This hotel was allocated to us as part of the Turkish Airlines Istanbul Stopover free accommodation program, which is a great idea. We extended one more night at a very reasonable cost. Good location within a pleasant 5 - 10 mins walk of the Grand Bazaar, Sultanahmet and the Çemberlıtaş Tram stop that connects to Galata, Eminonu etc. Breakfast was good. The room was reasonably well renovated although the building seems on the aged side.

The uphill walk to the attractions was fine for us, especially as it was winter, but may be a problem for some folks.

The building is quite pretty and stylish, the staff friendly and the location top. Most of the attractions are within walking distance. You can access Hammam, sauna and jacuzzi for 10€ per person as the basic package. You can also access massage and other treatments for an extra. It also has a nice roof top restaurant with fair price and excellent view of the city

Level of cleaning was an issue. While the common areas were top clean, the rooms not so much. The bathroom was dirty in the corners, the toilet not properly clean. The windows were regular so all the noise of the street could be heard. My last disappointment regards the breakfast. Quite simple, not really tasty nor fresh.

Everything was good...intact if it wasn't for 1 staff at reception spoiled the mood ...

1 of the staff at the reception was very rude...I also asked the staff on 3 occasions to make me a packed lunch in the end It was not forthcoming...all the rest of the staff was great especially okay was very helpful...I would still like to thank to the rest of the staff...

Location was very good. Buffet breakfast was included. Additionally there were many restaurants in the neighborhood. It was easy to go to the principal tourist attractions by foot from the hotel. It is also very close to the T1 tram. We felt safe arriving even by night. Personnel was very helpful and gave us good indications and help when needed. We had room with balcony and the view was super. The building looks old from outside, but is clean and correct inside.

The elevators are too small and can be difficult for people with reduced mobility to fit in. We arrived early to take breakfast and some of the food was still cold.

Location is close to all popular attractions. Grand Bazaar is just round the corner. Street food is also close by. Only recommended if you are willing to walk steep roads up and down. It's actually what Istanbul is all around. Hotel breakfast was warm and good. Cleanliness was very good. I would appreciate if bathrooms had shampoo and conditioner in them too. Definitely will stay there again.

Toilet/bathroom should have shampoo/conditioner/ shower gel included. Had body lotion though.

Breakfast menu was very good. However, we had to pay extra charges for egg omelet which is bit unusual. Overall breakfast rating by us is 7/10. Had a chance to dine-in at hotel restaurant at roof top. Food taste was good, however, portion was bit small. Overall Food rating by us is 7/10. Room ambience was nice, however, bidet shower/muslim shower (Arabic name: Shattaf) was not available. Bathroom door has no lock and Safe deposit locker was also not working. Room appeared to be bigger in pics available at booking.com, however in reality it was bit small. All major landmarks are easily accessible via foot from Hotel. No need to get a taxi. Just a few minutes’ walk to each landmark. Adjacent streets have many restaurants, and their food quality is also very good. All hotel staff was very cooperative specially the Guest Relations lady (Ms. Yousra). She is truly professional, very co-operative and possess a down to earth personality. She guided us a lot in getting UBER / Taxis etc. Both myself and my wife enjoyed our discussions/gossiping with Ms. Yousra. Hats off to Ms. Yousra. Bidet shower (Arabic name: Shattaf) must be provided be in bathrooms. Door lock must be installed at bathroom door. Safe deposit locker must be operative. Restaurant timings (for dinner) to be increased up to 1200 am.

Stayed here for the weekend of the Champions League final to attend the match the property was absolutely beautiful, excellent location and very reasonably priced considering the weekend that was in it. Breakfast was included we went down the 1st morning for it nice selection but wouldn't be our type of food so we didn't bother the second morning. Staff very friendly very responsive to email before our stay. The spa looked lovely but just didn't have the time to go to it. Gorgeous restaurant across the road Mivan Restaurant & Cafe defiantly try it.

The internet is very very slow, the breakfast is the same and not much varieties and they also give me a small bed in the hotel room

It was a friendly hotel in the heart of old Istanbul. It was easy to get around, not far from a tramlines. The area has a lot of character. The reception and concierge staff were wonderful. They were very helpful.

Breakfast was a bit ordinary. But as there were lots of lovely little places nearby to get coffee and nice Turkish breakfast it didn't matter.
