city centre and all the major sites. It has a really interesting Anatolian-looking decor and the rooms were perfect and clean. The most important fact is, however, that the people working there are quite helpful and friendly. I would definitely go again to this place and I would strongly suggest everyone the same.

Mustafa and his team were all extremely friendly, welcoming and professional. Whilst they also offered genuine insight into the city and enabled me to meet some interesting local residents. Overall, the team made my stay an extremely pleasant one. The view from the top of the hotel is also incredible.

The taxi collection at the airport was actually only a taxi company working with the hotel and not the hotel staff, which made for a disjointed experience and delays.

At first I was a little put off with the non-descript sketchy "Reception" and the 5 minutes walk to the actual hotel (they have several buildings in the area), but I was immediately reassured on arrival and the overall experience more than made up for the trifle little initial impression. A little electric cart ride could easily fix that one little fault. They did however carry my luggage over the short walk.

We loved to stay here! The hosts were just so friendly, helpful and nice. Always a smile and welcome when we saw them. Great guides for the city. We got a lot of value for the price. Room is nice and clean and you can not hear the vibrant lively street outside. Rooms are just as you see on the pictures. We would love to stay here again!

Beautiful property, right in the heart of Istanbul and close enough to all sites and the metro! The terrace view is incredible, and our room had everything we needed. I can’t express how amazing the hotel manager Bayram was, exceptional service, was super helpful and very welcoming. He also provided us with a metro card to help us get around easily. One of the kindest people we have met along our trip!

Nothing, everything was great

The 2-minute walk to the city center is great. The atmosphere of the hotel is quite historical. The friendly staff is ready to solve whatever you need. The rooms are very clean and you can sit and enjoy the hotel's terrace with sea view at any time you want.
